Benson clapped his hands "Good, now were talking"

At the road where the mound was, Phillip first turned around before he got out.

"Ok, down there is a spot i need to inspect, you three stay up here and keep watch, make sure nothing that moves accept for me stays alive long"

Phillip gave Suzette a kiss then after he shouldered the duffle bag slowly headed down again. Just as he did before, but this time he moved in a wide angle around the mound, then started planting landmines and claymores. He made sure there were no gaps, any angle around him from the forest's side was b.o.o.bytrapped. Then as a contingency plan he placed the C4 in such a way that he could hide or run past it and detonate it so it could aid him. Feeling more comfortable he turned to the mound. Firstly he checked the ground around it, lines of wolf tracks lead from it into the forest, some ended behind rocks, some behind bushes and trees. Then he looked closely at the mound, the stones he saw was not stones on a closer look, it was infact bones, mostly human. It was an ambush point, but, why would someone come down here on purpose? Usually ambush points are on regularly used game trails? It was almost like one should be lured down here first, Phillip wished Anna was here to explain this, but she pulled out like a real b.i.t.c.h when he needed her most, so much for that lovely kiss.

'You're going to have to give her more than just a kiss, to get her out here' A voice spoke to him, Phillip slowly turned around, but instead of seeing a woman, there was something that almost made him wet himself. It was a very large wolf, but skin less, it was a skeleton, the muscle still attached to the bone, and its eyes still in the sockets. It snarled but had no lips to draw back, Phillip lifted the AK and fired, the wolf turned and ran, he at first had it on burst, but quickly switched to full auto and let loose, three out of five of the old Angolan rounds. .h.i.t doing ma.s.sive damage but it didn't go down, it turned to him but its hind leg tripped a land mine and blew it flipping forward into the air. Phillip used this time to reload and step back, but this thing wasn't done, as soon as it hit the ground it came at him still, using its front legs to drag its blown away hind quarters along, Phillip continued firing, it started going right again, running in an arc, Phillip felt sick seeing it drag its intestines behind it, It yet again turned to him but tripped the wire of a claymore and blew its front legs of by the knees, it roared and relentlessly started dragging itself using its front stumps, at that moment the men who stood watching above found it safe enough to also start firing. Phillip didn't really want this, now they made their presence noticed to this thing, it roared and turned to them, Phillip saw it head straight for the block of C4 so he slinged the AK and got the detonator ready, the skinless wolf literary tripped over the C4 when Phillip slammed the b.u.t.ton. The explosion lit up the forest with its thunderous explosion, Phillip misjudged the potency of the explosive charge and got caught in the blast.

"Phillip!" Suzette yelled seeing him get thrown a couple of meters back, she started running down the hill to aid him.

"Phi...p"

He was dazed, confused, his ears rang.

"P...lip!"

He heard a voice again, he remembered that voice, a female voice, then the vision of that thing came into his mind again. He stood up staggering, lifting the AK.

"Philli..."

"b.i.t.c.h!" He yelled turning to the voice and fired a burst, but too late he noticed it was Suzette, in his dazed vision he saw her go down after the shot.

"Oh no! Suzette!" He yelled running and falling to hos knees next to her, she was screaming and holding her arm. He saw one of the unbalanced rounds took her arm clean off by the elbow, he felt like a complete and utter imbecile.

"Whats wrong with you!?" She yelled.

"Im, im sorry" he cried lifting her in his arms and heading up the hill to the Jeep.

"Is she ok?" One of the Russians asked.

"No, i accedently shot her arm off!" He yelled putting her in the pa.s.sanger seat.

"Get in!" He yelled and started up.

As he raced back to Chitina he turned to the Russians "Where's the closest hospital!?"

"Far! She won't make it!"

"Fok!" He yelled.

As they came into Chitina he had to brake for Anna who walked over the road, she glared at him, but then she saw Suzette, opening the door she yelled.

"Bring her! I can help!"

Phillip didn't think twice he got Suzette out of the vehicle and ran after Anna into Benson's cabin, she got a medikit out of the kitchen and came back

"To your room!" She yelled and Phillip ran up the short flight of stairs, her in tow. Benson stood watching the whole story in shock.

"This was a mistake" He muttered and looked at the Russians, Anton held Phillip's AK to him.

Benson slowly took it from him.

In Philkip's room placed Suzette down on the bed. Anna had opened the medical kit and took a needle first.

"Hold her down, i need to inject antibiotics directly into the wound to prevent lead poisoning, it will be very painfull"

Phillip pinned Suzett down as Anna injected her, Suzette screamed of pain but went silent.

"What happened!?" Phillip yelled.

"Her tolerance to pain has reached its limit, she has fainted"

"Will she be ok?"

Anna looked up at him as she prepared a sewing needle.

"She will be as soon as i get the wound closed, so sush, let me work" She said and proseeded to close the wound, it took her a while to do it, and she had to constantly spray antibiotics on to keep the wound free of bacteria. When she was finally done she sighed and cleaned the exess blood of then rapped the wound in dressings.

"That should do it" She got another injection ready and stuck it into Suzette's arm.

"What is that?"

"A painkiller, and a relaxant, she will be sleeping alot from this, it's to allow her body to regenerate the blood she lost"

Phillip sighed and knelt next to Suzette, how could she ever forgive him? He can't even forgive himself, he looked up at Anna who was bussy wiping her hands.

"Thankyou, i dont know how i can ever repay you"

She kept looking at him, not really giving an indication of acceptance to his thanks.

"I saved her life, this means i get you to do anything i want" She said walking to the door "If she was grateful she'd allow it, its a once in a lifetime thing, when you are done here, i will be waiting at my place" She said and left. Phillip felt like hes been done in, but Anna had a point, if he lost Suzette, he'll probably slip into a state of depression, and end his own life eventually. Anna asked him something, and regardless of what Suzette sais moyw, his own grat.i.tude made him stand up and slowly close the door of the room, looking at his beloved Suzette one last time.
