Maya looked at Mormo with confused and sad eyes, "How would you do that?" she said softly. She looked at the ashes as if she thought about her family, she nodded her head.
Mormo put his hands away from her and turned around to exit the cave, as he was about to exit the cave Maya full force exploded out of her, and her force started to push strongly around Mormo.
It wasn't that he didn't predict this kind of outcome, but he still was too naïve. Its turn out that her pervious cry was all fake and her words were probably fake as well. The essence he inserted into her was easily destroyed under the big amount of essence that flow under her control, it was just too small to compare to her power when fully erected.
Worse was that the pressure that she managed to create was no small matter, he could move but with much difficulties. Mormo was really shocked for the first time in a long time he was so ashamed of himself that he was stuck speechless.
He dropped any idea of fighting and started to back up, he run too fast for him to calculate everything properly so as he jumped back, he coughed some blood. He didn't even manage to move more than 10 meters when abruptly 6 different people surrounded him and extract pressure from multiple different directions.
Mormo fell on the ground, even the simple act of breathing was hard for him.
He could just lie on the ground as he looked forward. After short moment a figure started to materialize right before of him. It was Opal a cute smile was plastered on her face.
"What an interesting item did you created" she said as she lower herself to grab his sword. In the moment she was about to grab it the sword turned completely into ashes. The smile didn't leave her face as she looked at him.
"Did you know that from this day you are going to be my faithful dog right?" she said with a happy tone.
Mormo just looked at her with a scorn, he didn't even try to argue with her. He knew very well how strong his mother was, when she will learn about all of that everything will just be solved.
As if she knew what he was thinking about she said, "Your mother has been capture and she is now … hmmm … trained to become a better wife for your father" she said with a smirk. It took a long moment to digest the information he heard, when his brain processed the information a strong rage replaces his "tranquil" state he tried to move but couldn't, he looked like a wild animal which lost all reason.
Opal walked slowly in his direction and whisper in his hears "You are about to die, you probably already figured it out. Why don't you compile to me and talk about all your interesting invention, if you will talk you will have a painless death."
Then which an evil smile she put her hand on his mouth, to block his ability to talk or make any sound and signal the soundings people, strong waves of fire unleased from the surrounding subordinates.
Most of the power which Mormo could extract with his control over his essence was just barely enough to keep him relatively unharmed under the pressure, so when the heat came in his way, he could do nothing about it and his skin was slowly burn away.
Mormo wanted to scream his guts out but he couldn't make any sound. She lifted her other hand and dig it out into his back, she used some unknown method to pull Mormo essence into her hand, this process was slow and painful as his skin burned all over the place. Mormo couldn't think at all, he was out of his mind all he wanted is for the pain to stop. The only place who was relatively intact was his back, he couldn't control himself at all his body was working on instincts alone so the essence all over his skin rushed to his back where they were easily pulled out from his body. In the start he felt a never ending burning but his state was fast turned worse as his body fell apart, he didn't have enough essence to support his muscle, the pain he felt was unimageable, it was so intense that in the process he faints and wake up countless of times. Breathing was painful and every time he fell pain he moved or tried to curl out as instinct which made his muscle to move more and his pain to mount up.
The endless cycle repeated itself again and again, after the longest period of time he ever experienced in his two lives he didn't even had a tiny piece of skin on his body all of it was burnt away, you could see his muscle with naked eyes. His cultivation was gone, and his mind was completely blank. Opal dug her little finger into his face to disorder and wounded his muscle in the area playfully. Now he didn't resembled a human being in anyway.
She never even considered asking him any real question. In her eyes he was now useless. he just lied on the ground without any movement even his breathing was nearly undetectable.
He couldn't predict any of the current development, he thought that everything was under his control, he thought himself to be smarter and better than anything as if he is controlling his own fate. Even if they had some evil plans, they needed him and his abilities, isn't he unique?
There were just too many things he didn't really understand at all.
Apparently, all of his planning and reasoning was just a dream or wishful thinking. He was left without anything to die like a worthless trash.
