Chapter 43: Apathetic To My Misfortunes

Jin Xiangdong returned home, bathing in the moonlight. When he entered the door, he saw Jason in his nightgown sitting on the sofa, staring at the large LCD TV screen while playing games.
“Master, you are back. Jason is playing games like crazy!” Ike rushed over and complained straight away about Jason’s conduct.
Jin Xiangdong put on a new pair of shoes before he went to the living room. Jason, who was focused on the game, didn’t give him even a glance, but he said, “h.e.l.lo, you’re back!”
It seemed as though he had really made himself at home. But this was actually commonplace to Jin Xiangdong. He glanced at him and went to the bathroom for a shower. When he came back out, Jason had just finished with the game thoroughly and leaned on the sofa. He sighed, “I have finally finished that game! Ike, my hands are numb, come and give me a ma.s.sage!”
Ike blinked its cute eyes and cast a quick glance at Jin Xiangdong before it went slowly toward Jason to give him a ma.s.sage.
Jin Xiangdong went to the bar and took a bottle of wine and poured a gla.s.s for himself. Jason said like a master, “Pour me a gla.s.s too!”
Jin Xiangdong poured another gla.s.s, went to the sofa to hand it to him.
Jason took a sip and looked to Jin Xiangdong. “I know that you don’t like extra people in your home, but allow me to avoid some trouble and find sanctuary in your home for a couple days!”
“You should face your problem directly!” Jin Xiangdong gently swirled the wine in the gla.s.s, watching the b.l.o.o.d.y wine sliding across the gla.s.s wall, like a woman in red dancing.
“Bro, that’s easier said than done!” Jason sighed.
Jin Xiangdong glanced at him. He had received a text message from Jason earlier that evening, saying that his parents had come to B City to force him into a marriage, and that he had to lie and tell them he was on a business trip.
“Uncle and Aunt have good intentions. After all, you are getting older and older. You should consider getting married!” Jin Xiangdong replied calmly.
“I’m no older than you! Bro, did you forget that you are a few months older than me?” Jason countered.
“But my family wouldn’t push me to get married!” Jin Xiangdong replied.
On hearing the words, and seeing the expression of Jin Xiangdong, Jason became sullen. He could not help but vent to Ike, “Ike, your master is so bad that n.o.body wants to marry him, isn’t he!”
“No, my master has fallen in love with someone!” Ike, who was giving a message to Jason’s hands, replied.
“Oh, is your master in love with someone?” Jason’s eyes became brighter and then turned his eyes to Jin Xiangdong.
Jin Xiangdong gave no response but took a sip of the wine gracefully.
“You are taking Lu Jia’er seriously, aren’t you!” Jason’s eyes were meaningful.
“You can live in the guest room for a day. Go back where you came from tomorrow!” Jin Xiangdong said instead of giving a straightforward answer.
“You’re apathetic to my misfortunes, aren’t you?”
after Jason listened, he couldn’t help but ask.
“Dodging is not a good idea.Talk with your parents, perhaps they will stop pus.h.i.+ng you! And marriage is good for you, it is not a bad thing!” said Jin Xiangdong.
“I don’t have any willingness to get married. If you don’t help, I will go to the company tomorrow to help you publicize that you like Professor Lu Jia’er!” Jason posed a direct threat.
“I’m going to bed!” Jin Xiangdong ignored his threats and stood up.
“Ace, I’m a man of my words!” Jason shouted.
Jin Xiangdong went into the bedroom without looking back. After seeing the door close, Jason couldn’t help but turn his head to Ike. “Ike, your master is so cold-blooded. Come to my house! I will take care of you!”
“I can take care of myself!” Ike rejected Jason’s offer directly.
