The Nethari are a race of anthropomorphic goats generally standing a head taller than humans.
This race of goat men possesses a heightened affinity for the newly introduced substance of qi or chi. This affinity allows them to consciously regulate body temperature, manipulate and generate qi to a greater degree than most human masters.
A special amino acid in their muscles allows the Nethari to exert and withstand twenty times the force human muscles can. This amino acid also contributes to heightened stamina and regeneration by a third-order factor.
Unlike humans, their metabolism is highly efficient where they can survive a year of starvation due to lack of defecation and require only a third of the human water requirements. Their cultivation masters are strong enough to subsist on qi itself, ultimately being a self-subsistent ent.i.ty.
The effect of their qi affinity results in an extended lifespan and heightened senses of touch and hearing. Though their eyesight is equal to the average human being, their heightened touch and hearing senses make them far more aware of their environment than trained killers.
Their lifespans are generally 200 years old due to the constructive and preservative effects of qi. Cultivation via condensation and manipulation of their inner qi would allow them to become stronger and live longer lives. Once they reach the self-subsistent state, they would truly become immortals with no age nor weakness.
Alas, the Nethari has not been created yet, for the creator has just returned from Falmart in her second stars.h.i.+p, the Apophis.
The living stars.h.i.+p tore into reality as its ma.s.sive figure penetrated to reals.p.a.ce. The creature exited the rift like a lizard crawling out of a crack in the wall.
Soon, the warp rift silently closed and the Apophis floated silently in the dark void. The light of any star has not reached this portion of the universe for it is located far beyond any galaxy.
The G.o.ddess of Destruction teleported herself out of Apophis and gazed upon the nothingness stretched infinitely with her violet eyes. She summoned a pair of gold hoops and twirled it with her right hand's fingers.
After rotating it several times, the creator threw the hoops into the void at impossible speeds. The law of time dilation was completely ignored by these hoops as they made their way through the empty expanse.
Soon, the hoops abruptly stopped, as if time had frozen. They floated still for a few seconds before a brilliant flash of light erupted from within them, spreading like a solar flare in all directions.
A superma.s.sive singularity formed from the gold hoops, its bright form gracing the void with the warmth of cosmic light.
The solar flares condensed as ma.s.sive pockets of superheated hydrogen gas swirl into vague spherical arrangements, gravity pulling them together. As seconds ticked by, the gases began to form into gigantic glowing orbs of immense heat.
A trillion stars lit up the endless void in a colorful array. A golden, miky sea of stars swirled within the void as gravity holds it together.
Streaks of blue decorated the inner and middle rim of this bright ocean of stars while bright clumps of red orbit the galaxy in its outer rim.
As the stars near completion, whatever fails to merge and form the big and bright stars formed into planets. Cosmic dust formed the heavier elements in the periodic table such as carbon, oxygen and transition metals.
Gravity pulled them into orbit with their star, but gravity also pulled the smaller planets towards each other, causing catastrophic collisions with one another that results with the birth of a larger, hotter ma.s.s.
As if millions of years pa.s.sed in seconds, all the ma.s.ses cooled and many stable orbits formed.
Unlike Earth's solar system, ma.s.sive comets like Pluto and Eris are non existent as they merge with larger rocky planets, orbit as natural satellites or orbit closer to their star. This results in the complete emptiness of interstellar s.p.a.ce and the non existence of rogue planets. Although comets do exist, their likelihood and maximum size is only a third of what has been observed in Earth's system.
The lack of rogue planets results in water being a more common composition and a higher ratio of planets existing within the general habitable zone.
Overall, life is thrice as likely here than on the milky way. With ten times the ma.s.s and thrice the likelihood, at least 30 planets would sp.a.w.n sentient lifeforms. Also, a significantly higher proportion of them would achieve s.p.a.ce travel before a comet or an asteroid would crash and wipe out their civilization.
In a span of thirty minutes, the pair of gold hoops transformed into a ma.s.sive galaxy, fresh and empty.

The creator returned to Apophis and commanded the living stars.h.i.+p to open a wormhole to the most radioactive planet within the galaxy.
After the command input, Apophis activates its hypersensitive tentacles to act as sensors to find the most radioactive rocky planet within the newborn sea of stars. The tendrils responded by glowing a faint, purple aura before it reached out and embedded themselves in s.p.a.ce, causing ripples in s.p.a.ce to form.
Shortly after, the ripples gradually turned intense as the tendrils released their psionic power into the material realm. Cracks began to expand from the ripples as s.p.a.ce is chaotically torn to form a wormhole.
As the fractures enlarge, the tendrils retracted themselves. Violent and chaotic bursts of energy enlarged the cracks and opened an uneven hole in s.p.a.ce. Critical ma.s.s is reached and great amounts of energy are used to maintain it for a few seconds.
In a purple flash, the stars.h.i.+p disappeared alongside the hole, leaving no trace.
Elsewhere, Apophis exited the wormhole in a faint flash of light.
It hovered over an empty, rocky planet with oceans of water and an earthlike atmosphere. If not for the zerg stars.h.i.+p's advanced bio sensors, the planet would appear no different than Earth except for its significantly larger size and lack of life. However, its sensors are reading immense amounts of ionizing radiation from its surface.
The surface radiation seems to be roughly equal too an average gamma radiation burst, while radiation levels are reduced by 10% for every 100 meters below the surface.
The ionizing radiation here would kill any lifeforms from earth except for very few species of extremophiles.
Its extremely lethal amounts of radiation comes from its white star whose energies are amplified by the mana present in the universe. It grants immortality to the star along with high ionizing radiation emissions and a yearly corona ma.s.s ejection strong enough to increase surface temperature by 5°C for a month.
The highly dangerous star makes this planet suitable for becoming the Zerg Homeworld in this universe.
Ionizing radiation would act as a catalyst to zerg evolutions by increasing the rate of new mutations. As the zerg evolve faster, new genes would be added to the evolutionary database and future evolution masters or DNA spinning zerg can work with more material.
The radiation would also act as a deterrent, preventing races with weak physical tolerance or lack of sufficient radiation s.h.i.+elds from entering the system. This can prevent the zerg homeworld from being colonized, giving the zerg a greater chance to regenerate and retaliate.
From within Apophis, the creator channeled her power and transported both the Kashuryan and Vanahim systems into this galaxy as neighboring systems.
Lightning crackled as vast cosmic storms occured within the void. s.p.a.ce was expanded to accommodate two star systems and an eleven light year gap between them. Distortions in s.p.a.ce and time became prevalent in the two cosmic storms as the walls of reality thin.
By virtue of an extremely powerful pull, the two solar systems seamlessly phased from one reality onto another, like a ghost pa.s.sing through a wall.
The process occured in a trillionth of a second, giving the illusion that nothing has transpired.
If one of them were a juvenile broodmother, their processing capabilities would've detected an extremely small and vague anomaly.
After transporting them into this universe, the creator commanded Apophis to hibernate on the planet's surface and emit psychic waves through the hivemind to allow the Swarm to locate it and the planet. The creator then set off to inform the Swarm about his current plans for them.
He went to Vanahim VII and told Praelis about their new location. He commanded her to conquer this galaxy and establish complete dominance over the galaxy as a mission. With the fanatic reverence the Swarm has towards him, he had no doubt that they would succeed and even impress him.
The creator immediately teleported away into a faraway galaxy that neighbors his first planet's galaxy. He seeks to create a race of cultivators.
After a while, the creator decides to revert to his original gender with a new incarnation. Since he'll be creating and addressing a cultivation race, he decides to get a cultivation based avatar with all those cool but sometimes arrogant names and t.i.tles. Since he's the creator of this world, he's ent.i.tled to a very lofty and divine t.i.tle.
Creating divine t.i.tles was an easy task for him, since he planned his universe long before becoming an actual ex nihilo creator.
So, he decides to name his new avatar Transcendent Hundun Immortal, the Creator of Taiji.
He will influence the Nethari to develop a similar culture and mythology to the chinese civilization, with some buddhist and tibetan buddhist influence to form a complex pantheon of G.o.ds for them.
Since most of them are dormant, inactive, the Nethari's existence will awaken several of them and influence them with their beliefs. With me influencing that, I could form a specific pantheon of G.o.ds indirectly.
With the immaterium completely silent due to the absence of sentient life, the awakening of these G.o.ds would allow the Immaterium to have at least some activity. This activity would be the result of the Nethari civilization's myths and legends manifesting in the realm of metaphysics.
Although they could not affect the Immaterium else than using belief to empower or create new beings, the activation of a portion of this unseen realm would allow the world to naturally lay the foundations of a divine system and ascension to deityhood. The unseen realm here functions similarly to the Warhammer 40K's warp, however, immaterial ent.i.ties are less reliant on thoughts to survive.
Theoretically speaking, in Warhammer 40K, the warp's denizens are influenced by the emotions and thoughts coming from the material realm's sentient lifeforms. Daemons and all sorts of creature from that psychic realm are born from the thoughts and emotions of the living, they are the manifestation of one's psyche. Since the Immaterium there is chaotic due to the widespread suffering in the galaxy, its dominant ent.i.ties are daemons and their Chaos G.o.d creators, whose essence is similar to the G.o.ds within the creator's Immaterium.
However, the same power of thought that gives birth to the warp's inhabitants can also destroy it. If one emotion becomes less prevalent, the corresponding manifestation weakens. Theoretically, they can die if a certain emotion ceases to exist even for a second.
Even if the emotion appears again afterwards, its complete removal caused the previous manifestation to perish. So, a new manifestation is born to take its place.
Unlike the warp, the creator's psychic realm does not possess certain limiting functions. Beings do not weaken due to the lack of belief and can only perish by being absorbed by another warp ent.i.ty or a psychic. The absorber will gain all the devoured ent.i.ty's abilities and power sources.
Also, the creatures of the Immaterium can transform its prey into batteries that will gradually strengthen them indefinitely instead of devouring them. This will allow them to summon these batteries into their previous forms and fight as an intelligent puppet under the absorber's absolute command. Only by devouring the puppet can one break its control.
Here, deities cannot be slain by one another, they can only be rendered in a dormant state. Their dormancies will not affect the material realm else than the inactivity of the divine system. Depending on the damage, the G.o.d in question will be inactive for a longer timespan.
Now, all it needs for this whole Immaterium system to work is active G.o.ds and beings.
But before that, he transformed himself into his Transcendent Hundun Immortal avatar.
Above the golden cloud of stars, a blob of absolute darkness manifested. The darkness was turbulent and expanding, like a violent storm. The light of distant stars dimmed in its presence and even the galaxy's light flickered in fear of the great void.
Suddenly, the darkness froze before retreating into a single, globular ma.s.s. Then, the ma.s.s of congealed darkness transformed into a vaguely humanoid form like liquid metal being poured into a cast. Quickly, the ma.s.s condensed into the avatar's form.
A handsome young man with golden eyes and long black hair appeared. He had a pair of demon horns protruding from his head and a s.h.i.+ning gold halo floating above. He wore grand black robes embroidered with golden patterns and profound, primeval runes.
A ma.s.s of pure darkness surrounded him, spreading the feeling of fear and emptiness to all who gaze upon it. Its void tendrils moved the s.p.a.ce around him as it made its way to his destination, a rocky planet the size of jupiter. Streaks of light pa.s.sed by like a hail of bullets as s.p.a.ce is distorts at superluminal speeds.
A minute later, the creator exited the tunnel of light and floated down to the planet's surface.
His arrival was silent, no molecule was disturbed by his presence. He focused his gaze upon the vast world around him.
A land of towering plateaus and fathomless valleys greeted him. Colorful qi crystals sprouted from within cracks and minor crevices, especially the deep valleys whose sole source of illumination comes from these powerful crystals. Strong wind currents blew between the gaps, forming various rivers of wind in this land of plateaus.
The sky was bright and blue with a river of clouds streaking across the sky like a ma.s.sive, white serpent. The air felt refres.h.i.+ng, containing an aromatic scent that calms and empowers.
All in all, the land was breathtaking but barren, no amount of colorful qi crystals could replicate the vibrant scenery of life. So, the creator decided to endow this world with life. Drawing on his power of absolute creation, the creator raised the sea levels from none.
Water erupted from nothingness as seas begin to form on the world. Lower leveled area sunk beneath the waves as the water levels rose like a flood. Once 69% of the world was beneath the waves, the water stopped and the seas turned peaceful.
The high gravity of this world would be unsuitable for life since many factors such as atmospheric pressure and body ma.s.s come to play. To counteract this problem, the creator manipulated the world's gravity field to slightly above earth levels. To maintain the planet's structure, a complex gravity field was established to allow earth like life to coexist with the ma.s.sive planet.
Excess energy is converted to qi, increasing its concentration by various folds in millions of different spots throughout the planet, mostly concentrated in mountains and deep caverns.
The atmospheric pressure loosened as the new gravity field took effect and the wind currents became more transparent but otherwise strong. Clouds now float higher in the sky and their numbers gradually increase as the rate of evaporation rises.
Now, the creator reached down to the ground with his right hand and imparted the gift of life to the planet. Gra.s.s suddenly sprouted and wildly grew from between his fingers. It spread throughout the plateau in mere seconds before portions of it transformed into dandelions and released airborne spores.
These spores were carried by the wind and once they land, a new patch of gra.s.s rose almost instantly. On the plateau, roots rapidly expanded underground as the plants expanded downwards. New plants detached from the main roots and clung into the plateau walls, its stem peeking out of the coa.r.s.e ground.
After a minute, shrubs and vines began to form, forming large clumps of green and dangling from the plateaus respectively. Several seconds was all that it needed to bear fruits, fruits that fall and are carried to new places to grow and prosper. Four minutes, trees started to flourish and flowers painted the world with a wonderful collection of living colors.
The land transformed into a grand paradise, much like the ones foretold by the ancieny people to be the abode of immortals. t.i.tanic spiritual mountains rose from the ground, reaching into the heavenly clouds with their snowy peaks. Clear rivers, like those of the heavens flow through winding paths between the great mountains.
Windy plateaus rich of life replaced the mountains like great pillars of heaven that held the sky. Great, botomless divides separated them, full of exotic life thriving in the dim light. The peaceful and lofty beauty of this world rivals even paradise.
Now, all it lacks are great beasts to protect and rule the lands.
Taking out his right hand from the earth, the creator summoned dragons and legendary beasts synonymous to the ones from chinese mythology. Eight eastern dragon deities from the dragon world were summoned, the creator whispered to them their task as guardians and cultivators of this world. Bringing their mates and belongings with them, the eight dragon G.o.ds established their respective nests in eight positions throughout the world.
Heavenly beasts were summoned from the abode of angels and hundreds of great magic beasts were called from the Archaic Lands. A large group of a dozen velociraptors were summoned with them, possessing intellect slightly higher than that of primitive cavemen. They were one of the first sentient beings that evolved in the Archaic lands, the first group of their kind.
With their human like minds, they searched for a place to settle and establish a permanent settlement. A great civilization will one day rise from these recently evolved beings.
In generations, they will populate the world and all the creator needs to do is observe.
Now, the Nethari. The creator envisioned their patriarch, who will become his first disciple and ultimately father the Nethari race via a seemingly overcomplicated plan the creator just made up last week.
So, he imagined a young, white Nethari with golden patterns on his skin. He had golden eyes, black hooved feet and human like hands. He is sitting in a lotus position with his eyes closed before the creator opens his own eyes.
The newborn Nethari opened his eyes to an unknown world of great rock spires and vast valleys. He was unaccustomed to the bright sunlight so he blinked his eyes to adjust. Before him, sitting on the softly swaying gra.s.s is a familiar figure not to distant from his own appearance.
Although no memories exist in his head, the young Nethari felt that he should revere this being. Thanks to his mature mind, he does not cry like a newborn and observes his new existence calmly but also curiously. Then, the lofty being before him spoke.
"I am the Transcendent Hundun Immortal, the creator of all things. You are Mithra, my first disciple, follow me and you shall wield great power. The likes of which even Immortals could never achieve."
