After watching Quincy enter his apartment, she closed her door and rest her back against the door. She placed a hand over her wildly jumping heart to calm it down.

"I must really like him for this heart to respond this way. I only get this feeling in front of my mushroom-onion-bacon-chicken combo topping large pizza."

I felt my steps were lighter now. 'What is wrong with me?', I scolded myself in my head. I picked up my phone and dropped a text in the 3 amigos' group chat.

>Me: Guess who just nailed a guy that's hotter than Chris Hemsworth?

Before I could let out a breath, my phone dinged twice

I was shocked when I realized that I had openly admitted that a man I just met was hotter than one of my many celebrity crushes.

"Flora and her excessive use of exclamation marks," I mumbled as I made my way to the kitchen to get water.

I knew granny already told the older generations of all 3 families, so I wasn't gonna tell. My mom's squeal can send one into a coma.

My mind couldn't help but wonder what Quincy was up to. Unfortunately, my corrupted mind wouldn't let me be great: Quincy in the shower, surrounded by shower steam as he lather soap all over his delicious abs, with his hand dangerously nearing his V area.

I snapped out of my imagination when I felt my cheeks beginning to heat up. "I'm too young to be this perverted," I said as I hit my head. To distract myself, I pulled out my laptop to read over recently released science articles and reviews, waiting upon the evening to arrive.
