Katherine hurriedly disappeared from the carriage, leaving a shocked Aithen sitting inside, deep in thought.

Unable to completely understand what was happening, Aithen decided to play it safe instead of making any a.s.sumptions. Finally able to go bathe, he made sure not to forget to bring a change of clothes. Aithen exited the carriage and stepped into the cool night air breathing deeply. He remembered seeing a lake fairly close to their encampment and gradually made his way over. One of the guards dressed in black was standing watch and looked over in his direction with a bored countenance. Aithen waved and gestured towards the lake. The guard nodded and turned back around, seeming to not care too much about Aithen was doing.

Arriving at the bank, with a full moon glowing brightly above, Aithen glanced down at the still water below him, catching his own reflection for the first time since he was reborn. Aithen was pretty good looking, but at such a developing age, who knew what would happen. He didn't have the light hair that many of the other n.o.bles possessed, instead he had hair similar to that of Katherine, essentially pitch black. His eyebrows were straight but not overly thick or thin. Furthermore, he had a fairly angular face with a sharp jaw and prominent cheekbones. He was half expecting to have some exotic colored eyes, like gold or purple, but he was not disappointed to see some somewhat dark hazel eyes staring back at him. However, something even more important needed to be checked!

'System, can you scan the surroundings for people that may interrupt my bathing session?'

'Thanks!' responded Aithen, as he began to strip his clothes off. 'Not bad! Not bad at all little Aithen' he thought as he gauged the size of his package. Too bad it was fairly cold so he couldn't get the most accurate judgment of what he was working with.

Dipping his toe in the lake, he shuddered. 'd.a.m.n it was cold!' he thought. Gathering up some willpower and beginning to feel the sweat dry on his skin, he forcefully made his way into the water, walking like a soldier into battle. However, once fully immersed, Aithen began to get used to the chilly temperature and thought it even felt rather refres.h.i.+ng. As he was was.h.i.+ng up, he considered the best course of action for him on his journey to the academy. He had a few quests to work with and needed to improve the state of this body tremendously. His father had told him that the journey to the academy would take them all the way to the ocean and beyond, and considering where they currently were, there were still about three months left before they even reached the ocean.

*Avenge Your Predecessor*: The old Aithen's death came as a result of the beatings from a group of five led by a guy named Lucas. Although he wasn't a great person, respect should be granted to the person's body you took over. Get revenge by causing them as much harm as possible.

Time Limit: Before we arrive at the academy.

Rewards: 50-500 points depending on the degree of completion (500 granted if all five die)

*Become Average*: Your stats are complete garbage! Find a way to train and raise all of your stats to at least 1. There is no reason to start off weaker than everyone else, and the academy will be an extremely compet.i.tive environment.

Time Limit: Before we arrive at the academy.

Rewards: 650 points for raising your physical stats to 1. Extra points can be earned if they increase even further.

*Out of This World s.e.x*: They might think you're a loser, but that does not mean you can't finesse. Go out there and make some moves. You'll be getting points for every s.e.xual activity performed, but this quest is a bonus for your first time in this world.

Time Limit: One year (365 days)

Rewards: 250 points added to whatever points you would've received from it normally.

Looking at the second quest, Aithen thought back to the bored looks on all the guards' faces. 'Hmm... I bet if I asked politely at least one of the guards would be willing to help train my swordsmans.h.i.+p.' This was important to him because he could only perform the Star Shadow Breathing training once a night, and for thirty minutes at that, so he would need another form of training to help improve his stats. Furthermore, the knight training was supposed to be most effective after intense physical exertion, which means this would be the most optimal way to raise his stats to at least one.

As for his other quests, things were a little more complicated for sure. First of all, with all the strong guards around, he can't be too outlandish with the revenge he decides to take on Lucas' group. Thankfully, he can be fairly certain that as long as he does it somewhat in secret the guards won't pursue the matter. This is because none of them had taken action when the previous Aithen had been beaten to death, so as long as his strength improves enough and he can create a good opportunity, killing those five should be very possible. Actually, thinking up to this point and looking at the forest around him, Aithen realized he had more options at hand than just purely fighting. Although he didn't know how to make poisons in this new world, making traps shouldn't be too difficult, and some dumb n.o.bles disappearing in the forest shouldn't be too suspicious.

'Well, I'd like to be a little faster and overall more athletic before I attempt anything that risky. After all, I've got plenty of time to make this work. This is only my first day here.'

As soon as the chilly wind blew by and nearly caused him to freeze on the spot, he recalled that he had come here with no towel! He complained that just as he was getting used to this new world, he has to suffer in wet clothes, but decided to let as much water drip off as possible and throw his clean clothes on. It wouldn't be too long before they dried in the air anyway. He hurried back to the carriage where he could escape the icy wind, and after finally arriving, he opened the door and jumped in without hesitation.

[Hahaha what an idiot] laughed the System as Aithen landed.

The first thing Aithen noticed was the wood of this carriage was slightly different than the one he had spent the last few hours in, letting him know that he had mistakenly hopped into the wrong place. The next was the soft sensation being molded under the palm of his hand. Slowly lifting his head, he made eye contact with a beautiful pair of brown eyes. Luckily Aithen was a quick thinker, and realizing that he had just groped a very nice pair of b.r.e.a.s.t.s, he concluded that since he was already in trouble, he might as well go for an extra squeeze. In for a dime in for a dollar. Apparently, he had jumped into a carriage other than his own just as the girl in front of him was changing clothes. Praying that he could make it out alive, Aithen jumped backward even faster than he had bounded in. Closing the door in a hurry, he had already dashed towards his carriage before hearing it slam shut. It seemed that the girl had likely been too shocked to scream or hit him. Once safely inside his own carriage, Aithen recalled the feeling of her breast in his hand. It truly was a magnificent pair, not very bouncy but incredibly soft. He also noticed a "ding" sound in his head along with a system message.

'What a wild ride! It's about time to get some well-deserved rest.' thought Aithen as he got comfortable on the floor of the carriage. He would ask the guards about some sword practice tomorrow and begin the most intense training he had attempted to undertake in either of his lives.
