"Yes..." Elizabeth mumbled to herself. She looked psychotic to a dangerous degree as she eyed the plots of formations laid down all around her group's Base Camp. But, considering the fact that Jane, Sun, and Tristan also had on faces with equally disgusting expression, all appeared to be fine.

At the moment, their little encampment had six Formations set up in different arrangements and sizes according to how useful each Spirit Vein was. Thus, the Metal Spirit Vein that could only be used by Knight stood out of the tent and took the least amount of s.p.a.ce, while the Supreme Duality Vein which could be used by all the members of Elizabeth's party took up the most s.p.a.ce, having its bounds drawn to encompa.s.s the whole area of the tent.

Sadly, being obsessive over efficiency left Elizabeth helplessly unable to join her friends as they jumped right into a "super cultivation session," as she had her Macabre Moose to attend to. Having already given away most of her Yin-Yang Dew to those that were around to receive it, Elizabeth summoned her Macabre Moose and brought it over to the Spirit Vein that housed her Necrotic Yin Spirit Vein.

There, she had the Beast lay beside her and cultivate strands of Grandmist Magic that she gradually introduced into its body as it was more than likely that the beast would need to evolve as Knight had, to be able to cultivate independently; if that was even all that bared it from cultivating independently, anyway.

All was not bad, However, as Elizabeth was still within the bounds of a cultivation-enhancing formation surrounded by a containment formation as well. She may not be able to cultivate in the best way currently available, but her current environment was still dozens if not hundreds of times better to cultivate in than the relatively thin spirit air outside.

Moreover, with her current understanding of Insight, Elizabeth didn't let herself devolve too deeply into a depression as she was overjoyed at the prospect of improving her Death and Yin affinities. They probably wouldn't upgrade in tier anytime soon as she had recently brought them up to Mediocre Tier. But there shouldn't be as much of a ha.s.sle to improve them with the understanding she had about the nature of… well, reality.

...

Sitting down within the field of overpowering Death and Yin energies, Elizabeth was surprised to find her Macabre Moose begin its own evolution process as it only felt like a couple minutes had pa.s.sed while she was under meditation. "Mhmm… I was just getting into it too..." Thinking it to be a bit of a shame, Elizabeth stood up and walked over to her room within the tent as she knew that the best course of action for now was to develop her s.p.a.ce, Time, and s.p.a.cetime cultivation. She knew that several hours had pa.s.sed as the world had darkened with night replacing the day.

Upon closing her doors and sinking back into a meditative trance, the outside world both vanished and became countless times more vibrant to her as she felt the energies in the spiritual air. Slowly Elizabeth developed her s.p.a.cetime Affinity through the Forsaken Baptism Continuum method, her father had handed down to her. With time lost all meaning to her, hours pa.s.sed as they had while she had been cultivating her Death and Yin Affinities, and eventually, Elizabeth was forced to open her eyes again.

"f.u.c.king really?! It's already been twenty-five hours?!" Unable to believe the reality that had present itself before herself, Elizabeth only slowly came to terms with how time-consuming cultivation could be. She had been awoken by the timer she had set for herself through her internal clock and the time limit she had set for the group's first visit to the Shadow Realm had ended.

Shaking her head, as she thought of raising the time limit for the next time, Elizabeth left her room. Walking out of the tent to check up on the two Tamed Beast's she had left to evolve, Elizabeth's eyebrows rose as she found both her party and her Tamed Beasts. Jane, Sun, Tristan, Yrre, and Liam were all either gathered around the evolved Sparrow or Moose. But in either case they were looking at the Beasts with a mix of wonder, intrigue, and or curiosity; they had never been recorded down as Tameable Beasts on Earth.

"Mhmm..." Elizabeth approached the now two-meter tall Knight first as it had started calling her with overflowing joy. "Master, it worked! It worked! I matured into a Flaming Gla.s.s Sparrow and I can cultivate now!" It would be an understatement to say Elizabeth was surprised by the evident increase in Knight's fluency.

After waving in acknowledgment of her friends and family, Elizabeth walked into Knight's current habitat — the Formations concentrically arranged around the Metal Spirit Vein — and took his status.

"Flaming Gla.s.s Sparrow? Second Stage of his bloodline?" Elizabeth unconsciously muttered. She quickly threw these thoughts to the back of her head as she pet Knight a couple time and left to check on her Macabre Moose. Upon entering the domain of her Necrotic Yin Spirit Vein's Formations, the Macabre Moose that had been quietly cultivating within had its eyes snap open.

Elizabeth looked at her Moose Tamed Beast with an approving look at its current form. If before it only looked slightly intimidating, now it was menacing; though Elizabeth couldn't tell if that was because of the dense Death energies that converged around it. It possessed a sleek coat of vector black fur with lightly spotted grey antlers. With a startling figure that stood three meters tall and five or so meters long, this Moose Beast would be the stuff of nightmares back on Earth.

"Master..." Apparently, the Moose could also communicate with Elizabeth through their Soulbound Contract after evolving.

"Mhmm… You are a female? Or could it just be the voice?" Elizabeth's eyes squinted as she asked. She hadn't checked this in the most direct way possible and had a.s.sumed that the Moose was male from its relatively large antlers.

"Yes, Master. I'm a female Fellkin Moose..." The Moose kept its head bowed down as it talked to Elizabeth. It took its master-slave relations.h.i.+p with her very seriously.

"Nice~ Well, do you want to name yourself, or are you going to pull a Knight and have me decided a name for you as well?"

"I wouldn't dare… Please name me, Master..." Carrying about a somber att.i.tude as it talked to Elizabeth, the "Fellkin Moose" — as it called itself — sulked onto the floor.

"Mhmm… Viktoriya? Yeah, let's go with that~" Elizabeth didn't know why but this was the name that just popped in her mind when thinking of a name for her Moose Beast. Viktoriya… The Russian equivalent to Victoria, whose meaning is that of "conqueror" or "victor." Elizabeth felt it to be odd that a Russian name had popped into her mind when she didn't usually use or even think in that language, but since it felt right to her, she just let the confusion pa.s.s.
