He asked the system about the time when this terrible headache will stop.
"Hey system, can you tell me when this headache will stop?"
[ Oh! Kid, you're still awake? I thought you'll faint again. ]
Alexander rolled his eyes and said, "Stop this chit-chat! I want to know, when will this stop?"
[ Kid you are getting c.o.c.ky?! Huh? You dare to stop me? ]
Alexander didn't want to start a fight with this system. If this system gets angry and gives him a mission to withstand this pain or greater pain for a few more days, then he'll be dead for sure. He changed his style and said respectfully, "Mr World Overlord System, can you please~ tell me, when will this headache stop? "
[ That's more like it! Now, I'll tell you, it'll stop by 7 pm. ]
Alexander was happy after knowing that he'll have to withstand this headache for only a few more hours. He decided to first exercise a bit, up to 6 pm and then head to the canteen to eat a better dinner than his favourite.
***
It was 6:30 pm when Alexander was heading to the canteen. He felt great that now he didn't have to fear about people talking to him. These new memories which were being fused with his souls slowly mutated his soul to another person.
He was neither a hardcore introvert now, nor he needed to look down at the shoes when talking to people. His daily exercise routine also added another layer of confidence to his personality.
When he reached the canteen, he found Emmy, Lucy and Elliott sitting on the corner most table. He arrived behind them and hit Elliott's head with a slap, lightly to frighten him.
As expected, Elliott jumped up from his chair in fright and turned behind while cursing, "F**k! You son of a Bit-" but he stopped on the sight of Alexander and excitedly exclaimed, "Oh! It's you, brother Alexander!"
Emmy was surprised to see Alexander, so active. She thought, "Wasn't he ill today morning?"
Alexander sat beside Elliott and said, "Brother Elliott, please order something good to eat! I am too hungry after playing video games with David, whole afternoon."
Elliott listened to him and then knocked on Alexander's head with the knuckle. "You and brother David played games all afternoon? We were being roasted by teachers in the cla.s.sroom. Why didn't you call me to join?"
Alexander didn't mind Elliott hitting him and rubbed his head to relief himself from pain, while speaking, "That b.a.s.t.a.r.d, David came on his own without informing and nagged me continuously to play!"
Emmy and Lucy who were sitting across the table were amused after listening to the referral for David, that Alexander just used.
No one from a normal family can say out those words for a n.o.ble like David Taylor from one of the top families, the Taylor family.
Emmy was afraid that if someone listens to him, they will cause trouble for him by complaining in the Alliance, thus she kicked Alexander on his leg under the table and said, "Don't just spout anything. We can't talk about n.o.bles like this. If someone listens and complains about it, you'll be in great trouble."
Elliott, on the other hand, didn't mind it as he knew about the level of brotherhood between David and Alexander. He shook his head and said, "Emmy, my darling, you don't have to worry about it. Alexander even calls him something that only David's parents call him with. I can't even name it."
"What do you call him?" Emmy asked curiously as she looked at Alexander.
Lucy who is always shy also looked at Alexander curiously.
Lives of n.o.bles were always a topic of great interest among the general public from ages. Thus Emmy and Lucy were interested in it more than anything.
Alexander giggled and took out his phone to call David while keeping it on hands-free mode.
When the call was received, Alexander said, " Little Anaconda! I am at the canteen for dinner with Brother Elliott and Sister-in-law. Join us!"
David's sound came from the other side, it was an energetic and excited voice, "Little Fatty! I am coming! That b.a.s.t.a.r.d, Elliott didn't even tell me about Sister-in-law! We are friends from more than a year now! I am coming."
Emmy's and Lucy's eyes were popping out after listening to their form of address for each other. While they were internally excited to have dinner with a handsome n.o.ble.
