"The leader skill is compatible to my link growth skill?" Cade was surprised about the skill upgrade. He had never expected it and he did not know what the leader skill can do too.

However, the skill was compatible to his link growth. Did that mean that the leader skill was somehow similar to link growth skill?

An upgrade meant that it will be a better skill and thus, Cade agreed to upgrade the skill. With his permission, the system started upgrading the skill and Cade needed to wait for bit.

As he needed to wait, Cade decided to find a spot to rest. It was noon and he did not have his lunch yet and this was a good time to rest.

The slime was a weak creature and thus, Cade did not use many of his linked equipment. He only uses the clothes equipment with the cardboard sword and s.h.i.+eld. He did not wear the body armor and gas mask.

Cade found a good spot and sat there. He took out his lunch that he had prepared before and started eating it. He did not have anything else to do other than looking around while eating.

The leader skill was gone. It was not in the list anymore and new skill was added in its place. "So, the leader skill is a one-time thing? I didn't know that there is a skill like that and this new skill…" said Cade.

"This is the skill that the powerful family frequently had," said Cade while looking at the new skill.

"So, there is some kind of condition to be met for this skill to appear?" Cade had been wondering why he cannot find the skill at the list of the item drop and it was actually hidden and he needed to do something for it to appear.

Cade did not know if it was because he learned the leader skill but he remembered that from his knowledge, there was no one from the powerful family that had recruit a monster and used them in battle.

So, the chance for them to possess the leader skill was nil. The leader skill was a good skill as they were able to recruit monsters to fight alongside them and they will surely use the skill as it will help them in fighting their opponent.

The skill simply let the user transform into the monster they had their bloodline in. Not a full transformation but half. More like the werewolf kind of transformation.

It was a really popular skill among the member of the powerful family as many of them inherited it. With the activation of the skill, not only their appearance change, their stat will undergo some changes too.

They will increase and will usually double their stats with the transformation skill. The transformation skill however, had the negative effects when used.

Due to the sudden change in their body ma.s.s, composition and everything else, once the skill was deactivated, the user's stats will get a debuff and their body will undergo pain.

The pain and debuff will continue for a while based on how long they used the skill. The one that Cade knew was that for I minute of used, the negative effect will go on for 1 day. 2 minutes for 2 days and so on.

Other than the transform skill, there was one more skill that Cade had not yet found and maybe it was hidden too. The skill that Cade meant was the soul skill similar to the skill that Jonathan had used before.

The soul skill however, was the better skill. There was no negative effect when used but the stat and amount that it can increase was dependent on the type of monster.

Taking Jonathan as example, his armored bear soul bloodline skill will increase his strength and endurance when used. That was because the armored bear was known to have high strength and endurance and they were really difficult to defeat.

Other than the transform and soul skill, Cade had also wondered if the full bloodline skill was hidden too.

"So, this is where my linked slime will be… wait, so I can put them on my storage too? That will be quite cruel to the slime," said Cade as he put the puzzle piece in his storage but he put that thought away as he did not recruit any of the slime yet and there was no need to worry about it.

After that, Cade continued killing the slime to collect the transform bloodline skill puzzle pieces.
