"Chrome… Chrome… I know this is your summer break but you still shouldn't be this lazy, wake up!"

"I just couldn't help it, seriously though, what's different today?" Adam asked as he put a piece of fried egg in his mouth…

"I just had a bad dream," Chrome answered as he quickly changed his response, "Actually, scratch that, it was a nightmare…" as he remembered all the abnormal things that took place in that distorted reality…

"Wow, it must have been quite a bad one if it scared our big boy Chrome to behaving this way," a slightly surprised expression covered Adam's face as he continued, "maybe I should be thankful for that..."

Knowing that it was just his father's nature to joke around this much, Chrome wasn't bothered by it that much as he instead enjoyed the family socializing which he had imagined how his life would be without it in that alter reality, as only then did he know how much was he missing…

As Chrome spent the whole day with his mom and dad who happened to be both on a day off, he realised that there was a lot that he missed out on as he, for once, felt that life wasn't just about staying most of the time in his room, reading or playing on his phone, fis.h.i.+ng out for empty enjoyment…

As time is usually spent fast when one used it on enjoyable thing, it didn't take long before the night came, and it was time to sleep once again…
