Abium saw a figure with black hair, and deep blue eyes walked towards his direction from the bedroom. He wore a neat brown colored s.h.i.+rt and pants and had shown a puzzled expression as he heard his own name.

"Who are you? Ho-" Abruptly Nicolaus stopped himself and instantly identified it was Abium. Nicolaus knew this guy was crafty and good at disguise.

"Ha! I thought I wouldn't be able to found you here." He breathed out a sigh of relief and soon s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the other four who stood outside with perplexed expression on their faces.

"You guys can go now," Nicolaus said while waving his hand and soon s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Abium.

Meanwhile, Abium also walked near to the wooden chair and sat then asked with a frown on his face.

"What are you doing here? Also, how did you become so strong in a few months?" Nicolaus also sat on the sofa, which placed opposite to the chair and answered what had happened after they got separated from him. As soon Nicolaus finished his explanation about how they managed to return from the pocket dimension, he took out a letter that was already unsealed and gave it to Abium.

"What is it?" Abium creased his eyebrows and asked with confusion while grabbing that letter.

"After I separated from Madam Fennelis and Umi, I directly returned to my home and simply stayed there. About ten days ago, Madam Fennelis sent me this letter and appeared they seem to have met some trouble in Keris kingdom." Nicolaus turned his expression serious and said.

'Trouble? With Umi's current strength Lady Fennelis should be able to take care of herself, right?' Abium knitted his brows and quickly started to read that unsealed letter.

"Good day, Nicolaus.

Umi and I are now in Keris Kingdom's Siverland city. But on our way, we met a troublesome enemy. I don't know anything about who this unknown enemy. It all started when we stayed in Roguedale town. The enemy began to kill normal citizens in many places and left marks like some blood-sacrificial rituals all over the place.

I thought it was some cult member's work and began to investigate along with some adventurers. Although we manage to see the killer clearly, he escaped. After some thought, we moved towards the Roguedale city lord's mansion to discuss this case directly but found out he was already dead. Only then I knew it was a trap set up by an enemy.

Surprisingly with the help of Umi's innate spell, we managed to avoid being surrounded and finally escaped from Roguedale town. After that, we directly moved towards Silverland city and thought that the place would be safe. But on the way, we finally confirmed it was a shape-s.h.i.+fting creature and somehow managed to kill it. I have a feeling someone ordered that creature to kill us. If you or Abium is free, can you guys send some help?"

As Abium read through the letter, his frown deepened.

'Shape-s.h.i.+fting creature? Are they after Umi?' Abium asked himself and, at the same time, activated the Seer's intuition spell. Soon, Abium's expression stiffened up and turned solemn.

'Seer's Intuition Spell is showing a positive reaction. That means someone is after Umi!… Ugh, if I go there to help them, the whole plan would be messed up. Wait a minute! There are in Silverland, right? Hmm, I heard that the city is under the control of a northern mage.' Abium instantly thought of a plan and s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Nicolaus then spoke.

"Nicolaus, for now, I can't go along with you to help them. But, if they didn't get out of that Silverland city, they will be safer inside." He stopped his talk as he took out 500 white gold coins, one spatial ring, and gave it to Nicolaus. "Take this ring and money, then go to Silverland quickly. Give this money to them and tell them this amount is the share of that Mithril we picked up in the undead realm. Also, stay with them and warn them not to get out at all costs." Abium said and thought about the danger of this unknown enemy while activating that Seer's intuition spell.

But to his surprise, nothing happened!

'What is the meaning of this?! Does that mean my Seer's intuition spell got nullified by the enemy?' Abium instantly made a guess and checked another two times but found out nothing happened.

'Tricky!' Abium sighed and soon s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Nicolaus and spoke with a solemn tone.

"Nicolaus, If something out of the ordinary happened, take both of them and return here at all cost."

"Okay." Noticing Abium's serious expression, Nicolaus nodded his head and quickly transferred all those white gold coins into the spatial ring then stood up. At the same time, Abium thought of something and asked with a frown.

"Why did you kill this gang leader and other members? Also, how did you know I was here?"

"I almost forgot about that. I went to your territory, and that blonde haired girl told me you went to the capital in secret. Well, from your character, I know you will be hiding here in the slums." Nicolaus said with a chuckle and continued.

"As for why I killed these guys, I want everyone to know there was a new guy here. Actually, I planned on revealing my ident.i.ty tomorrow if you hadn't shown up. Also, these guys are not some good peoples, so I just killed these pests." Nicolaus said while shaking his head.

"Ha!" Abium let out a heavy sigh and quickly thought this was an excellent opportunity to take control of this street. He silently took out his sword and gazed at Nicolaus with a bright smile.

"We need to fight for a bit. I want others to know that I'm a warrior, not a mage. Can you help me with that?" Abium asked while unsheathing his short sword from the sheath.

"Well, I also want to check my skills." Nicolaus also nodded as he picked up his helmet, armor and wore it. In the early morning, suddenly, a fight broke out in former G.o.dwin's house waking everyone up.

Both of them started parrying against each other and soon attracted the attention of everyone. Abium and Nicolaus simply used pure strength and sword skills, not the sword aura. But that was enough to destroy all the nearby areas. Bricks started to flew up from time to time from inside the building, and finally, the front entrance along with the wall got completely fell down.

Abium didn't show his full skills but simply adjusted with Nicolaus's skills and simply taught him a few moves while parring. Abium's master level sword skills were simply created for just killing. He didn't learn these moves from any academy or teachers. Most of his sword techniques he learned by battling against monsters, demons, and cult members in the past. He even created quite a few skills by copying from others.

Unlike Nicolaus's sword movements, which he had learned in elven Knight academy, Abium's sword movements were full of brutality and ruthlessness. Within a few moves, Nicolaus felt he was battling against an opponent who had been through life and death ordeals several times.

'What did he experience in the past?' Nicolaus wondered in awe and astonishment. At the same time, he got a small insight and got stunned. Instantly he stopped his own sword movement and started copying Abium's previous actions.

For the next few minutes, Nicolaus stood there with a blank expression while trying to adjusting his stance and sword positions. Meanwhile, Abium also stopped and simply watched Nicolaus's strange movements with an amusing expression on his face. Abium also went through these types of gaining insights in the past and chuckled.

These insights were precious memory for every swordsman, and for each of one's insights, one's strength would rise to another level. Soon, Nicolaus starting to use Abium's movements and started to attack him with full force. Abium didn't evade; instead, he simply parred against him and pointed out Nicolaus's mistakes from time to time.

After a few minutes, that single storied house was on the verge of crumbling down, and hundreds of peoples from that slum district watched that fight with wide gaped eyes. All of them rooted stood on the ground and soon saw Nicolaus sheathed his sword back to the Scabbed and left, leaving Abium on the street.

From the onlookers' perspective, it was like that black-haired kid won against that knight with pure sword skills. All of them saw that both of them only used the sword and didn't even use any sword aura. But the mere simply parrying caused that large house to such state made them shudder in fear. Meanwhile, Abium was pleased with these peoples' responses and quickly s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Darby.

"Darby, tell your gang members that I will be the one who is going to take over this Pine Street," Abium said with a loud voice, which was enough to reach others' ears.

"Yes, boss." Instantly, Darby understood Abium's intention and quickly responded with a bow. Abium didn't have any intention of bossing around these peoples. If Abium had left just like that, he knew others would try and fight for this leader post once they found out Nicolaus was gone already. And the one who would suffer from this most was the poor peoples and children in these slums.

After telling Darby to take care of everything in his stead, Abium didn't stay there any longer and walked towards his house, which located at the end of that Pine street. After he arrived near to his house, he glanced around the surroundings and noticed there was no one was there.

After breathing out a sigh of relief, Abium quickly took out the crossbow and placed an ordinary metal bolt while attaching the other end with a rope. After that, Abium simply pulled that trigger while aiming that crossbow up at the top of the seven-meter tall wall.

With a whoosh sound, that bolt directly penetrated on to that wall up above, and Abium started to climb up using that rope. He swiftly climbed up the city wall and breathed out a sigh of relief as he noticed there was no one patrolling.

After that, Abium silently slides down towards the other side and slowly landed on the outer side of that seven-meter tall city wall.

'Well, this is the easy way.' He muttered inwardly and quickly glanced around his surroundings.

'I also need to be wary of unknown roaming mages. The elemental fluctuation will definitely attract their attention.' Abium knew the dangers of building spell models outside and furrowed his eyebrows.

'Well, there is no better place than that Creeper's forest anyways.' Soon, Abium dashed towards the northern direction at full speed, where that Creeper's forest was located.

It took only five hours for Abium to reach that Creeper's forest. Soon, Abium saw the dense mangrove trees and Oak trees at the entrance.

As he entered the forest, he felt a creepy feeling like being stared at by some venomous creature from the surrounding woods.

But Abium simply cast those feelings away and entered deeper into the forest. After he walked inside for another three hours, he finally found a simple cave that was surrounded by shrubs.

'Heh, this place looks pretty safe!' With a nod, Abium walked inside that small cave and started removing those shrubs inside. After an hour of cleaning, he made a large door using the three branches and completely blocked that entrance of that cave. After he confirmed there were no dangers nearby, Abium quietly picked up that spell book and started to think.

'Which spell do I need most now? Teleport? Nah! I have that 'blink spell,' and it is handy. Mirage's corresponding spell? Although it was good, still, I need something that could bind the opponent like dark bind when releasing an attack spell.' With an understanding nod, Abium quickly started searching for dark bind's corresponding spells. He soon found there were a total of three first-tier corresponding spells in the spellbook and began to read.

"Dark zone: Once the opponent entered inside the dark zone, the opponent will temporarily lose his sight. Total number of rune letters: 200

Mind freeze: This spell can cause an opponent's thoughts to become clouded for 5 seconds and make them lose the ability to make the correct decisions. Total number of rune letters:195

Shadow snakes: Once you cast this spell, all the shadows near to your surroundings would turn into snakes in the form of shadows and will obey the user's command. Caution: Using this spell during the night will be less effective. The total number of rune letters: 220."

As Abium checked those descriptions, Abium instantly rejected that shadow snakes spell.

'Dark zone and Mind freeze. Both seem to be pretty interesting.' Abium glanced at those two spells for another five-second and quickly chose mind freeze spell.

Because this spell could become much useful for Abium when using sneak attacks on the opponents.

Without any hesitation, Abium started to construct the spell model inside his mind.

At the same time, outside that cave, a mixture of black and white fog started to gather and formed into a transparent figure of a naked young woman with white eyes, black hair. Her whole body was like a fog, that figure floated a few feet up to about the ground while curiously looking at the blocked entrance.

Suddenly her face appeared puzzled, and soon she dashed towards the northern side deep into the woods.

Meanwhile, Abium simply started to inscribe the first runic letter inside his mind and entered into a deep state. Same as last time, Abium started to inscribe those rune letters one by one with deep concentration.

On 21st March, Midnight around 1 A.M, Creeper's forest.

Suddenly, dense darkness elements started to gather inside that small blocked cave and started entering into Abium's body. Inside Abium's mind, he saw a black crystalline spell model similar to the size of first-tier fireball spell model floating. Soon, that spell model started to merge with that dark bind spell and began to s.h.i.+ne.

After a few seconds, Abium felt the connection between the spell model became stable and also felt his understanding of dark elements became higher. He now knew how the spell could stop an opponent's thinking ability for a few seconds and make them enter into a confused state.

As the darkness elements completely absorbed into his body, Abium slowly opened his amber eyes, but abruptly froze.

Because what he saw in front of him was a transparent naked lady with black hair and white crystalline eyes smiling at him with a crazy look on her face!
