Abium stored those remaining books into the spatial ring and moved towards the throne room. On the way, he walked past the treasury and found nothing but piles of dust. So he continued to walk further towards the great hall. The great hall resided in the heart of the castle. Once he opened the ma.s.sive door, his jaws dropped.

An enormous room appeared on his sight. He observed that hall and a.s.sumed it could hold at least a thousand peoples inside. While he was fascinated at the marvelous building, he noticed something unusual and froze on the spot. A scene appeared in front of him and caused chills went down to his spines.

He suddenly s.h.i.+vers all over; also, his body seemed strangled due to fear.

He saw an enormous transparent crystal placed at the center. Inside the heart of that crystal, an abnormal being which neither resembled devil or demons stood frozen.

It gave off an ominous aura around its body. With a single glance, Abium felt that being was born to destroy everything and contaminate the whole world.

Its mere presence caused him to feel like an insect. He peered into its eye and suddenly froze. This time not because of fear but due he heard a call from that being.

'Come closer, child! If you release me, then I will make you the king of this world!'

A tempting girlish voice came near his ears. It told Abium to get closer near that crystal. But abruptly, a small electric current pa.s.sed all over his body.

Next second, he snapped out of it and became more alert towards that being.

He continuously observed that surrounding and noticed, encircling that being were a total of 6 elven mages. But all their actions told Abium that they used some forbidden spell to seal themselves with that creature.

He first thought something catastrophe occurred inside this city; now, this confirmed his doubt. However, he got no evidence where that creature came from and what that creature was? It seems like it appeared out of nowhere. He shook those thoughts and took a few steps away from that enormous crystal. Soon he s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the throne.

A golden rug runs from the throne down the center and loops back from both left and right while guidon banners with golden crowns dangle gently from the walls.

Between each flag, some of them have lit and in turn, illuminate the wall paintings of powerful creatures below them.

Broad, washed gla.s.s windows concealed by draperies colored the same color as the banners. The screens have decorated with ornamented borders and intricate embroidery.

He was overwhelmed by the throne. In childhood days, he fantasized about becoming a monarch and about ruling over a kingdom.

But now the throne appeared in front of him. So he would never miss that opportunity. He slowly walked towards the throne and stood near that throne while grinned foolishly.

He took a deep breath and sat on the throne. A sudden tremor appeared all over the great hall.

'Now what?' He narrowed his eyes in annoyance and tried to get up. But he found his body stuck to the throne. Soon some magic letters emerged from that throne then crawled towards his body. He felt something invisible power bounded him whole with that throne. He tried to move his finger a little, but it was futile.

Slowly the throne began to rose from the ground. It floated one meter above the ground. On the other hand, that enormous crystal and that evil creature and other mages drifted towards his direction. No! It moved preciously towards the throne. He felt afraid. Fear appeared in his heart. He continuously attempted to leave from the throne, but it's was still no use.

His palms went sweaty, and the adrenaline coursing through his system was shutting down his ability to think logically.

Slowly throne began to elevate off higher once again and moved closer towards that crystal!

He noticed there was only a 50-meters away from that crystal. Suddenly inside the hall, the temperature began to fall, and slowly a small portal appeared in the front of him. That portal started to grow in size bigger and almost seemed like a ma.s.sive black hole.

Then that crystal moved from there and got sucked into that portal. That portal remained there for a few seconds and slowly vanished from there. Abium stared dumbly at the place and noticed once again that the throne moved. This time that throne began to descend to its original position, which made Abium relaxed a bit.

Cold sweat began to appear around his temples. He was deeply frightened when this throne went towards that crystal. He relieved somehow he got away from this incident without anyone noticing him.

Wiping his sweats away, he began to think what to do next. He didn't want to stay here in this creepy tower anymore. But, when he s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the exit, he once again froze. He noticed someone remained standing in the hallway. Once he saw the appearance of that figure, the first thought that came to his mind was Dryad.

She was a dryad with bright green eyes and rosy complexion in spring. If one looks at her skin closely, one will notice it vaguely appears similar to the bark of a tree. Abium braced himself and didn't know what to do in this situation. He felt like a kid caught doing something wrong. Finally noticed the invisible force also disappeared, and he first thought of greeting her.

"G-Greetings, m-miss! H-How m-may I help you?" he got up from the throne and moved towards her restlessly and stuttered.

But Within a moment, she stood near his side. Abium instantly took out his sword and stared warily at her. Because he knew that she was not an ordinary dryad the second she moved and he guessed she might be least beyond mid-tier mage. Moreover, she didn't use an elemental spell; instead, she used some strange magic which he doesn't even recognize.

"Don't worry! Kid, I got surprised when seeing a human here inside this tower, Hey! Don't look scared! I have no intention of harming you."

She chucked at his behavior and continued.

"My name is Azolla, the spirit of this Star Tower. I saw you entering inside this tower, so I follow you stealthily, but you are one mysterious reckless kid!"

"Miss, I am not a kid," he grumbled.

"Hha funny kid, okay! I have some questions in my mind; how did you activate that throne? Besides royal family members, no one can activate, but here you are!" she suddenly stopped her speech and begun thinking for a bit.

Azolla narrowed her eyes, then grabbed his neck and dashed towards outside the castle at a fast pace. Meanwhile, Abium almost lost his calm, and his face went pale. He couldn't breathe, also due to the momentum, he nearly choked.

Once Azolla entered a particular distance away from that castle, she snapped her fingers. Suddenly, their surroundings began to change. Furthermore, his head begins to appear woozy.

That was the side effects of teleportation due to his frail physique. When he recovered his senses, Abium noticed both were in a large room. He slowly looked at the surroundings and finally guessed they were on the top floor of that ancient tower.

This change happened too swift he doesn't know what to do next. After thinking for a second, he introduced himself to Azolla.

"Miss Azolla, my name is Abium. I came from the Peral kingdom, and I work as a servant of the n.o.ble family. Due to some circ.u.mstances, I ran into the woods became lost. while I am seeking for a way to get out, I noticed the tow-"

Suddenly she raised her hand, which made him stop his talking, and she muttered.

"Okay, kid, I don't bother about your history, so answer my questions. Okay?"

She asked towards him like a mom scolding her son. Abium repeatedly nodded his head and silently stood there while Azolla continued.

"You activate that throne kid. That means you must be a person from Royal bloodline. Let's see, Oh? Umm? Results showed you have little Elven royal blood in your body; moreover, have some...!"

While Azolla was muttering, she abruptly froze for a sec, and her eye stood wide open. Her spirit form dispelled and reappeared a few meters away from him and stared vigilantly. She slowly began to move backward and appeared to be confused.

There was a sudden alarm in Azolla's face, and she continuously stared at him for a long moment then let out a sigh of relief. She instantly started to shout in front of him.

"Kid! you hold something inside your body which will make even G.o.ds to jealousy, aren't you some servant of a n.o.ble house? Then how the h.e.l.l you have some divinity in your body!? Tell me. Humph!"

Abium scratched his head and thought that divinity might come from that bracelet. He suddenly thought, could he explain to her about how he got that divine power? Abium instantly disagreed that idea because he knew nothing about this Dryad except the name and her origin.

"Oh? You appear to be already aware of this, and this makes me wonder who you are? Are you a child of some G.o.d? It must be, other than that; there is no possible answer. Still, the remaining blood in your body reveals you also have human blood."

His mind went blank for a second, how the h.e.l.l did she a.s.sume that he was the son of a G.o.d? He needs to clear this misunderstanding; otherwise, she might take it to a different level.

"Miss, I am not any G.o.d's son; however, I obtained a legacy of a G.o.d in a dungeon raid. Perhaps I got that G.o.d's divinity from that legacy."

Azolla nodded her head and agreed that possibility. She once again came closer and said.

"Now, I am very much curious about you, kid! I got bored because I remain in this G.o.d d.a.m.n place for over 10000 years. Finally, I completed my mission. You are the first visitor to come here after a long period to this place. Welcome to the Star tower! kid."

She glanced at him, curiously and spoke with a warm smile on her face.
