Infinite Adventure 26 Chapter 24 - Dueling Demon Sora

An hour later, Sora and Robin arrived at a large open s.p.a.ce. At this point in time the area was filled with people. These people were all standing around watching something that Sora couldn't see.

Sora: "Robin what're they watching?"

Robin quickly used her devil fruit power, the flower fruit to sprout a small eye on a stranger who was towards the front of the crowds clothes. "It seems they are watching a duel, Sora." She replied after seeing the scene.

Sora: "Perfect, thanks! I can't wait for it to end so I can step up!"

BANG!

A gunshot followed his words, immediately followed by thump. The thump was obviously the sound of the body of the loser hitting the ground. Sora and Robin immediately pushed their way through the crowd and saw a tall man fully dressed like a cowboy standing proudly.

Sora: "Hey, you!"

???: "What'd ya want?"

Sora: "I'm here to duel you!"

???: "Boy, run back home to your mommy and get some milk. I, Rayk, thank ye kindly for the suggestion, but I don't pick on children."

Sora: "Okay, Rayk, what do I have to do to duel you?"

Rayk: "I'll tell ya what. If ye can survive 5 duels, I'll take you on, pardner. I'm the best at quickdrawing this here island, though, so if ya win make it ya best wish your girlie goodbye."

Sora: "Alright! 5 people who don't need their lives anymore step up! We're gonna duel!"

Soras challenge angered quite a few people, so there were 5 men already ready to go before he finished his announcement. Even more were trying to fist fight for a spot.

Sora accepted everyone who wanted to duel him. He was just here to duel for fun, and a bunch would probably be scared off soon anyway. One of the men he selected randomly soon back to back with him.

Sora: "So what're the exact rules?"

After Sora knew the rules they began to take their 10 paces while Rayk counted.

Rayk: "One...Two..."

Sora began to casually walk while the other guy held his hand above his revolver.

Rayk: "Seven...Eight..."

The crowd began to jeer at Sora. They thought he was a fool who was in over his head. They thought he didn't know the consequences of losing: death. They thought he was simply an arrogant idiot with no fear of death. Some even began to try and talk to Robin. Her man would be dead soon anyway.

Robin on the other hand had full confidence in Sora. Although she had never seen his abilities, Tori had told her about how amazing he was, and he had a 273 million berry bounty. How could a pirate with such a bounty be weak? At least in the first half of the Grand Line he should be unstoppable.

Rayk: "Ten!"

As soon as Rayk counted the tenth step, Sora quickly turned around whilst sliding Celeste out of her holster, his movements too quick for any normal person to register. He had plenty of time as he turned and noticed the other guy was still in the midsts of turning around. His own revolver wasn't even full out of it's holster. 'What a garbage quickdraw' he thought, then shot the man in the back of the head.

Silence reigned after the body hit the floor. n.o.body there had seen Sora's movements. Not even Rayk, the apparent best. Cold sweat flowed down his back as he thought of how he accepted his challenge before. If he really dueled him, he would die without even having the chance to resist. Could he dodge? No!

Everyone else who had previously accepted Soras challenge had the same thoughts running through their heads. They didn't actually want to die! Several men began to creep away slowly. They hoped he wouldn't notice them. The men that had been trying to get Robins attention all felt like they were already dead. That kind of man wasn't something they could handle!

Sora grinned seeing the fear on all the mens eyes. "Where are you going? We haven't dueled yet!" He laughed when he noticed a few men trying to sneak away. He especially looked at the ones who had attempted to flirt with Robin. He then proceeded to gather those men.

Sora: "We're dueling!"

Those gathered men were forced to duel Sora, and of course they tried to run instead. Each time Sora would leisurely take his ten paces before shooting them in the back. Although, he didn't kill any of them, but he felt like he should punish those that looked down on him so much. He was kind enough not to just start a ma.s.sacre. This would probably raise his bounty a little though.

Soon Sora had punished everyone and he looked at Rayk.

Rayk: "I- I don't want any trouble!"

Seeing Rayk so scared, Sora just shook his head and grabbed Robins hand, walking away. 'Cowards are no fun. Ah, come to think of it, I was a coward in my previous life, wasn't I?' He thought.

Robin: "Did you have fun, Sora?"

Sora: "It was alright. The first duel was fun, but the rest of the time was me teaching those guys a lesson. It's a shame. Ah, well let's go back to the s.h.i.+p for the night. Celeste, Trishula you can be humans again."

With that, Celeste and Trishula appeared in their human form. Celeste quickly grabbed Soras free left hand, while Trishula forced Robins hand away from his right and grabbed it herself. Robin easily accepted it because Trishula was too cute. She tried grabbing her other hand, only to get a threatening look.

Celeste: "Trishula only likes Master!"

Robin nodded and tried to hold Celeste's hand this time, only to get the same result.

Trishula: "Celeste only likes Master!"

Robin nodded her head slowly. Depressed that these little girls didn't like her. 'I will make them like me no matter what!' She vowed to herself with a determined look and followed behind Sora.
