"Fin, what's with the hurry? Is it really important? I still have more important matter to deal with. Go and tell the CEO I won't go, period." Ash stated with pure sincerity in her eyes to be precise.

Fin looked surprise because of the VP's actions. He hesitated but then, he still insisted.

"Mr. Gin will be upset. You wouldn't want to ruin his good temper Miss. San. This is an important matter."

She crosses her arms and speaks wearing a poker face. "I'll ruin his good temper? An important matter you say? Tch! Are you threatening me, Fin?"

"Mr. Han, don't insist anymore. I'll go talk to the CEO in behalf of Miss. San. She's not in a good condition right now. I hope you understand." Dai, apologetically convinced the Gin's a.s.sistant.

"Fine, you better explain well to the so-called moody guy of this company." With that, Dai and Fin abandoned Ash in her office.

Ash, does not know what to do. She pull herself together and seated in her swivel chair, leaning at the table while folding both her hands. "This isn't happening. How could she attempt to be friends with me when she knows the rules. Have she gone insane?" She asked herself worried.

She packed up all her things and went out of her office as soon as possible. During the time of her walks towards the parking lot, she couldn't resist from thinking all the things she have known just by these moments.

"I should get home and take some rest. I can't afford to think and be like this for the meantime. " She opened her car's door and stepped at the starting pedal of it as if she is being chased by dreadful thieves.

"Mr. Gin, I solemnly apologised for this happening. I think Miss. San have gone home. She's not in the goo--." Dai's words were cut off when Gin's hand slammed his table, which caused a loud slamming noise. Fin and Dai were both surprised and frozen to their positions at the same time.

"I told you to bring her here, Fin! But instead you bring this girl here? Are you stupid? Do you know the cost of what the both of you doing here by now?" Gin burst in anger. He's clenching his fists and he looks like as much as a deadly beast can ever be.

"M-Mr. Gin, please calm down." His a.s.sistant is stuttering in nervous and fear.

"A very important matter is on the risk! A very important matter, do you understand? Now tell me, how am I suppose to calm down, huh? Tell me." He now went to the gla.s.s window of his office leaning against it. The whole city is clearly visible and stunning to see right in his position.

"Mr. Gin, Miss. Ash is not in good condition. She's sick. I'll bring her to your office as soon as possible I a.s.sure you, sir." Dai is tearingly asking her boss for a total favour he can do, at least.

The beauty of the city which light up the wholesome visual of the CEO seems to calm him down. He now speak in a normal tone. "Fine, bring her tomorrow in my office, or else I'll summon her myself."

"Yes, sir!" Dai and Fin answered in relief. By then, they walked out of the CEO's office. While walking down the aisle, Ash's secretary couldn't avoid to ask Fin. "What's happening? Why is the CEO acting that way? Do you have any idea?"

"Mr. Gin knows those two persons who are involved in the gossips for sure. Though, I don't have any idea who are they. But my guts are telling me Miss. Ash has something to do with it. So, now shut your silly mouth and make sure bring her tomorrow in Boss's front." After spilling out those words, he went through the elevator and left Secretary Yang, clueless.

Ash speed up her car more. "Argh, this is so frustrating!" she muttered irritated.

She reached her home late already for she were again caught up with the traffic. It made her more irritated. After she parked her car, she shut their front door forcefully.

"Dear, what happened?" Her mother's face appears to be worried about her so much and shocked, as well. She, just walked pa.s.s on her mother without even bothering for staring her. Every steps she takes way through her room, makes her even more weak.

When she reached her room, she threw herself in her soft, black and purple coloured bed. Not to mention, her room is manimalisted by black and purple colours which were chosen by her.

"What should I do? Should I risk my career for this? Or should I end our friends.h.i.+p?" Total devastation is visible in her face. She looks very tired and by that, she fall asleep so sudden.

"Nooo!!" Ash suddenly screamed as a result of her nightmare.

"Gosh dear, you startled me. Was it a bad dream again?" Her mother asked her who is sitting beside her, caressing her hair and back so gently.

"Mom, it is indeed a bad dream. A very bad dream!" She said in tears. She rested her head on her mother's shoulder, hugging her at the same time.

"C'mon dear, don't think about it too much. It's just a nightmare. It's not true." Sei, give her daughter a sweet smile of consolation. Ash lifted her head and smiled back at her mom, stretching her arms while yawning.

"Thank you, mom. I'll believe what you said. For my twenty-three years of my existence, I haven't witnessed any of my nightmare coming true. Haha." she ragged out, laughing so hard as if it is really funny.

However, her face turned into a sorrowful look. "Mom?" She called out her mom while walking towards her window. "Yes, dear?" Her mother, stand beside her, waiting for the words she's going to spill out.

From standing in front of her window, Ash feels the cold breeze of the wind as if it is giving her comfort and courage. She lifted her chin and let out a big deep sigh. "I'm going to end everything between me and my bestfriend, mom." She managed to stay still in her position even though, her knees already softened.

Sei was very astonished. She suddenly grabbed her daughter and hugged it so tight. "What's the problem? Why are you doing such an impulsive act? Tell me my daughter. Is it all about the issue?" Her mother's eyes stared directly into hers full of confusion.

"So, you already know about it mom. Though, yes it is because the issue. And, because she is... sigh, nevermind." Then, she holds her mothers cheeks and gave her a nod saying, "Trust me mom, everything's gonna be okay."

"I know who is she and so your father." Now, Ash and Sei is looking amazed while staring at the fireworks firing up at the peaceful sky of the night.

"Wait for me bes.h.i.+e, I am coming. We will make sure Nam will not take what's for you. We owe your father once, now we must help him out." Nish said packing her things accordingly to what she will be needing for her trip.

"Alright, dear do not stress yourself anymore. Just follow your guts for it will guide you to the things you really are meant for." Ash's mother said with deep meaning within her words.

Ash walked through her door ignoring what her mother said. "C'mon mom, I'll cook for dinner, I am hungry now." And then, she walks down the stairs wiping her tears as a result of heartache. "I just met her so sudden yet I kinda feel so close to her that I am even in tears now." She calmed herself and went totally down the stairs taking her paces slowly down to the kitchen's aisle.

"I cannot let these fake tears to change my decision."
