In the south-most part of the country. As close to the equator as you can get on a lump of earth floating in the middle of the sea that wasn't near it in any way. People travel from all over to enjoy the blazing heat with the clearest sea the country had to offer.

"It's really hot," Ethan said as he jumped down next to Owen who was under a beach umbrella, guarding all the clothes and towels.

"Sure is. That's why it's so busy."

"But the fact that we get to see all the girls in their swimsuits again… it truly is something." Ethan said as he scanned the whole beach locating and identifying everyone like a robot with access to a database of every person ever born.

"Stop being creepy."

Owen and Ethan had nothing to do but sit next to each other. Everyone else was having fun in the sea. Matt, Sean and Lily were all splas.h.i.+ng about making sandcastles. Claire and Simon were actually flirting with each other whilst Ruby and Kaylee dragged Bella into the ocean and started playfully drowning her by stealing her pink inflatable shark.

"I'm just happy to be in the heat," Owen said even though he was wearing an unzipped hoodie.

"Are you not hot in that?"

"Of course not." He said, "The unzipped hoodie is a cla.s.sic beach look. Wearing an unzipped hoodie instead of a s.h.i.+rt is always a good look on anyone."

"Right…" Ethan said as they ran out of conversation topics.

"Do you guys want to go into the sea?" After several minutes of sitting in silence, an exhausted Bella emerged from the sea and collapsed next to Owen with her face in the sand.

"I don't mind looking after it…" She said slightly lifting her head so she could speak.

"Hmmm," Owen said in deep thought looking at Kaylee and Ruby who were splas.h.i.+ng about as some random guy slowly drifted towards them. "I guess I'll go."

"Great. I'll stay here." Ethan shouted as he poked the dead body of his sister.

Owen slowly moved through the sea on Bella's inflatable shark whilst watching the person that was approaching. He looked slightly older than Owen himself and clearly worked out a lot.

"So are you girls with anyone?" The man asked.

"Yes… we are with our friends. They are somewhere around." Kaylee said pus.h.i.+ng Ruby behind her. "Thanks for asking though. We'll be on our way now."

"You don't have to hurry so quickly." The man said. "I like your hair. Is it dyed?"

"Y-yes…" Ruby replied sinking into the water.

"That's cool. Why don't you come with us and we can play over there."

The man persistently grabbed Ruby by the arm and was about to drag her away whilst Kaylee failed to stop him. He only stopped when a shark bit his arm.

"CHOMP!" Owen said as he amusingly drifted in between the two of them.

"Sorry dude… these two are with me."

Owen's burst of confidence was hidden behind his nonchalant expression. The man looked at him in confusion but couldn't question it as the girls weren't complaining. He was scared of a man who showed no fear in his face and was riding a pink shark. He slowly walked away looking back at the person he just lost to. A guy with s.h.a.ggy hair and loose gla.s.ses but a surprisingly defined body.

"Thanks for that." Kaylee was the first to say.

"No problem. Now I just need to do something to get rid of this adrenaline."

Owen left without speaking anymore and paddled around to check up on Sean, Lily and Matt.

Kaylee turned to Ruby whose face was indistinguishable from her hair.

"Are you ok," Kaylee asked, trying not to tease her.

"Uh-huh." She said staring at Owen with glistening eyes who got knocked off his shark by a giant wave that snuck up on him.

"What a great day," Ethan said with them all around a dinner table in one of the hotels many all-inclusive restaurants.

"It was a lot of fun," Lily said stuffing her face to regain her energy after a day of playing.

"I agree." Sean and Matt said doing the same.

"What's the plan for tomorrow?" Kaylee asked.

"Ah!" Claire remembered. "About that… I kinda have plans with Simon. We kinda want to do something, just the two of us."

"WHAT A GREAT IDEA!" Kaylee re-interrupted taking back her stage. "Why don't we all go into groups and do whatever the other person wants. We can do the couples, Simon and Claire, Lily and Sean. They can do what they want whilst Owen and Ruby do what they want."

"What about us?" Ethan said.

"Me and you can do something," Kaylee responded with ease.

"I guess that means it's me and you Bella," Matt said with a full mouth. "Don't worry, I know tons of fun stuff we can do."

"I look forward to it." She said respecting Matt as she had no reason to hate him, yet.
