The 70th Awakened 19 The Unique Antelope

The Metaboyz started raining h.e.l.lfire on the creatures. Making them all go alert and charging them down.

Allen was hunkering down behind one of the artificial barriers, and shouted thought the noise towards Aaron, "So when is it my turn!?"

"Just hold on for a little while, we are trying to clear a path for you!"

A ma.s.sive mech-turret suddenly erupted from the ground with three individual turrets locking onto enemies. It looked like three M134 Miniguns where attached onto it and fired blue lasers.

Allen was mesmerized by this awesome piece of technology, but it receded back into the ground after a while. It seemed to only attack the creatures close by. Probably used as a surprise tactic.

Allen saw an odd container and decided to check it out to, stave of the boredom.

It opens automatically to reveal something like an auto magazine filler.

He heard Aaron shout in the background, "Here reload this cartridge so long."

He tosses a ma.s.sive magazine at Allen's feet. Allen picked it up and placed it onto the case. In seconds the new cartridge was filled.

Allen took the now refilled magazine and found it was really unnecessarily heavy. He grunted to get it to Aaron.

This gave Allen an idea, but he had to make sure, "Aren't normal projectiles made useless because of the innate protection in all-natural living beings?!"

"Yeah, but the rounds are laced with dark matter, so that they can punch through lesser innate barrier."

It was as he thought. He went back towards the case and got himself a few rounds. The rounds were huge. It looked more like a 30mm artillery sh.e.l.l than anything else. He also happened to find a belt capable of housing the sh.e.l.ls. He also added some modification to his clothes through the interfacer, so that the sh.e.l.l belts could remain in place.

They were still b.l.o.o.d.y unwieldy, though. Man, he envied the ma.s.sive mech-armors the androids got to wear, but he knew that it would only hamper him in the confrontation. He still impressed by its mobility though. They were moving as natural as they would move in any piece of clothing.

The fight raged on with nothing really happening so he decided to test his theory. He wasn't able to wield the ma.s.sive hand-held cannons that the androids were able to use without manipulation boosts. It was too tiring.

His idea was to use his unique form of manipulation to propel the rounds, as instant added offense. He just had a gut felling that everything about this felt wrong. Like the creatures were hiding what they were truly capable of. They claimed that the main beast at the back was the real threat, but still it all felt off. So, he needed extra insurance even if it was a distraction.

He added his ability to the sh.e.l.l and sends it off zipping towards the incoming creatures. The bullet traveled at Mach 6 towards his intended target but to his dismay hit nothing but the ground in front of the creature.

Allen scowled as he looked at the creature who, in turn, looked like it was snickering. KChing! Allen started pelting the sh.e.l.ls into the mob of creatures hoping to at least hit something. To his surprise he was able to completely eviscerate some of the creatures. He jumped up doing a fist pump. It wasn't accurate but it was absolutely devastating.

Aaron shouts of next to him, "We are going to clear a path for you, now. You will have a small window of time so move as fast as you can through them!". Aaron handed over a small device to Allen, "This is a camo device. Due to your nature it will lose a lot of its efficacy, but is should be effective enough to give you a straight shot to the big croc in the back!"

Allen pressed the small holo b.u.t.ton on it as he became slightly more transparent. If he moved fast enough, he wouldn't be recognizable.

Aaron turned towards one of the female androids in his team, "Charge the Ion cannon."

She nods and ran back to something covered in a tarmac, removing it to reveal a ma.s.sive cannon like device. The female android brought up a holo where she started to charge the cannon.

Allen on the other hand created a bunch of cylindrical devices on his back, getting ready for his boost through the path they were about to create. Allen shouted out, "Why not do this from the beginning!?"

"We needed to thin out the herd. If there are too many in the way of the Ion cannon it would punch through them all. The Ion cannon take too long to recharge so we have only a one chance shot!"

A ma.s.sive purple beam blasted out of the cannon, cleaving a path right through the ma.s.s of creatures. Allen immediately boosted through the no cleared path. Thanks to the camo device it went surprisingly smooth. The device malfunction and burned out as Allen pa.s.sed the horde.

All that was left was him and the mighty Antelope thing, "Interface what is that thing."

The interfacer spoke up, "Unknown, new form of creature. A more in-depth a.n.a.lysis is required."

Allen smirked at the comment. He knew it, everything about this felt off to him, but in the end, someone had to safe the people and he was the only being in the area who was capable of that.

Allen charges towards his target using boosts. He was traveling at 120km an hour (About 75 miles an hour) towards the three A rank beasts. All three of them instinctively produced barriers. Allen increased his speed using his propel method that boosted him towards the barriers at Mach 10.

He also activated a Null s.h.i.+eld. His null s.h.i.+eld was much stronger than their barrier. Allen punched straight through the barrier and eviscerated the one creature like a hot knife through b.u.t.ter. Allen stopped himself using his abilities. He charges the two reaming creatures down and punched in a straight direction, going though its barrier and crus.h.i.+ng its head.

The other creature jumped towards Allen who only twisted on the spot and back-handed the creature as hard as he could with his sphere fists. It nearly decapitated the creature as it got almost instantly killed.

Allen made a small kung-fu jig, Bruce Lee style, "Good warmup, now for the main course. Come her you b.i.t.c.h. Come meet your daddy."

Aaron was looking in the distance at him, shocked. So, that was a SS threat level eliminator.

The Antelope roared into his general direction. Allen waved his face in front of his nose, "Ever heard of tic-tacs?"

A ma.s.sive ball of energy formed in the creature's mouth. Allen barely had time to react as he produced a null-s.h.i.+eld. A ma.s.sive half sphere white projectile traveled towards Allen. Allen produced a proper s.h.i.+eld as it got disintegrated, instantly. This made Allen weary. He needed to avoid that blast. Luckily his barrier was strong enough. The basically cancelled each other out.

The creature charged towards Allen this time and bit in his general direction. Allen shook his head. It's still a beast it moved in a predictable pattern. Allen gently jumped high into the air, and twisted in the air. He covered his fists in spheres and punched downwards with all his might. The punch connected the Antelope on top of its head sending the creature cras.h.i.+ng into the ground with so much force it sent out shock waves, debris and dust.

An unexpected blast shot out of the dust cloud towards Allen. Allen was too late too see it coming as and got hit by it. It sent him higher, but luckily hi was in the air already reducing the impact at least a bit. Blood was trickling out the side of his mouth.

Allen activated his ability to slow his descend right before impact. His wind was knocked out and he felt a lot of pain in his body.

The creature itself struggles to get to its feet.

Allen instantly created a large transparent black dome over the creature, while using his crus.h.i.+ng ability to keep the creature in place.

Allen blasted forwards at Mach 10 instantly releasing the dome to deliver a powerful strike against the creature sending a ma.s.sive shock-wave outward.

The shock was even felt by Aaron and company. This hurt the beast pretty badly. It stood up shakily. Allen explodes yet again but this time something ma.s.sive intercepted his attack. Another shock-wave goes outwards.

Everything went quiet for a sec as Allen looked into the red eyes of an even bigger creature. It looked like the antelope he was, fighting only different. It had a reptilian skin rather than a fur like skin like the other antelope.

It looked like shards broke off right at the point of impact that suggested that it activated a barrier of some sort. A very powerful barrier.

Allen frowned. This was going to become more then what he bargained for.
