"You have done well Thomas, even though I was not expecting you to bring back two prospects from that small towns.h.i.+p." the dean told the mystic before gesturing for Thomas to stand up in attention once more.

"Hearing you explain these two outside, I have decided to waver the one year test for this little girl here and to fully accept both of these children as students. However, you two should not take my decision lightly, I have only just received news that even our academy must take seriously."

"Every once in a while, our city Bitter Falls throws two different tournaments for children between the ages of ten and thirteen. The tournament our Griffin Academy is interested in, is of course the one for experts walking the path of the mystic."

Waving his hand, the dean suddenly disappeared once more into a ball of flames. Thomas took this as being dismissed and led the two out of the room. From beginning to end, Lance was absolutely blown away from seeing such a powerful individual in front of him for the first time.

Although the dean was only a 6th rank mystic, he completely outcla.s.sed even his own teacher by just his presence alone. This made Lance wonder if he would also have such a presence if he were to ever reach the same heights as the dean.

However, Lance you may find it difficult to find a demonic beast who is of the light elemental affinity, so I wouldn't worry about such matters until you are strong enough to eventually leave the Sun Dynasty."

"As for you Samantha, if you become strong enough and either join a guild or the army, you will have an easier time. Water element users are very rare, but water element demonic beasts aren't very difficult to find even in our Sun Dynasty. So as long as you train hard, such alluring benefits of joining a strong organization will automatically come with each offer."

"Now, Samantha this is the female dorms and here if your room's key and information. The dean may be open to accepting students that reach a smaller requirement, but until we recruit enough students, you can actually have the room entirely to yourself." Thomas told Samantha as he handed her a key and a piece of paper.

"As for you Lance, here is yours and the male dorms are right over there. As for your schedules, cla.s.ses will start tomorrow morning. For new students such as yourselves, it is mandatory to attend every cla.s.s. As you both show more promise, a special training regiment will be provided by the dean and the teachers which may allow for attending less cla.s.ses and focusing more on other aspects of training."

"Food will be provided for every meal at the cafeteria which is that building over there. So on that note, you both can start unpacking your things in your rooms and I will see you both at breakfast tomorrow. At that time, I will be giving you both cla.s.s schedules." after taking the time to explain these things, Thomas finally took his leave so that he could receive his reward for recruiting two students.
