The Witch's Rebirth 149 Danger Danger

The blood moves fast rolling over after mother. There was no way to stop it. Mother was the weak sort that didn't have much magic. Or to more accurately put it she was almost mortal. A few seconds without air and she could die.

A gun would be really handy right now or a magic screwdriver would also be good.

Without a weapon, there was little that I could do to stop it. Diana was right I had no real power to back me.

However, at that critical moment, I felt my blood boil and my world go red. I look at my hands and saw long blood red nails with pointed tips. It would seem that I had activated the Yoit blood. It felt natural as I ran and stuck my hand into the pool absorbing all the magic and blood.

When Drake made his clone, I didn't think that being drain was what he had in mind. I think their back up plan is to take my mother hostage and force me to give up the game on my own.

"Well, well, well," I said and turn to Diana, "Why did you do this?"

She looks at me hard, there was killing intent.

"Why Diana?" I asked again,

"You monster. You kill your own grandmother," she screams,

I look at her confused.

"Ms.Diana, I have to inform you that your grandmother is alive and well. She just is dead to the Yoit line as she is now on trial for treason against the Elves."

There was a long silence.

"What did you think I WAS CAPABLE of?" I asked,

Diana fell to the ground, tears trailing down her face. I think Ms. Kim just broke her. Her misunderstanding explained a lot. Not that I cared. Or that she was forgiven for acting and reacting the way she was behaving but I understood her quite well.

There was a bitter smile on my mother's face as she move away from me.

No one was happy. I slowly felt the power drain from within. Dragon blood was potent but dangerous. It'll take time to digest. Thinking on the bright side is that I will be full for the next six months or so and will have a stronger body after the process is completed.

"Diana, just go home and sleep it off." I said look at my aunt,

She was probably the one that had word the incident wrong. So Diana would have the strength to destroy me. I mean, in my past life I was never close with her but there were times that she was a good shoulder to rely on. It was only later on in my life that I learn that the reason why she was stronger than me is that everyone gave her help and cheats.

It was unfair but also the way the world works. The beautiful and the rich get the best. We ugly will have to struggle more.
