Undefeated Chess Grandmaster 11 Destroyed

The ma.s.ses who watch John's match got excited but also terrified. They never thought someone would have an official betting game, and most of the time, the result doesn't bode well for both parties.

"Your move 'Mister' " John urges the n.o.ble-looking kid to move his piece. John knows that it's only a matter of time he will going to get destroyed.

"Plebian, since you wanted to die a quick death than die!" The n.o.ble-looking kid arrogantly replied and moved his piece 4... Bxb4. He accepted Evans Gambit.

There are ways you can play this, but mostly it narrows down to two either you accept or decline this gambit. But he accepted it because he is confident that he can defend very well and stop John on his tracks.

John saw that he accepted the gambit, now smiles and said to himself.

[And now he got trapped with no way to escape. Now, should I make him squirm or should I end it fast?] John thought about it, he was angry that he disrespects his parents but ending the game at this point would leave a sour taste in the end. He thought for a moment and decided that he will make him squirm like a worm just like he treated him.

John now plays the standard moves of playing the Evans Gambit. Attacks the bishop on b4 and opens up the position for a strong attack that will happen on the enemy king on f7. The n.o.ble-looking kid also knows this variation, he spent some times reading about this line on their library, but he didn't take it to heart because this line isn't feasible for white in his opinion, because what good is an attack if you can successfully defend and squeeze your opponent to death? He also goes for one of the three variations of the Evans Gambit 5... Ba5 retreat the bishop on a5 while maintaining the action that happens on the center.

"Do you think you can defeat me by sacrificing you p.a.w.n on b4? Wahahahaha you must be dreaming kid, you should hurry and resign this match I might consider forgiving you for this insolence" The n.o.ble-looking kid haughtily said and smiles further. Bah, do you think I will forgive you? Not a chance!

"I will not resign because your defeat is certain on the move 18" John shrugs his threat and smiles, and he threatens him that he will finish the game on the move 18. The n.o.ble-looking kid heard that laughs even more.

"Whahahahaha, this should be the funniest word that I ever heard in my life playing chess. Are you sick in the head kid?" The n.o.ble-looking kid laughs, how can you confidently say that you will win when we are still in the openings? He thought and laughed at the idea of him losing to a plebian.

Ever since he was born, he was destined to be above others, and his family instilled that to himself. He inherited to rule them and decide their fate. But he was much tempted to become an International Chess Game player because there was a ma.s.sive amount of opportunity to rule the country and be its king. The hierarchical structure of the country now is that the country government answers to the royal family and being its king would solidify his dreams on ruling the people.

The moment he learned that chess could make your dreams come true, he studied hard to learn chess and become an International Chess Game contender. But this kid says that he will defeat me on the move 18? You must be dreaming kid, did you think you already calculated on move 5 and all the way to move 18? That must be the funniest jokes that I have heard in my entire life. Do you know that there are so many possible moves that could happen in chess? And calculating that moves would make your brain vegetables.

"No, I am not sick in the head, and also I speak the truth, the moment you took my p.a.w.n your defeat is already certain" John smiles and confidently replied to him. John will now take his sweet time, squeezing his opponent, and destroy him. It was already sure that he would be defeated on the move 18 so he could laze around toying him and annoy him until he crumbles to the inevitable defeat.

"Bah, did you know I know this line and knows how to defend well, Even if you sacrifice all your pieces I will come out on top" The n.o.ble-looking kid got annoyed at John's replied.

6. O-O

"Even if you know this line, I already said that you would only last on the move 18," John replied to him with a loud voice and full of confidence and moved 6. O-O John castles so that he can add the rook the attack.

The n.o.ble-looking kid looked at John's move and saw that he goes for the slow variation. The Slow Variation is a variation of the Evans Gambit that protects the king in case if black counter attacks but also the rook will be used on the attacks later on if white finally finishes setting up its offense. The n.o.ble-looking kid seized the opportunity and played 6... Nf6 attacks the p.a.w.n on e4. But it was a lousy attempt by him to immediately attack the p.a.w.n because it leaves white a powerful move.

7. Ba3

John develops the bishop but also prevents black from castling. The proper reply to this move was 6... d6 which supports the e5 p.a.w.n on the center but also blocks whites attempt to prevent the black king from castling. But the n.o.ble-looking kid was confident because he knows that he as an Elite is not his cla.s.s to defend permanently, he needs to attack and also seize the initiative 7... Bb6 pins the king but also plans to attack whites king later on. But this was a blunder, if the n.o.ble-looking kid defends and let his black king castles, then he could have successfully defended this monstrous attack, but sadly he failed and let John initiates the plan.

John didn't hesitate and initiated his long-awaited plan.

Elaine was confused about why all the people watch on table 23. She couldn't help but asks

"Hey you, why are you all watching at that table?" Elaine asks the nearest person who was watching John's match.

"Did you not hear what the arbiter spoke earlier miss?" A kid kindly replied to Elaine.

"No, I did not, I just came here, but I did not hear what the arbiter has spoken earlier" Elaine replied wondering what the arbiter spoked earlier that caused this commotion.

"The arbiter just spoke that table 23 would have an official betting match" The kid replied to her again and curiously continues to watch their game. He was excited and also worried about this game because he rarely sees an official betting match due to the heavy punishment that the world government imposed when establis.h.i.+ng the official betting match. The player who loses and doesn't comply with the bet they agreed upon will be punished according to the value of the bet. If a person bets a land and loses but fails to comply, he will be punished in eternal labor and that punishment will be carried out and will extend to his blood-related family to the next generations until the world government deemed the bet complied.

"What? Tell me, what did they bet?" Elaine was worried about John. She knows that an official betting match is something that a person shouldn't lightly take on. If John loses this bet, he would be humiliated, and his value as a human being will be destroyed.

"From what I heard, their bet is that loser kneeling on the floor and kiss the shoes of the winner" The kid replied once again and hurriedly left to go near the table so that he can see this exciting match that will happen.

"Oh, John, what did you do?" Elaine was anxious about John. She was told by her Dad to take care of him. But now he was on an official betting match? What the heck?

Not far away from here Kai and Alex saw Elaine watching John's match and walks to her.

"Elaine~, why are you so worried about your honey, it's not like he will lose to that fatso," Kai told Elaine with a smiling face. Elaine, who was concentrating on the match, got shocked.

"Kai, why are you here? And how did you find us?" Elaine asks Kai

"Well, thanks to this idiot for being so thoughtful and bringing a smartphone," Kai was still not happy with Alex. Alex, who heard that s.h.i.+vers and said to himself.

[Hey, I appreciate the thanks but don't call me an idiot] Alex who wanted to protest got a cold glare from Kai who likely heard his thoughts. What the f*ck? Is she a mind reader? How can she know my thoughts? Alex wanted to cry.

"Isn't that right, Alex~?" Kai asks Alex while smiling like a Devil.

"Yes, ma'am," Alex obediently replied to her.

"Anyways, hows John?" Kai wondered about John's match and asked Elaine about it.

"It looks ok for both sides; I didn't study the Evans Gambit because it was rarely played on a high-level tournament" Elaine was not so sure about this match. She read some books about the Evans Gambit and also concluded that the Evans Gambit is not a feasible idea for white to play. Because even grandmasters never use it when playing in a tournament, and also if they did play, it would end up disastrous for them if they can't convert that p.a.w.n sacrifice they made earlier to win.

Kai heard Elaine's reply also agreed to her decision. Why would you play the Evans Gambit when it was technically not a proven useful gambit that even grandmasters spent countless time researching various methods to make it feasible to be used on a tournament. Kai did play some Evans Gambit game with Alex and studied with him if it could be played on a compet.i.tion. But they arrive at the same conclusion that it was not feasible no matter how many times they tried to make it work unless John found the continuation for this line and make it a sharp weapon that cannot be stopped.

As the game continued, they heard John speak.

"Even if you know this line, I already said that you would only last on the move 18" They heard what John said. Only 18 moves? That's impossible! How can you say that when their move is only at the opening? The people listened to what he said and dismissed it.

Kai, Elaine, and Alex heard what John said got shocked! How can you confidently say that the match will only last on the move 18 when both of your moves is only at the openings yet? They started to think it was nonsense, the Evans Gambit is a monstrous attacking line with many possible outcomes but can you see all of those moves with such precision?

Elaine watched that the game has transposed into the slow variation of the Evans Gambit. She wondered what John planned when he said that. She tried to calculate all the possible outcomes of the game, but she cannot see it. How can John confidently say that this game will end on the move 18?

Kai and Alex also got curious, they started to think deeper and deeper, but they cannot found the moves that would end on the move 18. John, how can you say that it will end on the move 18? Kai and Alex wanted to pry open John's head to see what he saw.

John immediately challenges the p.a.w.n on the center and initiates the attack. The n.o.ble-looking kid saw that John immediately took action and captures the advancing p.a.w.n 8... exd4. John saw that he took it and moved the queen into action 9. Qb3, creating a queen-bishop battery in f7. John could have picked a more fast way to end the game, but he didn't because he wanted to punish him for his disrespect and also to test these red and green arrows that if it was true that this game will end on the move 18. John needs to experiment on these arrows and their relations.h.i.+p to each other; he already got the hunch that these red arrows are what the opponent is planning to do and these green arrows are the moves to counter it or deliver the checkmate. But he needs to test this if it is accurate, and he wonders that if the move is predetermined even when he said that it would end on the move 18. Would they change if I said that this would end on the move 18? John couldn't wait to find out.

The n.o.ble-looking kid saw that John had created a nasty queen-bishop battery he immediately prevents it 9... d5 attacks the whites bishop and prevents whites plan on capturing on f7. Logical the center is staked, the light-squared bishop now active, and the attack on f7 is slowed, but it was a terrible blunder. John saw that it was going according to what the red and green arrows indicated and immediately captured the p.a.w.n 10. exd5 creating an open file for whites rook will rush into.

The n.o.ble-looking kid wanted to stop that pesky queen whos eyeing that delicious f7 square along with the bishop and put an end to their attacks and played 10... Na5! But John immediately plays the rook on 11. Re1+ check! This put the black king in check, and this will be troublesome for black. The n.o.ble-looking kid saw that his king is in check hurriedly blocks it with the 11... Be6 bishop on e6. He opts to sac his bishop and probably hopes to castle queenside, but-

"What?!" The people with little knowledge of chess which were watching that match saw that John sacrifices his queen got shocked! Why would you sacrifice your queen when black's king it isn't even checkmated yet? But the some knew that it was already the end the moment he sacrificed that piece.

Kai, Elaine, and Alex, who watches that finally understand John's plan to checkmate his opponent on the move 18.

"Wow! I can't believe it! John calculated it up to the move 18," Alex, who was an endgame beast, immediately saw that it would end in John's favor was astonished. He wasn't confident in saying that he can finish the game on the move 18. But he saw John on a whole different level, he calculated it better than him, and he said it confidently.

"Yeah, I can't believe it too" Both Kai and Elaine agreed to what John's said earlier. They were skeptical what he said a while ago, but the moment he sacrificed his queen, the game was over from that onwards.

"It's only a matter of time John's opponent will resign the game. Well played John!" The trio congratulated John in their minds. They were excited that they saw John's won in the end.

Kai who wonders how good John is playing chess but now at this point she finally saw it. She cannot believe that John calculated it up to the end. She looks at him like a woman on a desert whos looking for an oasis. She wanted to have a match with him, but she restrained herself and ordered Alex, who was looking at John like a compet.i.tor whos itching for a game.

"Alex go buy John some snacks" Kai slapped Alex head who was dazing at John.

"Ouch!, what the heck Kai? Go buy it yourself!" Alex, who didn't want to be disturb ignored Kai who was asking him to buy some snacks. He was excited that he saw an opponent who thinks like himself. He was focused on this match and wanted to see more.

"Alex~" Kai who was ignored got angry at Alex.

Alex had a cold chill on his spine and looks at the back and saw Kai, who was ready to tear him to pieces.

"Hey, Ah, Kai what was that you said? Hehe" Alex shyly asks Kai who was smiling like a Devil.

"I said, go buy John some snacks!" Kai got furious at Alex for making her repeating what she said. She thought that this blockhead needs to have his ears cleaned with a spatula.

"Yes, ma'am!" Alex immediately left not further to incur Kai's punishment. Geez, what the hecks wrong with her? He thought that she would tear him to pieces.

"Kai, don't you think that's too much?" Elaine, who got distracted, watched their fight. She thought that Kai would tear Alex to pieces.

"I don't think so, it's just that goof doesn't hear me when he saw something interesting and punis.h.i.+ng him is a quick way to call his attention and besides he doesn't take it seriously. Ah, seriously, I feel like I'm his mom," Kai replied to Elaine. She had a headache with this goof; today, she was like a parent who watches and punis.h.i.+ng her kid doing something stupid. Elaine laughs, she found it funny and lovely that Kai cares for Alex, but her method is a little extreme~.

"I think you both look good to each other" Elaine teases Kai.

"Nah, I don't think that goof knows my intention" Kai loves Alex, and that's why she is shaping him up like a fine man.

"I wonder how you met with each other Kai" Elaine asks Kai about their past.

"I will tell you about it later, Elaine. But right now we need to continue watching this match," Kai replied to Elaine, and they both continued watching the game.

The n.o.ble-looking kid saw that John ignores his threat to capture his queen and plays 12... Nxb3.

"Wahahahaha why are you sacrificing your queen? Now that I captured it you lost, you cannot continue your attacks any further," The n.o.ble-looking kid arrogantly said to John. John heard what he said and laughs.

"What's so funny plebian?" The n.o.ble-looking kid got angry at John for laughing

"Nothing, it's just that I already won. Hey, wanna go for a walk?" John asks the n.o.ble-looking kid. The n.o.ble-looking kid got confused about what he's talking about.

"What are you saying?" The n.o.ble-looking kid angrily replied to John. Why would I walk with a plebian? It should they who would walk while carrying me on a throne.

"I'm saying that wanna take a walk, my king?" John asks the n.o.ble-looking kid. John already saw that it's already the end, but this fatso got blinded with fury and didn't see that he is now going on a walk to death. John can't wait anymore and played 13. exf7+ check! This puts the black king in check but also puts a double check with a rook on e1. The n.o.ble-looking kid saw that and move 13... Kd7 to deflect the check. But John continued 14. Be6+ check! Puts another check on the black king which drives the black king further and further into the enemy base. The n.o.ble-looking kid finally saw that his king would walk further and further thought up of a method to prevent it, but he already got caught in the mating trap.

The n.o.ble-looking kid tried all the moves that he could do but failed and resigned before they could reach on the move 18.

"Table 23 game concluded and the winner is John" The arbiter finally announced the winner.
