Truthfully, if I had the strength I would consider giving the small guy an advantage by powering him up a bit with a Martial Skill.

Well… It isn't that bad, even if he loses I can still do another entrance exam sometime. He should want to follow his friend at all costs. It seems as if they were friends when they came the first time. So they should be childhood friends or something similar.

As he rolled he got back up and by the time he was up, Phorbes has already turned around. He had an expression that seemed to say "Come!".

However, it didn't seem to do much as the small guy actually rushed him pretty hard! He was pretty fast earlier when he was punching. His small frame comes with some benefits it seems.

Although he packs less power, his speed is nothing to scoff at.

Phorbes seemed to take the full brunt of it, every small punch was aimed either towards his face or his body. He kept his hands up to guard his face the entire time and only his body was. .h.i.t by a few of those wasp stings.

The rush lasted for about 10 seconds of furious stinging, Phorbes opened his tight guard and a punch immediately connected with his face.

Although he was tough it still made his nose start to bleed, he shook it off completely with the blood starting to run down. He continued to put his guard down and was met by one more punch that flung bright red blood all over the arena.

Phorbes pulled back his arm and unleashed one of the strongest punches I have seen from him yet. That punch would undoubtedly kill a normal person!

The small guy was still trying to punch him and was aiming up the next punch for his body, as he was about to throw it out he didn't even notice the mountain dropping on him from above.

Just as I thought I would see his skull vanish, the arena teleported him out.

Everyone was stunned at the power in that punch, simply because even after he did it he continued down towards the arena and punched the center of the arena!

If I didn't have the Tier 0 arena, but a regular one. I think it would have actually cracked or dented it!

I looked over to the ground where the smaller boy was laying as I gave a slight sigh.

He only took one punch, and because it would have decimated him completely he took no damage from it as he was teleported out.

Although Phorbes went all-out; he still didn't harm his friend. Quite the smart guy!

I called out the last pair and the combat exam ended. I took a look at my new disciples.

All of them had battle scars, a few of the strongest had nearly no damage done to them.

6 People failed the test out of the 42 that pa.s.sed the screening. Which includes that Tier 4 talent that got away…

It seems I got pretty lucky with Floating Clouds, Rising Steps. It would allow the user to walk two steps into the air, able to walk on air itself!

It was one of the most advanced Tier 0 skills that would require a while to learn, the Pure Mana Pulse was quite ordinary, however.

It simply sent out a strong pulse of mana from your body in all directions. It was one of the most basic attacks.

Normally when you would use a Martial Skill, it would transform the mana in your body using a special formula. This formula would increase the power of your mana or add certain properties to it to allow you to do things like the Floating Clouds, Rising Steps Martial Skill.

The Mana Pulse, however, only let you take the raw mana in your body and send it out in a very inefficient attack.

The two Body Cultivation manuals were very different in application. The Bronze Skin manual, as long as you trained your body in the way it described. It would become a s.h.i.+ning bronze and as hard as metal.

The Smooth body requires even more work, and would most likely be used by a female. It requires a flexible body to make enemies attack's slip off of your skin. It will give your skin a glossy s.h.i.+ne and the property would be close to rubber.
