'Zhao Fu, here let your older brother drink with you' A man that had his face blurred walked in a dimly lit room towards another person. In his hand was what seemed like a gla.s.s filled with wine.

"W-what is this? Where am I?" In the black darkness that enveloped the world, a sound vibrated. The sound was that of a young man, not too deep nor too high.

'Gong Fu, wait I should call you family head now, right? Haha' A different voice resounded in the blurred vision this time. It matched the voice that resounced in the dark abyss.

'Haha! Younger brother, there is no need to be humble. Here let us just toast on this happy occasion. Father must be somewhere above.' The man with his face blurred drank the wine without hesitation. The other, younger man also gulped the drink.

"Isn't this when I was drinking with Gong Fu? Why am I seeing this now?" The voice traveled through the darkness with a hint of confusion. As the voice traversed the blinding darkness, it stopped in front of what seemed like a small egg.

"What is this? Where the h.e.l.l am I?" The egg shook, the voice through the egg like air out of a pipe.

'ARG! What is this? I am feeling hot. Brother, what is in this drink?' The younger man fell off his chair as the vision focused on the other, older man.

'Zhao Fu? What is going on? Wait here, let me go call a physician, try to hold on!' The blurred Gong Fu rushed out the door as the vision finally vanished into a puff of smoke.

"These visions! Don't tell me, I died? How could that be? I was in that room just a minute ago." The voice seemed to quiver as the darkness began to finally seem existent to it."If I died, then this must be the after life, but why am I in such a dark place? I have done good deeds my whole life, shouldn't I be in heaven? If heaven, then where is the fiery h.e.l.l?" The voice began to panic, but that was all it could. The thick black that blocked his vision wasn't something it could resist.

"Ssss! Ssseeemssss, the little onessss are ready to be relea.s.ssed. Ssss!" Suddenly, a voice resounded from somewhere in the darkness. It seemed to be close to Zhao Fu, yet also somewhat far. The voice was that of a females, however it sounded cold and even somewhat deadly.

"W-who are you! Let me out of here! Please, I have done good my whole life, why am I not in heaven?" Zhao Fu screamed loudly, but there was no reply.

Shake Shake

Suddenly, the egg that the voice resided in began to move. It b.u.mped into other objects, some hard while others soft. The darkness was still there, but the movement made Zhao Fu somewhat anxious.

"What's going on? G.o.d, are you allowing me to go heaven now? G.o.d? Are you there? Is anyone there?" Zhao Fu was beginning to feel more frantic.

"Finally, thessse little onesss can come out. Ssss! It ha.s.ss been around two monthsss, and now I can leave and find other prey to kill. Ssss!" The female voice resounded again. It was much easier to hear then before. It felt as if it was right in front of Zhao Fu.

"Sss! My little onesss, come now. Ssstruggle out of thossse eggsss that hold you captive. Come out and sssee the pretty sssky." The female voice, although cold, held a tinge of warmth. To Zhao Fu, this voice gave off a very nostalgic feeling. It made him feel a little safe, but also somewhat fearful. Although he didn't understand why he felt that way, he decided to follow the instructions of the voice. Zhao Fu began to feel for his arms and legs, however he couldn't find anything like that. He was confused as to why he couldn't feel his four limbs.

"Miss G.o.d, I can't feel my arms and legs, how do I come of the place. Please, guide me." Zhao Fu called for the female's voice once more, but there was no answer. He continued to try and feel for his arms and legs, however he just couldn't feel them out. Plus, the darkness was so much that he couldn't even see anything.

'If I can't use my limbs, than I will use my head.' Zhao Fu made up his mind to escape with his head. It wouldn't kill him if he tried.

Bam Bam Crack Crrr

As Zhao Fu banged his head onto the inner layer of the so called egg, he heard the sound of crack.

"It's working. Just a little more!" He continued to hit the egg until he felt something lift up. He was extremely happy and his head slowly came out the whole.

'No wonder I couldn't see anything, my eyes were closed by something.' He came to the realization that when his head some out the egg, he felt something drop from his eyelids. It was heavy and seemed to keep his eyes closed. When it came off, he began to slowly open his.

"Ssss! You are the firssst to come out my little one. Let usss wait for your brothersss and sssissstersss to come out as well." The cold voice was now extremely close to Zhao Fu.

Slowly, he blinked his eyes and everything in front of came as a blur. He couldn't see anything except for some light. He turned his head towards the voice that spoke to him, however he couldn't make out what the other party looked like. Everything was just too blurry.

"Umm, excuse me. Am I dead? Is this supposed to be heaven or h.e.l.l?" Zhao tried to ask the person, but he received no answer. 'What the heck? Why aren't you answering my question?'

"My little onesss, you all may not not be able to see for now, but just wait a few daysss. Everything will be clear then. Ssss! I will be here for you until you are able to shed for the firssst time." The female person spoke again, causing Zhao to fall into an even more confused state.

Shed? What did she mean by that? However, she has said that everything should be clear after a few days. I will just have to wait until then.

A few days pa.s.sed and it was now the time where he would be able to open his eyes and see the new world. Although, Zhao Fu didn't know whether this new world would be heaven or h.e.l.l, he didn't mind much. If he went to heaven that would be great, but if he went to h.e.l.l, then he couldn't do anything about it. He was now accustomed to this new body of his. Although he still couldn't feel his arms and legs, and his head seemed a little bigger than before, there wa no awkwardness. It felt natural.

Zhao Fu felt the heat touch his body as he slowly opened up his eyes. At first, things were still blurry, but then he noticed his vision begin to clear.

"Ssss! Ssso the eldessst isss going to open hisss eyessss firssst. Little one, quickly open thossse eyesss of yoursss and take a look at your mother. Ssss!" Zhao Fu was shocked by the females words. Mother? Does she mean as in she is the mother of all creatures, meaning G.o.d? That makes sense then.

Zhao Fu eyes focused on the blurry figure in front. At first, he felt the figure in front of him was going to be a giant woman. Her body was huge and it was somewhat slender as well, however when his eyes finally focused, he felt as though the world collapsed in front of him. A cold breeze flew into his heart and shattered it into pieces.

Slowly, Zhao Fu turned around and began to slide away. 'This is a dream, this is a dream. I am just having a nightmare, that's all. None of this is real, let me try to punch myself awake.' Zhao Fu was frightened beyond compare. He tried to lift his 'arm' but still felt that it was numb. He looked down to see what the problem was and couldn't help but take in a sharp, cold breath. His body was also that of a snakes.

"Calm down Zhao Fu, this is all just a dream. Nothing here is real." He calmed his rampaging heart as he looked behind him to see the large female snake looking at him with her cold, yellow eyes.

"Little one, do not be frightened. Ssss! I am your mother and will not eat you like thossse other wicked sssnakesss. Come, let mother warm you sssmall, feeble body. Sss!" The large snake's cold eyes showed a hint of doting, which scared Zhao Fu frozen. He didn't dare to move and only allowed the female snake to wrap his body with hers.

'Is this the after life? What the h.e.l.l! I wanted to go to heaven, if not that then you could send me to h.e.l.l as well. Why the heck am I a snake of all things.' Although Zhao Fu wanted to think that this was a dream or nightmare, but he knew that it wasn't. This was real. He was a snake, and his mother was one as well.

'I am a newborn, so I shouldn't be able to speak for a while. I was a beast tamer in the past and did read some things about the snakes. I should be able to speak after my first shedding, and looking at the time I have spent, it should be in another few days.' Zhao Fu was still s.h.i.+vering in fear because of his large mother, but he tried to keep himself calm. In the past, he did read about the cold-blooded snakes. Although they were considered frightening creatures, they were actually not that bad. Most snakes didn't kill their newborns after they hatched, however meeting a parent in the wild was a completely different case. From the tone of this snake mother, he could see that she was a part of the gentler kind that didn't kill her newborns.

"Little one, you ssseem to be shaking quite a bit. Ssss! Let me warm you up a little more." The mother wrapped a little more tightly. Others would have felt suffocated, however felt a strange sense of comfort. Seeing that Zhao Fu was relaxed, the large mother felt a little relieved and satisfied.

As he was surrounded by his mother's tail, Zhao Fu began to inspect his surroundings. As a snake, hot climates were really well suited, so he a.s.sumed that he would find himself in a dessert or something similar, however that wasn't the case. Surrounding him were large trees that looked like thin mountains. There was green gra.s.s around the whole place and he evens saw many eggs laying around his new mother.

Curious, he tried to slither towards the eggs. Seeing that Zhao Fu wanted to move around, the female snake loosened her grip. Her eyes glittered as she saw Zhao Fu approach the eggs.

"My eldessst, do not hurt your brothersss and sssissstersss. I will be mad if you do. Ssss!" The mother snakes eyes looked at Zhao Fu with a weird light.

'Hurt! I am afraid of my own shadow right! I am not gonna hurt anything.' Zhao Fu couldn't answer back, but he was able to nod his head. Seeing this nod, the female snake couldn't help but be extremely surprised.

"Little one, not only are you the quickessst to hatch, you were able to clear your vision before any of your sssiblingsss even came out of their eggsss. Thisss isss interesssting! Even your intelligence is high! You really are ssspecial!" The mother began to compliment Zhao Fu's various feats. Even Zhao Fu was astounded when he heard this. Normally, a snake would not hatch right when they came out of the mother. It might take a few days for that to happen, however he came out the egg right away, and even cleared his blurry vision before any of his so called brothers and sisters. This was indeed remarkable.

When Zhao Fu was able to get onto the ground, the first thing he did was try and get comfortable with his new body. He didn't have arms and legs, however his tail could act somewhat like an arm. He began to experiment on the feeling of the tail so that he knew how to use it. 'No. No. Not this either. Ah! Found it!' The mother snake watched Zhao Fu's actions with some playfulness.

'Seems like this one is trying to figure out how to use his body. Indeed, intelligent.' She nodded her head and circled here who bod around the eggs and Zhao Fu. Like a wall, she blocked any way of getting out.

Zhao Fu noticed this action and decided to ignore it. At the moment, he was in no danger, rather he knew what would happen if he went out alone. He was a newborn and only his mother could protect him at the moment. After finally getting used to his tail and body, he made his way towards the eggs.

The mother watched carefully to make sure that Zhao Fu wouldn't harm her children. Although snakes were said to have little parental love, that wasn't the case for all snakes. The mother was a fine example of this. She showed great concern so far for Zhao Fu and even for the unhatched eggs. Zhao Fu of course noticed this and felt somewhat glad that he hatched into this snak family rather than a more cold one.

Zhao Fu finally got to the eggs and began to circle around them. There were dozens of eggs, however Zhao Fu wasn't topo surprised. Some snakes were even able to lay up to a hundred eggs, let alone a dozen. Zhao Fu got close to the eggs and tried to sniff them however something weird happened.

Sssss

His tongue came out instead and he was even able to smell some stuff.The mother saw the bewilderment in Zhao Fu's small snake eyes and she couldn't help but giggle.

"My little one, after your sssiblingsss hatch, I will help you underssstand everything. Ssso don't worry if you are confusssed." The mother's face layed down beside Zhao Fu's as her large, cold eyes, looked at Zhao Fu with happiness. For some reason, Zhao Fu felt like rubbing his head on her face, which came to him as a weird feeling. Just a while ago, he was frightened by this snake and even himself, but now he felt comfortable and safe around them.

'Its official, Human Zhao Fu is now Snake Zhao Fu!'
