Zhao Fu had finally gotten his first kill as a snake. Although his Bloodline Purity was now one out of ten, it was better than nothing. After the swallowing of the bunny, other then the Void stomach that he had gained, there was no change. He still had the same information.

So far, this was the basic information that he had. He was unclear as to what he should do next. His body was small and wasn't able to swallow large animals. The only reason he was able to completely take in the Summer Bunny was because of the sudden appearance of the Void Stomach. He knew that he could swallow creatures that were around the same size as the bunny, but nothing more.

Zhao Fu didn't have a clear plan, but he thought he might as well try and find other animals to swallow. When he ate the bunny, for some reason the taste was amazing. It tasted so heavenly that he forgot about how he was eating it raw. As a snake, his food taste was now different, so he wanted to go and see what he would like and what he wouldn't.

'Maybe I should go and find myself a rat or something.' Just thinking about eating a rate made him want to barf, but at the same time, his mouth was watery. As a human, he would have barfed, but as a snake, he would drool.

Zhao Fu shook his head and slithered away from his previous location. He was still too small and weak, so others would be able to kill him quite easily. He was lucky that he ran into a pa.s.sive animal, rather than an aggressive one.

As he slithered through the green forest, the trees looked like giants that would squish him if he made a wrong move. Although this wouldn't happen, just seeing everything from the angle of a snake really made him understand what they went through.

The world was huge in the eyes of a snake, things looked much scarier because of their large size. Zhao Fu began to pray that he wouldn't meet anything too devastating. If he met another snake then he would die. If he met a cat, he would die. If he met anything even slightly aggressive, he would die.

'd.a.m.n, can I only eat those wimpy animals? What about insects?' He didn't want to resort to eating insects, but if there was nothing else, he would have no choice. With that in mind, Zhao Fu made sure that if he saw an insect, he would eat it.

Time pa.s.sed slowly, and he began to feel hungry. Although he just had a huge meal, he still felt hungry for some reason. Usually, a snake would stop and rest, but his hunger was getting to him.

His small body slithered in the gra.s.s that reached his neck. He then saw something in the distance.

"These animals are so annoying, can't they just let us through this stupid forest?" In front of Zhao Fu were a group of humans. He felt glad but also scared. He was a snake now so he would not be able to talk to them. Not only that, but he himself was a human in the past and knew what they would do to him once he was caught.

Zhao Fu quickly slithered behind a tree and watched from afar. Under the humans, feet were many dead animals. It didn't seem like they were killed in one slice, rather it looked like they were tortured to death. Zhao Fu felt furious. He was a beast tamer in the past because of his family and his love for animals. Seeing the way those animals died made him want to kill those humans as quickly as possible.

He noticed that when he began to get angry, his mouth started to drip with his venom and his tongue started to slide out much more. He was beginning to make some sounds that would be heard by the humans so he tried to calm himself down.

"Did you guys hear that?" One of the male humans asked his companions.

"Haha! Seems like there is a little snake around here." A more masculine male laughed as he showed a sinister smile. He looked around with sparkling eyes.

'Sh*t! They heard me! Let me move back slowly.' Zhao Fu had calmed down and stopped making sounds. He slithered deeper into the forest and waited for the humans to leave.

The human males moved around for a few minutes before stopping and shaking their heads. "Seems like the snake is gone. Those cunning little things. Whatever, let's go." The masculine man led the group of humans away from the sight.

Zhao Fu was about to go forward and see the animals but stopped. He didn't know if the humans would come back and attack him, so he decided to wait.

Ten minutes pa.s.sed by slowly. These were the most intense ten minutes that Zhao Fu had ever experienced. He had to keep his tongue from coming out and making noise. Not only that, he was feeling extremely hungry and the smell of sight of the blood made him want to rush forward. He persisted and didn't move, so now that time pa.s.sed he was ready to move towards the animals.

He didn't go quick, rather he slowly slid towards the animals, making sure nothing else was around. His small head looked around as he moved in an 's' pattern towards the bodies. It took him much longer than necessary to get there, however, it was better to be more cautious.

When he looked at the animals in front of him, he couldn't help but feel saddened. He found that there were some cats, dogs, wolves, and even birds. He lamented at their fates and silently prayed for their futures. He really loved animals in his past life. If anything, he found more happiness around animals than humans. Suddenly a message popped up in his head.

Zhao Fu never expected to get a message. He a.s.sumed that he would have to kill live animals to purify his bloodline, but it seemed that he was able to eat dead ones as well.

Looking at the animals on the ground that numbered in the tens, he slithered towards the smallest one first. It was a small bird that was covered in its own or even the other animals blood. He hesitated before slowly swallowing. He knew that this would be a long process, so he was ready to wait it through. As long as he could level up his bloodline, he would be able to slowly think of ways to get revenge for the animals.

He didn't mind animals being killed by humans or anything like that. He himself killed animals in the past, so that didn't concern him. What infuriated him was the torture of animals. He hated that. They could kill them quickly and get it over with, why the need to torture?

When he swallowed the first bird, he found that he could take another bird into his mouth, so he went and swallowed another bird. His body was now fat again, slowly digesting the birds.

The humans slowly walked through the forest while laughing out loud. "That was such a garbage trip! Still, we got to hear some of those animals scream, haha!" The masculine man spoke with the others with an evil grin.

"Yeah, those small things really should just disappear. They are so useless, they can't even give us a good amount of meat." Another man snickered. He looked at the bigger man with great respect. "Big bro, you are really strong though. I wasn't able to bear those screams for as long as you. You are the man." He began to lick the masculine man's boots with his praise.

"Haha! You will one day be able to do what I can, but you are going to need to train for a long time. I am the only man in our group right now, haha!" The others were displeased with the man's comment, but they didn't say anything. They were no match for the masculine man, so they could only keep their mouths closed.

"Do remember that snake sound? Do you think that the snake would try and eat the animals to increase his own powers?" It was known to humans how animals cultivated. The snakes were despised by almost every creature because they would go to any extent to increase their own powers. Some would even eat their own offsprings just for that.

"I don't know, I couldn't find the snake. It seemed like a smart snake since I showed such resistance towards the animals." Another spoke, however, the bigger man stopped walking.

"What is it, big bro?" Someone asked.

"We need to go see if that snake is actually there. You guys know how strong snakes can get after they increase their bloodline. We can't have any snakes becoming too strong." The man carried a serious expression when he spoke. His arrogance was now gone, and his face was completely solemn.

"Big bro, no need to exaggerate. Snakes need a long time to become anything that could threaten us." Another man laughed it off, but he became silent when the masculine man glared at him.

"You guys don't understand how strong a snake can get. With enough time, a snake can get so strong that they can ma.s.sacre a human town alone." The man turned around and began to run back towards the place where the animals he killed were.

The others felt that the man was exaggerating too much, but they chose to follow him back.

'Just one more and then I should be good. Seems like the effects lower when they are dead. If all of these animals were still alive, I would have gotten more than 20 points in my bloodline purity.' Zhao Fu had swallowed a bunch of bird, dogs and even some cats. He was moving onto a cat next since he was not able to swallow the wolf.

Stomp Stomp

He heard footsteps coming his way so he hid inside the body of one of the animals. He knew that the humans were back, but he didn't know why.

The masculine man looked around and found no snake, however, he noticed a large decrease in the animals on the ground.

"That fricken snake was here. He ate what he needed and is gone. Sh*t!" The man cursed before turning around in anger.

"What should we do? Should try and search for it?" A smaller man asked. He looked extremely weak, but he gave off a very evil aura. His muscles were small and he basically looked like a bag of bones. Extremely horrendous.

"No, just burn these animals. The snake won't come back if it sees all of them are dead. Quickly!" The masculine man ordered the others with anger. One of the men quickly pulled out a lighter like object and threw it onto the bodies.

Zhao Fu heard all of this and began to panic. 'Sh*t, if I go out I am dead! If I stay, I am dead! What the heck should I do?!'
