What were the odds of a snake choking on its own prey? It was extremely likely, but that very improbable event was happening to Zhao Fu. Plus, it was initiated by the suicidal Bad Fishy that rammed into his mouth.

'This G.o.dd.a.m.n fis.h.!.+ If it wanted to attack, it should have attacked me, why the h.e.l.l does it have to choke me?' Zhao Fu cursed the fish for rus.h.i.+ng into his mouth so suddenly, but he calmed his state of mind quickly and tried to properly swallow the fish.

After struggling for a few seconds, Zhao Fu was able to finally allow his glottis to go outside of his mouth and he slowly swam back to the top of the pond. 'I would have died. What little s.h.i.+t really knows my weakness.' He couldn't help but lament his fate. He just wanted to increase his bloodline purity so he could level up once more.

Zhao Fu then began to slowly digest the fish. Although he wasn't as bloated as before because of his Void Stomach ability, he was still unable to move.

He was finally able to digest the fish and so he slithered back towards the pond. He needed just nine more fish and he could finally increase his bloodline purity. He felt both excited and nervous thinking about what would happen after he finally achieved the next level. Would he just grow bigger? Or would he evolve into a different snake? Maybe he might unlock a new ability?

These questions appeared in his mind and just wouldn't go away. In his previous life, it was a common occurrence for beasts to evolve after reaching a certain stage in their strenght, however there were also cases of some beats not being able to evolve no matter what miracles happened. It was just not genetically possible for them to actually evolve.

Roaming inside the pond, Zhao encountered various types of fish. Some increased his bloodline by a tenth, while others had no affect. There were even a few fish that would poison his very being, which frightened. Since he himself was a venomous creature, how strong would the fishes poison be to actually do harm to him?

He avoided any fish that would do him damage, especially the suicidal Bad Fishy which would try to choke him once again. Of course, he had to go up the pond a few times since he couldn't stay underwater forever.

Hours pa.s.sed by and Zhao Fu was finally able to find his last prey. It was a fish that was about the same size as a b.u.t.terfly. It wasn't too large, but it's speed was astonis.h.i.+ng. After chasing after it for a while, he caught in the end and made to cause it some pain before swallowing it.

'That f*cker was quicker than those humans. Good thing I made sure it cried for its mom before eating it…. Maybe I should go and find its mom later on and eat her too for giving birth to such a s.h.i.+tty fish.' As his thoughts roamed all over the place, the voice of the Bloodline System appeared in his head.

'F*ck yeah!' After saying those words, his vision blacked. A bright light enveloped his small body.

Opening his eyes, Zhao Fu looked around and found that the cave seemed slightly smaller than before. He looked down and saw that his previous blackish scales were still present, but they seemed to be able to come off. He quickly slithered towards a sharp rock and began to shed his skin.

'Oh baby! Yes, yes, YES! This is the s.h.i.+t!' As he shed his skin, he couldn't help but violently scream in his head.

A few minutes pa.s.sed and he finished shedding and when he looked at his new look, he was very pleased. He was black all over with shades of white here and there. Slithering over to the pond, he looked down and saw that his previous blue eyes also changed somewhat. He now had two different colored pupils. One white, while one black. It was peculiar, but somewhat cool. Even his body got a little larger.

'This is crazy. I basically turned from an ugly snakeling into a fricken super snake model. Hehe.'

With a nod of approval, Zhao Fu began to slighter around the cave in order to completely understand his larger body. He also tried out his new skill, Cold Venom Spit. Although he still had his Midnight Venom, his new venom was much more practical to the current him. Especially since he couldn't get close to most animals. If he could freeze them for a moment, then he could quickly strike them and then use his more OP Midnight Venom.

*PEW PEW*

He shot his venom everywhere in the cave. 'This is f*cking cool.' He kept shooting it everywhere and for some reason the venom was never ending. It felt like he had an unending supply of venom, which made things even better.

While he shot his white venom everywhere, he didn't notice a large shadow slowly creep towards him from the back.

'With my new venom, I could kill anything! Just let me at them!' His laughter filled his own head.

With his eyes closed, he turned his head and shot another round of venoms. Not seeing that his venom landed on the scaly face of the creeping shadow.

*ROOOOOAAAAAR*

Zhao quickly opened his eyes and saw his venom on the beast's face and he suddenly felt faint headed. 'I was just joking, why the h.e.l.l did you actually send me a f*cking monster!'

Closing his eyes, he pretended to faint and began to mumble quietly. 'I am dead, I am dead. You don't want to eat a dead snake. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! Bohoo!'
