He shook his head in frustration. However, he was sure to himself that he can fix this thing. He's determined that he can handle this alone. He was staggering along the path so it's good that this place was usually unvisited. They can't see him like this.
Lucaa got out from the previous hall and shortly walked back to the path where he was ordered, then, suddenly, he b.u.mped into someone. He almost shouted loudly because of the pain from hitting his arm to the man's body.
"Lucas."
He froze when he realized who it was. He slowly stepped back away from him and avoided his gaze.
"Coach Clive."
Lucas struggled to make his voice normal even though his teeth had been grinding together non-stop due to the pain.

Coach Clive frowned. He looked at the path where Lucas came from. Lucas just realized why everyone have that reaction when he said he was going there earlier. They maybe aware, but don't want to say the truth to me.
"I have to go, Coach Clive."
Lucas tried hard to keep a straight face and walked as normal as possible while Coach Clive's still watching him. His frowned deepened when he looked down at Lucas' left arm. Lucas followed his gaze and saw that it's now bleeding!
"Wait."
Lucas froze at his tone. He knew that kind of cold and commanding voice so well.
"What happened to your arm?"
He was staring at Lucas without a single expression on his face. Lucas had this feeling that he already knew the answer but still wanted to hear it from him. Too bad, because Lucas will never tell him anything. He's not Lyns that was scared to him.
"It's nothing, Coach Clive."
Lucas looked at him straight in the eyes and for a minute, they just stared at each other. Coach, who's waiting for him to say the truth and Lucas, who kept onto his lie.
The staring contest only came to a halt when they heard noises. It was followed by bursts of laughter and voices as if telling some stories. Lucas tightened when he realized these familiar voices.
Coach Clive became rigid beside Lucas. Lucas lowered his gaze and saw Coach Clive's anger. Lucas knew then. Coach Clive already had a good grasp of what really happened.
"Clive," Lucas warned.
He doesn't care if the formality in their conversation ceased. The noise came nearer and sounded like they're soon about to come towards their direction.
"He's daring as h.e.l.l. If only Maru didn't get scared; we could have crippled him."
Lucas grabbed Coach Clive's arm to prevent him from taking any actions. Lucas winced painfully because of the sudden movement.
Coach Clive was so scary. But Lucas' more afraid of what will happen to him if he gets into trouble again.
"Clive, calm down."
Coach paused and looked to Lucas. His eyes landed on his feet that's about to give way from supporting Lucas and to his arm that's still bloodied which was starting to spread.
"Go to the main hall," Coach commanded with deep voice. He started to walk away from Lucas.
"Clive, what are you doing?"
Lucas struggled to follow him, almost tripping on his way through. Lucas hurriedly blocked himself before Coach. Blood started to trickle down Lucas' arms to the tip of his fingers.
"You can't hurt them. I already has too many problems. If you do what you're thinking, it will just get bigger."
Clive narrowed his eyes at him. Lucas can't help but be overwhelmed and intimidated by his stare.
"I said go."
Lucas stood his ground firmly. "No."
"Go before I drag you." he ordered.
Lucas raised his hands higher. "Just forget this, Clive!"
"Why are you so stubborn? Can't you see yourself now? You can barely stand on your own feet. You think I can just let someone mess with the partic.i.p.ants and get out without a scratch?"
"Then don't treat me as partic.i.p.ant!" Lucas shouted. "I'm a transferee. So stop!"
Clive froze. He grimly looked at Lucas. A moment later, Lucas suddenly fell on the floor— he held to the nearest wall as sudden searing pain shot through his whole body. He arduously closed his eyes due to the extreme pain.
He heard Coach cursed while quickly approaching him. Lucas shove his hand and forced himself to stand alone.
"I'm fine."
"d.a.m.n!"
Lucas was so surprised when Coach pulled him. He can feel his tight grip on his hands. It looks like he can't stand Lucas anymore.
"Why are you always like this?" he asked in irritation as they started to walk. Coach was almost dragging him. Lucas don't know where they were going.
"You can leave me here," Lucas ordered him but in his head it's more like begging. The way Coach pulling him is really painful and he's also trying hard to keep up with his pace.
"I already said go before I drag you," he replied seriously. "You made your choice."
They continued walking while Lucas felt that Coach Clive was catching his breath.
"As per who did this to you.." he stopped. "We will settle this at Blue High's Emba.s.sy!"
