The man sits on the chair near the couch and looks at the girl who's sleeping soundly. He recalled the very first moment he saw Zoey back in their college days.

Freshmen orientation was a 3-day yearly event for all the fresh students in their university. Mission, vision, school layout, upcoming school events and holidays, distribution of department uniforms and many more discussed in the said event. Day one was allotted for all Accounting, Financial and Managerial related courses.

During that time he was absent-mindedly sitting inside the auditorium while who knows who was speaking on the stage. Does everything the speaker saying can give to his future? That thought to roll on his mind. He was so bored and doesn't have anyone to talk too.

His brother was already in his junior year in their university, and he doesn't care about his well-being so that he doesn't count as one of his acquaintance in the university.

He plugged his earphones to his ear and start listening to any song that will be randomly played on his pad.

He was looking from left to right and tried to see the other students in the hall. The Auditorium has two aisles and as for his course, they seated on the middle part of the auditorium.

The speaker was already explaining the mission and vision of today's department. He was discussing the upcoming related events and enthusiastically enumerating the credits that any students will get if they take part in the events.

As he was speaking on the stage, no one from all the students down the stage was listening except a girl seated on the left side of the auditorium. She was the one only who are attentively taking down notes and nodding her head when agreeing to the speaker.

The boy whose ears plugged by his earphones noticed the girl from his left. He smiled when he saw that her attentively partic.i.p.ating. He said to himself, "Nerd alert!"

The girl was basically your typical nerd looked student, with her pony-tailed hair, backpack bag with a briefcase and her pencil-case on her desk. Though she looked like a nerd, no one can blindly not to consider an extraordinary aura. The girl has a snow-white flawless skin, pinkish cheeks, her hair freely waved on her back; her ears are awesome and cutely small. The boy can't stop himself from intensely staring at her, observing her every move.

The girl suddenly s.h.i.+vered while writing her notes. When the boy noticed her s.h.i.+vered move, he instantly turned his eyes away. "She almost got me," he said to himself.

"Was someone looking at me?" The girl thought all of a sudden. She turned her head from left to right to see if someone was looking at her. When she saw that no one is looking and no one was listening to the speaker, she also pitied the speaker in front.

The whole orientation ended when the department uniforms distributed. Students asked to fall in line according to their courses. The lines were in Accounting Course, Business Administration Course, Financial Course, and Managerial Course and so on.

The boy went to the Business Administration, and the girl was in the accounting course. Other students kept chatting with each other's while the boy was still staring at the girl. He even noticed her heart-shaped mole at the back of her neck.

The girl was already uncomfortable due to the feeling that someone might be staring at her. So she just stood still there and just moves forward when the line was progressing. She hugged her stuff on her chest and keeps her head low.

If you will base the line formation, the girl was just two positions ahead from the boy on the other line. On her turn to get her uniform, she wrote her name on the list on the table. The woman in-charged looked at the paper and the shouted to her partner, "Alcantara, Zoey, 1A" After receiving her uniform Zoey simply said thank you and then turned around.

"So her name is Zoey Alcantara. What a cute little girl!" The boy on the other line said.
