Relations.h.i.+ps that start like this didn't make the couple less than what they should be. As long as both of them love and believe with each other's, nothing can degrade them from how they started.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Nickel tried to ask any suggestion regarding on how are they or should we say he handle her parents. Zoey actually didn't take it seriously because she knew that Nickel was already on her father's good side since the day they first saw each other.

"Don't worry. My mom and my dad will definitely like you. Just be yourself and let us see what will happen." Of course, this is how will Zoey handle things regarding her parents. Anyway, her parents seem like they going to support her whatever she has decided.

The two enjoyed the night dining to what Nickel prepared for them. It was a mission accomplished on his mind that everything went well as what he wanted to be. At least before the day ends, he already escaped the NGSB status that he has been holding since then.

The next day after the breakfast buffet Nickel and the rest of ASC need to go back to the metro. Of course, just like how they have arrived, Zoey will return together with Nickel. They haven't publicized their relations.h.i.+p within ASC and would like to keep that way. It was Zoey decision because she doesn't want to put their positions as director and accounting manager in vain. She knew that there will be people who would think that someone, who is obviously her, that climb into someone's bed just to be where she is now. Although Zoey doesn't care what will people think about her but now that she is with someone, she needs to at least take care of both of their reputations and positions.

Zoey boarded on Nickel's car without hesitation and self-preservation as what she had before, she was somehow relaxed and comfortable now that they already put a label into what they are now. It also warms Zoey's heart that after long years of being single and alone, she now loved and will be loved until who knows when.

As they start to hit the road, Nickel reached out Zoey's hand, he locks him to her while he put it on top of the gear lever. One hand is on the steering wheel while the other is in the lock of Zoey's hand on top of the gears.h.i.+ft.

"Isn't it dangerous to hold hand while driving?" Zoey is cautious of the possibility that they may face an accident because of their locking hands. Nickel, on the other hand, looked at her through the rear-view mirror and shamelessly said, "It is but I really want to try doing it with you for the longest time now, let me get used to it first so, next time will be safer for us."

Zoey giggled from his cheesiness. She never expects that Nickel has this corny bone within him. Moreover, she still loves hearing these cheesy notes from him.

They continued locking their hands in silence when Zoey asked him about something.

"Do you want to meet my parents, tonight?" She said while mesmerizing the scenery other her window. It just came in her mind that she wants to make things legal and proper on their first day. Yes, here they are again, valuing their first day as boyfriend and girlfriend.

"Are you sure? What to do it, now?" he replied while is eyes is still on the road. Nickel thought that would be stressful for her to answer her parents' inquiries but it is also the proper thing to do. He doesn't want to be on their bad side anyway.

"Yeah! At least the sooner the better, right? It should be you to worry if everything would be okay. Remember, I am the daughter here. Of course, they are going to be on my side no matter what."

"You are right, but let us see who are they going to side once I got them on both of my hands." Nickel answered back with confidence in himself.

They drove back to the Metro after their three hours of rolling on the road; they arrived in front of the Alcantara residence. It has been months since Nickel set his foot on their house. If before he was too cautious of his actions in front of her family as her boss and colleague, now that he became her official boyfriend makes him more careful about dealing with his hopeful in-laws.

The Zoey's parents with their serious faces, which made Nickel back out from Zoey's plan, welcomed them. He just then realized that he wasn't prepared yet to face them after that shocking relations.h.i.+p status change.

He thought that agreeing with Zoey to went straight at their home will gain their trust because he still respects them as her parents but seeing those faces, he now wants to pee on his pants due to his fear from the outcome.

Before they reached the front door, Zick who was still in his doctor's robe appeared behind his parents and said, "so you're that guy."

Nickel wanted to hide behind Zoey back but he didn't do it because they might this that he is a scaredy cat that was easily frightening.
