"There are too many similarities between Nickel and Alex," Zander said as he leans his body behind his wife after they sent off the two kids inside their car. Fatima couldn't contain the happiness she is feeling right now because at last after long, long years of waiting, she can be a.s.sured that Zoey had already recovered from all that she has been through.

It is her biggest worry in life whether Zoey will ever be in love or be loved. She stopped showing concern to opposite-s.e.x except to her dad, brother, and Alfie, who she considered her brother from another mother. Fatima thought that Zoey got traumatized from what the b.a.s.t.a.r.d, Michael, did to her. He didn't only destroy her confidence in love and life but he also killed the trust that Zoey got for other people.

But now that Nickel is beside Zoey all the time, she can relax that there is already someone that will protect her little princess at all times.

"Honey, what are you thinking there?" Zander asked after not receiving any reaction from his wife. Fatima, on the other hand, returned from her thoughts after she felt the hot breath of her husband on her nape. This man really doesn't know his boundaries.

"Nothing, I was just wondering if Alex and Olivia will also warmly and whole-heartedly accept Zoey once they meet her."

"Of course they will. Our Zoey is the sweetest of all, not to mention the most beautiful of them all because she got it from her father. Awwww!" Fatima pinched her bicep from proclaiming that it is all because of him their daughter possess beautiful features.

"Honey, I was just kidding. Zoey is just the second of all because you're still my queen."

Zoey and Nickel reached Serenity Condominium in less than an hour. As Nickel parked his car, he noticed that Zoey is, again, sleeping on his pa.s.senger seat. Zoey has a low tolerance for holding her sleep. She has this weird ability to sleep in any form whether she is sitting or leaning into something.

And because it already late that night, he is now conflicted whether to wake her up or to let her stay here and doze off for a few more minutes. Nickel chooses the latter but as he turned off the car's engine, Zoey opened her eyes and asked him if they are already in their home.

"Yes, baby. Do you want to go up now to continue your sleep in your room?" Nickel doesn't know when did it all started, he started acting and talking too calm that sometimes he distinguishes himself anymore. Nevertheless, he still likes this side of him whenever he is with Zoey.

"Yes, baby." Zoey yawned after answering him. She is really tired that day and wanted to collapse on her bed to rest. "You can go now, I will bring everything." Nickel opened the car's compartment and pulled their entire luggage out of the car and inside the building.

Even though they don't have brought a lot of things during their outing, combining both of their bags is too handful for Nickel alone but he doesn't want her to carry anything heavy so he tried to persuade the lady to let him do the man work.

After they reached their floor, the two stood in front of Zoey's door. Nickel pa.s.sed her things and said his goodnights and goodbyes. "Clean yourself and sleep, I will drive you tomorrow to work. Goodnight baby." He is about to turn around when Zoey pulled his arm and kissed his cheeks before saying, "Goodnight. I love you."

She immediately entered her unit after successfully bidding her goodnight to her boyfriend. Zoey was still in a euphoria of savoring the fact that she already got a boyfriend after for so long.

To be honest, she wasn't prepared for anything that had happened today from their first day as a couple; from her parents' warmly acceptance of him; from him calling her darling, baby or any endearment terms that he got under his sleeves. She didn't expect herself to kiss him earlier.

"Wow! This relations.h.i.+p has already changed me so fast." She said to herself.

After her short realization about today, she went to her bathroom and starts cleaning her. They also brought happy home after her short vacation in her parent's house.

Happy happily run around the unit, Zoey can say that she really missed their house from her two-day vacation inside the big house of the Alcantara.

As she finished settling everything for tomorrow, she lies down on her bed and saw that she got a message while she's inside the bathroom.

Zoey felt excited after reading his message. "What on earth is he thinking?" she asked.

Reply: Sleep Nickel, Sleep. Goodnight and I love you more. Zzzzzz.

Nickel, on the other hand, kept rolling and rolling on his bed after receiving Zoey's message. "She said that she loves me more. I cannot believe that this is happening. But also, I will not be going to let her win from whom who loves more. I need to win this one.

Reply: But I love you more. I really love you more.

Reply: Whatever. Just sleep, baby. We still to work tomorrow. I love you.
