Last night.

Michael stayed and waited for Zoey to finish her thing before he executed his plan. For him, there is no way of returning; he needs to do something to make Zoey stay beside him.

It was a good place to stay and hide Zoey. After an almost three hours drive, they've reached his uncle's house. He carried Zoey inside and informs the caretaker to prepare two rooms for them. The caretaker didn't hesitate to comply for his command, as he already knew whom Michael is and also he thought that Zoey was just sleeping and he didn't want to wake her up after a long drive.

As he was setting her into the head, her phone fell out of her pocket. Michael read Nickel's messages and let it left unanswered.

The next day.

Zoey was still unconscious from the attack she received from him. Michael watched her sleep until her phone starts ringing. It was Alfie for goodness sake. He forgot that aside from Nickel, there was an Alfie he needs to be taken care off.

From: Alfie

Message: Aren't you going down?

He remembered that he didn't saw his driver entire yesterday and it was Alfie whose been driving her around. Maybe Alfie is waiting for her today, Michael left the message unanswered but after a few minutes, Alfie sent her another message saying that if she won't go down any minute, he will barge inside her unit and drag her down.

Michael panicked from his declaration and decided to respond.

Reply: Alfie, I'm sick. I will skip work today, sorry.

Alfie bought his alibi and rea.s.sured him that Zoey will be fine alone in her room.

Later that afternoon, Zoey slowly gain herself and realized that she was in an unfamiliar place. When she was about to move her hands, she found out that it was both tied up along the pillars of the bed the same goes with her legs.

Panic begins to cover her body so she starts screaming for help. Unfortunately, Michael's uncle's house was within a hectare of land and the nearest neighbor that they had was kilometers away from the main mansion.

Michael heard her screams and attended her needs. He thought that she was just in shock and that her emotion will subside once she realized that she was with him.

Zoey was frightened from all the possibility of her situation as she was in deep thought about her feeling that there was someone watching or following her, the door of the door slowly opens and there he saw the man standing. Zoey cannot comprehend the man's figure as the light at his back blinded her. She waited for him to reach the bedside before she tried to know who was he and what is his reason for kidnapping her.

"You okay? Zoey?" the man said.

Zoey knew that voice it was Michael.
