Let Him Love You First 27 I Don't Mind, But I Won't Allow It Either.

Zoey was watching an afternoon tele drama when a breaking news flashed on their television screen. She gasped as she saw the aftermath of the explosion and clips of the victims who are scream because of pain. "Oh G.o.d!"

Zoey pitied the children the most as they were too young to be exposed to how danger this world could be. She was attentively listening to the news when Manang, her nanny since she was three years old, tapped her shoulder and said, "Zoey there is another delivery for you. What should we do then?"

Ever since the day after Shane's wedding, Michael has been constantly sending her gifts such as flowers, chocolates, stuff toys and some of her favorite food at their house. Although, she already mentioned to him that she wasn't interested to be with him again. Michael still shamelessly pushes himself towards Zoey, if she changed her heart. For all the things Zoey received, she either throws it away if it is inedible or gives it to the housekeepers if not.

"From whom?"

"Do you still need to ask?" Manang nonchalantly replied to her.

It confirms that the package sent to her was again come from Michael. Zoey wanted to grab her hair down as she didn't know how to stop him from bothering her. 

"Manang kindly throw it out after signing the package receipt. Thank you." She requested to Manang as she didn't even bother to check it first before disposing it. 

Manang nodded and walked straight to the main door. After receiving the flowers she called one housekeeper and asked her to throw the bouquet at the backyard trash bin. The housekeeper thought that it was a waste as the flower was so beautiful. She wanted to keep it instead but afraid to ask Manang about it. She has seen the other flowers that Miss Zoey received for the past week and all of them either went straight to the bin or Manang throw it to the fire. She didn't know the back story of the young Miss as she was just new to the household. All along they thought that it Mister Zick was an only child of Mr. And Mrs. Alcantara. 

The Alcantara household doesn't display pictures of their children very often. It was just a portrait of the old Mr. And Mrs. Alcantara and painting of a cute baby girl. The baby girl looked like Mrs. Alcantara, so they a.s.sume that it was her baby picture hanging at the walls of the main living room.

Manang was about to close the door when a familiar figure appeared on their residence gate. The man stopped himself in pressing the door bell when he saw Manang looking at him. He greeted him kindly as his smile was from his ears to ears hoping that Manang will be touch to his happiness of seeing her.

"What do need?" Manang unemotionally asked. She was throwing him deathly stares as she didn't want to see him after all these years from what he had done to her lovable Zoey.

"Hi Manang, I just want to talk to Zoey. If you don't mind?"

"I don't mind, but I won't allow it either. Go home and don't waste my time here." Manang shut the door loudly that makes Zoey inside the house jump from surprise. When Manang entered the living room, Zoey wanted to ask what happened, but she's afraid of Manang's deathly aura, the aura that she used to use to her when she's not listening to her.

Zoey looked at the young housekeepers waiting them to ask her but Even them took a step backward as they are all afraid to be scolded by her. Zoey dismissed her thought of pestering Manang when Suddenly her phone rang. It was an overseas call.
