"Why are you so eager to finish at and hang his call? I haven't spoken to you for a month and this how you pay me for all the worries that you've caused me?"

Nickel was in the middle of an unexpected video conference from his former supervisor in Montana. Despite the time difference Vernon, his former manager used his sleeping time to call and ask what the h.e.l.l is happening to him.

"Vernon, I'm fine. You see I'm all fine!" Nickel showed his torso to him and flexes his biceps to indicate that his stronger than before. "This body can still beat your a.s.s up." He added.

Vernon on the other line laugh out loud. He remembered that time when they were celebrating and drink all night. He suddenly asked Nickel for an arm wrestling but the poor Vernon underestimated the strength that his little Nickel had.

*flashback*

"a.s.shole come here!" Vernon called the newly hired Nickel. Nickel was a tall and a bit skinny fresh graduate that time. Like a typical nerdy but with a face of an idol.

Nickel walked slowly with his head down and reached Vernon's table. Vernon was a notorious bully to newly hired male employees. He liked to challenge them with arm wrestling. Although new hires were already oriented by the old hires regarding Vernon's practice, it was only Nickel who didn't show any fear of him.

Nickel sat down in front of Vernon and extended his arm to him, without Vernon saying his infamous words, "I can be your servant for a month only if you will against me. Deal?"

Seeing Nickel offering his arm to his made his laugh out loud. Other customers in that restaurant looked that their table and observe why he is laughing.

"So I guess you already knew about this? Okay let's get it on."

Vernon and Nickel positioned themselves. While one of Vernon's colleague serves as a referee to them.

"After my count."

"Two."

"Three."

Usually, when Vernon challenged a strong one, he can last after three minutes of a tug of war of strength while ten seconds to those with lesser ability to beat him.

Before he challenged Nickel, he bet with his friends that he can beat him after two minutes.

After the referee said 'three', the two players exert their strength and fought with each other.

When Vernon was about to use all his force, a loud *tug* broke one table.

Everyone inside the restaurant stop and astonished to what had happened.

All the tables in that restaurant were made to a thick and strong wood. How would a loud *tug* break one table.

A moment of silence interrupted a happy and lively event. Until one of the new hired gasped when she noticed that the table that Nickel and Vernon used was destroyed.

Also, the boastful Vernon broke his arm due to the challenge while Nickel stood up and fix his coat as if nothing had happened.

Everyone were amazed with the strength Nickel showed, he earned an overnight popularity within his department but also within the whole company.

Vernon was rushed to the nearest hospital to aid his arm. The owner wasn't mad when his precious table broke.

Actually he was happy that there was a person that can beat this Vernon and made him a living embarra.s.sment.

After that day, the arrogant Vernon changed to be a friendly version that we can see today. He became friends with Nickel, but never stepped aside the role of a supervisor.

"Okay! I believe that you're fine there. But what's with the ruckus of finis.h.i.+ng everything today? You've been calling my secretary regarding this matter. Dude, may I remind you that we also need sleep!"

"I need to finish everything tonight. And I will be entertaining any calls from you later this night. I have an important matter to attend. I don't need you to disturb me."

"I can only grant your wish of you will tell me what you will do tonight. Are you going to hook up with a girl? Well, this one isn't your personality, but I don't know, are you going to kidnap a girl and make her your baby mama? Keep her on your bas.e.m.e.nt and kill her afterwards?" Nickel flinched his face and looked at his friend with disgust.

Vernon wanted to ask whose family it is but before he opened his mouth Nickel press the end call and his screen turned black in just a second.

A few seconds later, he received a message from his friend.
