"I followed you one day and that's how I learned that you are staying here. That is why all my packages were all returned to me saying that there isn't any Zoey Alcantara living in your house."

Actually knowing that Michael is also sending her packages is not new to her but following here? That's creeps her out.

"Michael you're scary." With a disgusting look in her face she tried to remove Michael's hand out of her.

"And I just found out today that you and Nickel are living here together." Zoey nodded, agreeing that they are indeed living in Serenity Condominium but Michael misunderstood it from what he expected.

"So it's true that you both living here?"

It is actually dumb to explain her side but with Zoey's silence makes everything worst for Michael. It added fuel to his anger, jealousy and obsession. When he couldn't hold his temper anymore, he was in an act of slapping Zoey from where she stand, but he thought it wouldn't benefit him.

"Do it!" Zoey was challenging him out of her anger and annoyance too. Why is she here anyway? Why did from all the people in this world he would have to b.u.mp into this person. She is already reaching her patience when suddenly Michael hold her body tight and is about to kiss her forcefully. Zoey tried her best to get off him but a familiar scent surrounds her.

Nickel was looking from left to right after getting off the elevator. Looking where possibly Zoey is. He also asked the cas.h.i.+ers of the convenient store where Zoey said she will go to buy something; but none of them can tell where will she be now.

"Wait, Mister! I think I saw her with a guy who pulled her away from the door."

"Do you know who is that person??" With this clue he got from the cas.h.i.+er made him more worried that maybe something bad happened to her. If only he held his tongue that time, minor accident like wouldn't happen. She wouldn't go here and buy something or lie that she wants to buy something.

"Sorry but I don't."

Nickel tried his luck again and roamed around area until he heard someone yelling at the secluded area of the park.

"Do it! Lay your hand on me! Try it!" that voice sounds like Zoey and to cure his worries. Nickel went to where the shout came from.

"How did you do this to me Zoey! Why did you decide to live with that man alone? You said when we were young that you and I will stay forever. Remember Zochael forever?"

Zoey cringes after hearing that stupidest pet name they had when they were young. It's you love team name.

"You said that you will only marry me. Only me! But how did you do this to me??" Michael is now shaking her out of his depression.

Nickel saw that Michael gripped Zoey's shoulder and was about to forcefully make his way to her. Nickel rushed to them and pulled her back into his arm.

After all of this, this will be the safest thing she could ever acknowledged. With Nickel's secured arms, Zoey felt safe from Michael claws.

"What the f.u.c.k are you doing here?" Michael's anger escalated real quick from Nickel's presence.

"This talk is all about Zoey and I and Fuentes you are out of these."

Nickel couldn't hold his temper when Michael tried to pull her back. Sometimes Zoey thought that she was a rope used in a tug of war games on her previous life. Why do people loved pulling her back and forth?

"Get your hands off her. You're hurting my girlfriend." Nickel declared without any hesitation. He wants to firmly draw a line that Zoey is already taken, taken by him.

Zoey kept her silence and curled under Nickel's protection when Nickel tried to touch her back part to protect her from the man in front, Zoey abruptly yelped from pain.

Following where he had touched her a while ago, Nickel looked at her back to see if maybe there are foreign objects pierced unto her but none.

Zoey's face turned pale from the pain. Silently panicking of what was happening to her, Nickel unannounced peeked into her s.h.i.+rt and saw that there was already a palm sized bruise on her back.

Guilt and annoyance engulfed Nickel's rational. He hated that other than the burn she had on her thigh, she is now having a palm sized bruise from her back.

"What happen to your back?" He asked.

Michael was watching their interaction, was shocked that Nickel can look or peek into her clothes without Zoey's permission. Something he cannot do to her even when they were together.

"Michael pushed me real hard." Zoey sounds like a child complaining how the bully inflicted her.

Hearing what happen, Nickel's irritation now turns into vengeance. He wanted to beat this man where he can be able to borrow a face to a poor dog. Or at least punch him because he doesn't want Zoey to see him being violent.

"Let's go home." To dismissed his plans, Nickel just invite Zoey back inside the building and away to Michael.

"You cannot take Zoey away, we're still talking."

"The conversation is over. You already hurt her. There is no chance for you to go near her ever again. Over my dead body."

"And you are? Who are you to tell these?"

Nickel doesn't want to explain further everything to Michael. He just bends down to Zoey's level and cupped her chin and kissed her for 15 seconds.

"Do I need to explain?" After that the two went inside the building leaving the dumbfounded Michael outside.
