Zoey was thinking where she should tell them that her precious first kiss was already gone and the one to blame was Nickel, her supposed to be the savior.

"Actually, mmm… last night was… nothing happened aside from but I still a question to ask." Zoey didn't want to share the kiss part to her friends because she thought it will jeopardize her personal question if in case they knew this thing.

The three of them looked at her intently and waited for her question.

"What will you do, if there is a guy that is too good, too caring, too protective and sometimes too annoying? By the way, it's my friend in the office." Zoey has hidden her ident.i.ty behind an imaginary co-worker. Although these three ladies in front of her seem to ride her ask for a friend question.

"Wow! That was mmm, how should I say it? It seems you really changed Missy! You're really gaining a friend now. I thought you will forever be introvert for the rest of your life. Anyway, back to your question. Does that friend of yours like the guy?" Sweet, the soft-spoken among the three said.

"Kinda! I think she has been falling for him?" despite that, she was hiding her true feelings, she still doesn't know whether it was infatuation or adoration she is feeling for Nickel.

"Is the guy good-looking? If yes, tell her to go for him but if not, let him pa.s.s. There are still more fishes in the sea to catch." Shane hit Lisa's head without notice. "Dumb b.i.t.c.h! Not everyone is like you!" it was already a norm for them calling each other with that way. You can say that it is their way of showing that they love one another. Although Zoey and Sweet aren't like Shane and Lisa.

"f.u.c.k! That hurts! After you go home check if your pregnant okay? You are becoming too violent."

Zoey tried to recall if in her own standards she can consider Nickel as good-looking.

'Well, he is actually. Those eyes were dying for. Those pump lips are can make me crazy. Oh! I still remember how I bite it. His broad shoulder that can protect me from anything was my great wall of China.

What else? His freaking perfect physique! I wish I can always see him wearing sandos and shorts all day long.'

Zoey is drooling in the back of her head when suddenly Shane hit her head this time. (Shane you're really becoming too aggressive and violent. Tsk!)

"Awwww! What was that for?" Zoey exclaimed.

"We have been calling numerous times. What black hole did you go through?"

"Nothing. I suddenly remembered one report that I should send Monday morning. That's all." Zoey made another excuse to save herself.

"In my opinion, if your friend already likes the guy. Don't let her wear her heart on her sleeves. Tell her not to be obvious that his way is really paving its way to her heart. Let him love her first not the other way around." Said by the inexperience Sweet to Zoey's imaginary friend's love quest.

"Wow! Really? Coming from you? Hahahaha! Anyway, Sweet is right. It will be a precaution in case that guy we are talking about is just playing around. What if he is an expert playboy? Doing what sweet said that let the guy love your friend first will have her from future heart loss." Lisa second the motioned Sweet's opinion.

"Dumb b.i.t.c.h! Heartache, not heart loss!" Shane corrected. Lisa would be a perfect woman for any bachelor. Perfect body, beautiful face but she also lacks vocabulary. She usually chooses the wrong words to explain her felling or her side.

"Whatever! It's still the same."

The four of them parted ways. Zoey went to a clinic to check herself out in case of the bruise in her back will have a harmful effect on her body. She has to be careful because, since a kid, she was diagnosed to have a Thoracic Scoliosis. Even though her scoliosis won't affect her life, she still needs to be careful with her own sake.

The check-up finished after 10 minutes and the doctor didn't say anything bad. Just like what Nickel messaged her earlier that day, her bruise will heal on its own.

Zoey hailed a cab and went home.

Nickel couldn't sleep a wink after what had happened. He just realized it was already morning when he was dazzled by the sun. Nickel was still thinking about how would Zoey react or deal with him after that kiss.

'Zoey should take responsibility from taking his first kiss.' He said to himself. Much as he was really saving it to her but that circ.u.mstance was still too sudden for them. In aid to wipe away his rival, he needs to give it to her without prior notice which will because of an awkward reason for them.

'Wait! If I also have this kind of mindset, I'm nothing different with that c.o.c.kroach Cortez. I think I should say sorry to Zoey, so she will not become too distant with me.'

Nickel went out to his room and knocked on Zoey's but after his few tries there was still no one answering him except Happy's barks.

Howbeit he knew Zoey's pa.s.scode it will be inappropriate for him to intrude her house without her permission. He kept knocking until fist turns numb.

Nickel retreat into his house and tried to use his phone, but he immediately dismissed it because he thought it would be too clingy for him to give her a call.

And because of that, he was left with nothing but to wait for Monday to come.
