Once the liquid in the plate condensed further, Zhao Wei handed over his spoon to the wife to keep stiring. Walking to their warehouse, he took out a piece that looked like a gourd and pointed at it infront of the madam who instantly agreed.

From this gourd flowed a reddish colored liquid with an intoxicting fragrance. This was created not only from the fruits they collected which already tasted amazing, but also made from certain parts of beasts. This was a legendary monkey wine.

One such part was the b.a.l.l.s from the top of the Thunder Droppers horns. Usually once they dropped they'd discharge lightning, to take a ball required killing it before it's ball dropped. This was more difficult to do as when they are young, they are mostly protected by their herd and rarely came out alone.

To catch one like Zhao Wei which still had a few b.a.l.l.s attached was a combination of his luck and skill. The only chance he got to get those b.a.l.l.s was because it went out while it was young.

Other ingredients include the cores of other beasts as well. Of course, although they were called cores, it didn't necesarilly need to be at the center of their bodies, it was more towards where they focused the brunt of their energy. For Gowan, this was his eyes, and Panda, her horn.

Getting the core of beasts were difficult as it was usually also the most powerful parts of the beasts. This however, was made using tens of those cores. Although the fermenting time that it was given was short, the powerful evolved bacteria more than made up for it.

This one gourd contained the denses part of the wine which was reserved for Gowan, the rest of the wine would be shared with the whole village when it was made. If Gowan knew that Zhao Wei would come and use it, he'd have drunken it as soon as he could, even as Zhao Wei was just arriving he'd chug the whole bottle through, though the kick would leave him looking like a r.e.t.a.r.ded monkey for atleast 3 days.

Once the wine mixed in, the whole liquid turned into a maroon coloured viscous liquid that smelled part salty, part fruity, part roasted meat but all delicious. By this time the whole village had moved to the outskirts of their habitat in fear of losing their senses from the fragrance alone. Worst of all, he hadn't even finished on the sauce.

Later on many of the inhabitants would go to hunt just to avoid the fragrance and would let their aggression out on any unsuspecting beast. Which frightened the surrounding habitats, as it would seem like the primates had gone on steroids.

Finally, Zhao Wei added mushrooms, thyme, rosemary and some shallots into the mix. Adding in a little more fat to make up for the lack of salt. He'd wanted to get some for so long but there was no sea in their area which limited his options.

Next he began on a side of potatoes, crus.h.i.+ng some time he mixed it with a b.u.t.ter he'd asked the wife to churn as they required less coverage in the cold night, he made her a bowl which she'd use to whisk some beast milk to turn it into b.u.t.ter.

Once the b.u.t.ter touched the pan it began to sizzle with little bubbles, with a wooden spatula, he spread it around evenly giving the pan a layer of moisture. Next he dropped some shallots untila they were nice and tender before adding a few soup spoons of stock into the mix, just barely enough to wet the whole pan.

And the potatoes dropped in, sizzling in the beautiful mixture, giving off a delectable earthy flavor to it. They didn't leave the pan until their skin crackled, golden brown, the insides breaking at a touch but amazingly keeping it's beautiful form.

Finally, the creme de la creme of the dish was ready to be cooked. It was quite simple really, b.u.t.ter was added to a pan with garlic and thyme until their fragrance mixed into the yellow liquid. A nice cut of the venison slowly layered on top of the frying herbs to really absorb the flavor in, the sides barely touching the pan. A spoon would constantly be dipped bringing with it hot melted garlic b.u.t.ter which would be poured on to the top part of the venison, through the whole process the piece would never be flipped, ensuring the juices in the meat wouldn't escape.

It was simple enough, but Zhao Wei was at least handling 10 pieces at a time, leaving him half a second to move from piece to piece to make sure they were cooked properly.

There were more than a hundred primates in the village, if he cooked them one by one, the first ones would cook before he finished. Even the madam was helping, copying Zhao Wei's actions with the smaller pieces. If he didn't train and hunt almost every day, he'd probably fall sick just from the amount of work he had to do for each part. Just based on his work load capability alone, he'd probably be able to cover the cutting, prepping and cooking for a five star restaurant which usually had at least 7 chefs at any given time.

Once in a while he'd add some of the sauce in just so that the meat melded well later on with the introduced flavor. Once that was done, he dropped some mushrooms to soak up the liquid in the pan.

Of course in a jungle they didn't have any played to put the food, so he laid the finished food in bowls made from wide leaves and dripped a generous serving of the sauce and wrapped it in to hold the heat in.

By doing this, the fragrance was locked inside, allowing the other primates to come back. Many were actually confused as they returned as the smell was gone now, they thought they might've been late and lost out on the meal, feeling a little dejected before noticing everyone else was hungry they knew the food was still coming.
