"All the unhealthy food has been removed from the house,

it was delicious."

Delilah turned to Amy, who was sitting beside her, just two seats away. "What's wrong with you?" she asked.

Amy looked up and shook her head. "I've been receiving weird messages from Isaac."

Delilah raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What kind of messages?"

"Uhhh… Like invitations to dinner and what not…" Amy said slowly, uncertainty in her tone. A small frown creased on her forehead. She looked troubled, staring down on her phone.

Delilah suddenly smiled, a cheeky smile on her face. "I see… This seems interesting… Tell me more…" she coaxed. She leaned closer to Amy, trying to catch a glimpse of the text on Amy's phone.

Amy frowned suspiciously at Delilah. "Why do I get the feeling that you're enjoying this?" she asked, her eyes narrowing. She doesn't like the look on Delilah's face, as if she was up to something that Amy knew she wouldn't like.

Delilah shrugged, pretending to be innocent. "Well, I'm curious." She then dragged her seat closer to Amy and whispered, "To be honest, I actually suspected that Isaac was into you. Now that I think about it." She leaned back against her seat, nodding as she talks, closing her eyes.

"Why do you think so?" Amy asked, confused and curious to know Delilah's answer. She really did not have a clue about Isaac's crush.

Delilah crossed her arms across her chest, still leaning against her seat. "Well, there was one time when he actually waited for you to go home and accompany you here late at night when he could have gone home."

Amy frowned. "Doesn't he do that to you all?"

Delilah scoffed. "Please, girl. No," she disagreed, shaking her head. Why would a guy want to wait for someone unless it was a person that they like?

Amy's mouth dropped open in surprise in an 'o'. Realization suddenly dawned on her.

"I mean, he even gave me this," Amy said, holding up a cute purple keychain. "At least, I would love it more if its batman!" Amy giggled.

Delilah rolled her eyes. "I really don't understand what's going on in their mind. Do they think we women will return their feelings if they give us things?" she sneered at the guy's ignorant actions.

Amy's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Oh? Someone gifted you something?" she asked, curious.

Delilah nodded and proceeded to tell her all about Deegan and his gifts and also, how she rejected him. By the time Delilah had finished with her story, Amy laughed so loud that even Howard came out of his room to shush her.

Amy closed her mouth with both of her hands, looking apologetic. She mouthed a soft sorry at Howard, who nodded and went back in his office.

"Not only that…" Delilah continued. "Didn't Isaac requested a lot of time to work in this branch, rather than in the HQ?"

Amy frowned, suddenly in thoughts. "Isn't that because he lives nearby?"

Delilah rolled her eyes. "Girl! He lived 5 minutes away from the HQ! Why would he be willing to commute to an office that is like, nearly an hour journey??" she exclaimed, pointing out the flaws in Amy's reasoning.

Amy pursed her lips in consternation. This whole thing was still surreal for her. She still did not expect that this would happened to her. If Delilah had heard her thoughts, she would probably smacked Amy. She was actually really pretty!

Delilah shrugged. "Oh well, believe it or not. I mean, I have their CVs so I know."

Changing the topic, Amy talked about what was happening at the office. Also talking in small voices as they talked about Howard. About what he has been doing and how he was always skipping work. Delilah could only listen and take notes. Delilah actually knew about Howard's skipping work but she can't do anything about it. The last time she reported this to Aubree and Aubree, in return, reported to Matt. There were still no action against Howard until now. The two of them were pretty sure that Matt did not do anything because he really depend on Howard.

Since Delilah had missed lunch as she came here straight from the HQ, she decided to have her late lunch now. She went over to Howard's office, asking whether she could bring Amy along to accompany her. Howard nodded, saying that he will be in the office anyway.

So, the two of them went out, not before placing a signboard on the receptionist table that reads, 'On the break'. Delilah asked Amy what was she craving.

Amy tapped her chin as they walked to Delilah's car. "What about some D'Tacos?"

Delilah nodded. "Sure, lets go."

The two of them got into the car and drive off to D'Tacos. D'Tacos was a restaurant that only served French Tacos. It was a bit like burrito or wrap but it has everything sealed inside, including french fries.

Minutes later, they arrived at the restaurant. Delilah swiftly parked her car and the two of them walked in the restaurant. The restaurant itself was not that big with a huge counter for ordering. It has an open kitchen as well, where patrons were able to see how they made the french tacos. The chairs and tables were all made of light metal. It was a quaint and quiet restaurant.

The two of them placed their order and waited for the bell to ring, to inform them that their food was ready to pickup.

Shortly after, their food arrived. The french taco was wrapped in grease paper and it felt heavy. It was a bit difficult for Delilah to unwrap the paper, scared that everything might break apart. She had ordered beef sausages, chicken tenders, cheese and french fries with spicy mayonnaise as her sauce.

The french taco felt thick in her hands as she brought it up to her mouth to have a bite. The juices from the beef sausages and chicken tenders slide down her fingers as she munched. The melted cheese mixed with the spicy mayonnaise beautifully, giving a creamy and tangy taste. The french fries were thick but it soften when mixed with the sauce. It felt satisfying and fulfilling.

The french tacos was huge but the two of them managed to finish it. Though, they had to rest for awhile because they were too full to move from their seat.

Once they were done resting, they went back to the office where they continued their work.

At the office, Delilah was surfing the internet since she was done with her work.

Howard walked in from the front door, making them looked up in surprise. They did not notice that he was out all this while, even if there were some people still in the office. Apparently, Howard went out to his car to grab some things and he had used the back exit to go out.

Howard walked over to Delilah and told her to come up to the second floor to the pantry room with him. She nodded and followed him upstairs.

Inside the pantry room, the cupboards were all open. There were a lot of potato chips and crackers inside the cupboards. Delilah looked around in surprise. 'Where did all these come from?' she wondered.

Howard swiftly grabbed all the chips and crackers and stuffed them in a huge plastic bag. He then handed them over to Delilah. "Here you go," he said.

Delilah frowned. "What's this?" she asked, confused.

"The other day we bought too much snacks and we could not finish them all. And I think Amy got tired of it so I'm giving them to you to bring it to the office. I bet Aubree and Firah would love them."

Delilah peeked inside the bag and smiled. "They DEE-finitely would love this!"
