Chapter 112 Who Was the More Malicious One

With much tenderness and pa.s.sion, Leng Changxi held Qin Yunuan down on the bed high-handedly. After he finished his work in the Royal City, he rode his piebald horse as rapid as the wind to meet with his little hedgehog before Qin Yunuan went to sleep. He should go back before dawn. Leng Changxi believed that he had the right to have a good taste of the hedgehog who was held down by him.

“Ah…” Qin Yunuan’s lips must turn to be red and swollen now. She groaned shyly by the strong muscle’s suppression of Leng Changxi. Her groaning was deeply moving surprisingly, which made Qin Yunuan shudder, so did Leng Changxi who was lying on the body of Qin Yunuan and kissing her wantonly.

Just due to the groaning of Qin Yunuan, Leng Changxi who was crazily digging the mouth of the sweet spring, stopped suddenly. He reached out his arms to support him. Under the moonlight, his face seemed to be carved subtly and even the slightly curving radian of his jaw was so perfect. With his wheat skin, he was involved into the mild moonlight. Qin Yunuan felt a quicker heartbeat even when she just glimpsed at Leng Changxi.

Qin Yunuan noticed that Leng Changxi did not wear his mask. At this moment, he was so brave to show his real face in front of her. He trusted her very much as she always believed him too.

Leng Changxi seemed to forbear his l.u.s.t. n.o.body would know that Leng Changxi was dying to occupy Qin Yunuan and get integrated with her after she groaned slightly. He wanted to caress her pa.s.sionately and hoped that he could take her with him, so he would not be so painful when he missed this girl.

After the pa.s.sionate caress, Qin Yunuan still blushed. She did not know how many lures she showed to Leng Changxi just now. She thought Leng Changxi was jealous of those trivial things because he was always stingy about Qin Yunuan’s communication with other men. But she loved his jealousy.

“Why did you come here?” Qin Yunuan said with the remaining ambiguity. She pushed the chest of Leng Changxi lightly because he made her a little bit painful.

But Leng Changxi suppressed her more closely and asked, “What? Don’t you want to see me here?” n.o.body knew how toilsomely his piebald horse ran.

Qin Yunuan lowered her eyes with her eyelash blinking. Leng Changxi could not help but stared at her for a long time. How pretty this shy hedgehog was!

“Absolutely not,” Qin Yunuan said sincerely.

“I am happy to hear your response.” Leng Changxi laughed and then turned his body to lie on the bed of Qin Yunuan naturally. He crossed her hands to put them back to his head, added casually, “I miss you so I come here.”

Leng Changxi turned his head but found Qin Yunuan was t.i.ttering. Her t.i.tter seemed to contain much charm and words, which made him very curious.

“What’s up?”

Qin Yunuan turned her head to look straightly at Leng Changxi’s profound eyes. She lay down suddenly beside Leng Changxi and moved to the chest of Leng Changxi. A single maiden’s intimate contact with a man was very undisciplined in the circle of n.o.bles in Qi. But Leng Changxi was not an ordinary person so he could not obey those rules. Qin Yunuan experienced two lives and now she just knew that she should cherish the life and the people close to her. It was enough that she loved him and he loved her too.

“I miss you too and then you come.” Qin Yunuan said very gently but Leng Changxi heard her words clearly. He naturally reached his arm to hold the thin shoulder of Qin Yunuan, and he could feel the cold skin of her across the thinnish gauze. In the hot summer, Qin Yunuan was always cold so he wanted to stay closer to her.

“Why you feel so cold?” and then Leng Changxi reached his hand to touch the face of Qin Yunuan. He felt the warmth on her face, especially after their pa.s.sionate caress just now, “Do you catch a cold?”

Qin Yunuan shook her head and expressed her satisfaction unconsciously. She felt content to lie on the arm of Leng Changxi.

“So why are you so cold?” Leng Changxi touched the arm of Qin Yunuan again.

“By nature,” Qin Yunuan said, “When I was young, my mother found some doctors to check me. We thought it was just because cold-energy got pent-up in my body. Actually, I just have a lower body temperature in summer compared with others.”

Leng Changxi laughed and then put his head onto the neck of Qin Yunuan. He was still sweaty due to his journey in a hurry, and now the cold hedgehog could be the best soft pillow for lowering the temperature.

“I feel not so good,” Qin Yunuan did not stop Leng Changxi hiding in her hug like a child, “In winter, I seem to be colder than others and my hands and feet are always chill.”

Leng Changxi reached his head and kissed her blus.h.i.+ng face pa.s.sionately. He said in a hoa.r.s.e voice with the unique sound ray and charm, “I am here and I can warm you.”

Qin Yunuan could not help but laugh. But then a light sound came from outside, as gentle as a breeze blowing willows. Qin Yunuan knew that was not ordinary.

Leng Changxi sat up suddenly, who had a more sensitive sense than others, and then he found Qin Yunuan was very calm. In a flash, he understood and said in a low voice, “It’s your plot?”

Leng Changxi smiled relaxingly after Qin Yunuan nodded with a smile, but soon he frowned again. Now there were only three n.o.ble people in Xiangguo Temple, Qin Yunuan, Infanta Shuhua and Imperial Concubine Jing.

The moment Leng Changxi thought about that crazy woman, his face turned to be cold, “Was it she that played tricks to you?”

Qin Yunuan shook her head, “Not sure. But I know there is someone from the Imperial Palace who wants to kill me.”

Leng Changxi felt guilty, “It’s my negligence.”

“It’s not your fault,” Qin Yunuan reached her hands to comfort Leng Changxi, “It’s due to the backstab. Now many people are staring at us in the dark. You can protect me several times but you can’t save me for the whole life. Don’t worry. I can handle this by myself.”

“You are my girl and I have to protect you,” Leng Changxi said determinedly, “Leng Wu is male so it is not convenient for him to protect you. I have let Leng Wu write a letter to invite his young sister Leng Shuang to protect you as your close maidservant. She is from a famous school of martial arts who is comparable with Leng Wu.”

“That will waste her talent?” Qin Yunuan thought Leng Wu was so powerful and his job as a shadow guard following Leng Changxi would waste his talents. Now there was another swordswoman comparable with Leng Wu. She is from a famous school of martial arts and she would be the close maidservant of Qin Yunuan.

“It is her pleasure to protect the girl I like,” Leng Changxi said seriously.

And then they found that the sound seemed to be louder outside.

“The fish swallows the bait,” Qin Yunuan suddenly smile.

Leng Changxi wore his mask after he looked at Qin Yunuan for a minute. He reached his hands to pull Qin Yunuan into his hug. He laughed after he saw Qin Yunuan felt a little bit surprised, “It’s not enough to see the fish swallowing the bite. We’d better watch the whole show.”

Almost in a flash, Leng Changxi held the waist of Qin Yunuan and then jumped up onto the beam of the room. Under the moonlight, a breeze in summer blew the tousy hair of Qin Yunuan, which showed a unique charm.

“I saw a person when I came here,” Leng Changxi said as he held Qin Yunuan and then jumped onto another beam without any sound. And then he stopped and said with a smile, “He is Dou Xianghuai.”

Qin Yunuan heard about this name for the first time from Qin Yuzhao. She remembered that Qin Yuzhao said Imperial Concubine Jing once had an affair with Dou Xianghuai. She was surprised that Dou Xianghuai came to Xiangguo Temple firstly after he entered the Royal City. She guessed that Dou Xianghuai came to see Imperial Concubine Jing. n.o.body would know their meet was the lovers’ reunion or brawl.

After a while, Leng Changxi jumped exactly onto a room with somber lights. Qin Yunuan knew that was the room of Imperial Concubine Jing. People in that room seemed to be awake and they could hear the talk which was not between Imperial Concubine Jing and her eunuchs and maidservants. The two people seemed to be quarreling. Leng Changxi found a thin and light tile rightly and then lifted it stably without any sound.

Now they could hear and saw clearly their talk and move. Qin Yunuan was held by Leng Changxi and observed the room.

The man who was quarreling with Imperial Concubine Jing was a man. He was Dou Xianghuai that Leng Changxi had met.

“Why do you come here? It’s Xiangguo Temple. Young Master Dou, you are more unscrupulous now.”

“Humph, unscrupulous? I am not as unbridled as you, Lu Jinghua. Your face was destroyed several months ago. How long does your skin mask maintain? Three years? Five years? Do you want to flatter the old emperor by this skin mask always?”

“Bang,” that was a loud slap.

“Flatter? Yes, I, Lu Jinghua, was a perverted woman. I have been flattering men for my whole life. I flattered you nine years ago. You let me be the imperial concubine to send you the intelligence. I did it but then? You married the daughter of Shen Family and got rid of me. Now I got love from my emperor. Why do you come here?”

“Leave him! Come back to me,” Dou Xianghuai said straightly.

“Leave who? Emperor? Why should I leave him? I gain much jewelry and attention by flattering him. How about you? Dou Family is declining by many powers and I am one of those powers. I am waiting for witnessing that your proudness is destroyed totally. I am happy to see that, and I am willing to see that.”

“No! I mean, you should leave Leng Changxi!”
