"I am sure we will Xuyi." Jasmine spoke with a genuine smile but Xuyi suddenly did the unexpected. She immediately hugged Jasmine as tight as she could. She never had friends after her village was destroyed and she gained a new one after three thousand years. Jasmine however, didn't resist it as Xuyi spoke louf enough for her to hear. "I am going to miss you."

She lets her go and turned towards Yun Che. "Yun Che, train Cang Xue's descendant in my place. How I wish to see her grew up into someone spectacular one day."

"Don't worry. One day, her name will reach the heavens itself. Right now, she's the Blue Moon Princess. Tomorrow, she's a Blue Moon Empress. Then, The Blue Moon G.o.d Empress." He spoke as he knew what kind of destiny stored for Cang Yue.

"I'll take you up in that offer and one more thing…."

Now it was Yun Che's turn to get her hug. She slowly shed her tears to the man who fulfilled his destiny. "Thank you….. thank you for setting me free…. "

"No… I am sorry to kept you waiting. For three thousand years at that."

"Haha, yes. You kept me waiting but it was all worth it."

"Then, are you ready?"

"Wait…. Below the arena outside this pyramid is a special vault I built to store all my spoils of war from before I became an Empress and maybe some things as well. So, I don't think I need any of those things anymore. Feel free to do whatever you want with them. Also…..Can you lay my body to rest? For years, it lays in waiting for the warmth of sunlight to showers it with its light."

"I'll be sure to check it out and I'll lay your body to rest. So, are you truly ready this time?"

Xuyi nodded her head but she instantly raised her hands once more and spoke "Wait, one last message. Don't worry about getting out of here. The moment my coffin is removed and the Apple's taken, you will automatically teleport back to the arena. Also, behind the secret vault is the only way out of this tomb, be warned that only one person can step into the formation and sent to a random location far away from the formation that brought you here. The other will be sent back to the original formation. I do hope you make a correct choice. The formation also will activate the self-destruct mechanism and sealed this place forever. I think no one will ever know about this place ever again."

"Noted…. So any more things I should know about?"

"Noooope…., I am ready." Xuyi spoke as she stood in front them while smiling earnestly. For once, all the burdens she bares until now were finally gone. She felt lighter as if the day before she found the Apple. Yun Che nodded towards Jasmine before pulling out Zangetsu. Since this is the first time he does this, he had to be extra careful. He positions Zangetsu behind him and pointing the hilt towards her.

"This is how you send her to the afterlife?" Jasmime asked him.

"Yes, by pressing the hilt of a Zanpakuto on a soul's forehead. We will initiate a 'Konso' or 'Soul Burial'. Usually, this method will send them to the afterlife of this world of course." He explained to her as his eyes were fixed on Xuyi. He might not be able convince her to stay but at least she's finally in peace.

"Well, Xuyi. Have a safe trip." With that, Yun Che pressed the hilt of his sword on Xuyi's forehead. Then, Xuyi was suddenly covered with white lights all over her body. Her figure was illuminating in the air transforming her into the most beautiful person even fairies paled in comparison. In her mind, the light was the warmest sensation she ever felt.

As she bathes in the lights, she was slowly ascending to the afterlife. Taking a look at Yun Che and Jasmine for one last time, she shouted "Yun Che, Jasmine… When I am reincarnated in the future. I'll be sure to seek you two. Once more, thank you." With that, Xuyi has finally pa.s.sed away leaving behind her great legacy and a bright smile. Xuyi slowly ascended to the afterlife pa.s.sing all the soul restricted formation she cast. When she arrived at the outside world, she took one last look at the world she'll be leaving behind. The endless sea, the ma.s.sive land and the infinite skies were in her views once more. She hoped to finally witness the scene as she made her journey vowing to meet the two of them once more.

"You better be….." Jasmine murmured under her breath. Unknown to Yun Che, she slowly shed a single tear as she witnesses her new friend make a grand pa.s.sing to the afterlife. But when she turned her head, she saw Yun Che was pressing his hands together just like when he prayed at the shrine back in his previous world. Seeing his actions, she distracted herself and asked "What are you doing?"

"Making a wish. I wish for her to be reincarnated as someone with a wonderful family. I don't know whether her memories will be intact but I do hope we can see her again. Don't worry, we'll see her again. Who knows she might reincarnate as... Probably your best friend in the future." Seeing his actions, Jasmine nodded before she did the same as well. If he made her wish for Xuyi then it's not wrong for her to make the same as well. She pressed her hands together before speaking her wish in her heart.

Yun Che slowly patted Jasmine's head before he spoke "It's fine. We'll meet her again. If we do, I'll introduce her to Retsu and the others. So what did you wish for?"

"Hmph, as if this princess needed to tell you."

"*Sigh…. Hai…hai…" Yun Che just nodded his head before he made his way to Xuyi's body. He observed her resting body as he remembered all those hard times she went through just for her to rest in this coffin. Slowly waved his hand, her entire coffin was transported into his ma.s.sive inventory. He did plan to let her rest in his inner world but he had another plan in mind. Xuyi probably wanted to laid rest in her birthplace, the sanctuary she spoke before which is also her hometown.

Suddenly, a formation started to activate from beneath their feet covering Jasmine and Yun Che's body. Now that the apple and coffin were taken, the chamber had fulfilled its purpose and the teleporting formation Xuyi had mentioned before was activated. Yun Che took one last look at the chamber that became Huan Xuyi or the Moon Empress place for one thousand years. Must be boring in here without anyone to talk to. It's a good thing she didn't went mad because of the loneliness. In a split second, both of them were teleported back to the arena leaving behind the chamber that slowly powering down. The markings, linings and the bridge slowly powering down leaving behind the dark and empty room until the end of time.
