"You…. you... I was right.... You're from the inner lands!! Aren't you?!?" As the Yan family head spoke, the rest of his men along with the royal family's men instantly petrified. She's someone from the inner lands. It means she came from a great power that a small family like them isn't dumb enough to offend. In an instant, ice started to form on his legs before he could even react. The ice slowly covered his legs before moving towards his waist and started to surround his entire body. He could only scream in pain as he shouted "NO!!! NO!! I JUST ATTAINED THIS POWER AND I AM GOING TO DIE LIKE THIS?!?! Please!! Spare me!! Spare me!!"

Then, the rest was silence as the ice made it to his head before freezing him all together forming an ice sculpture of him. The rest of the men including the first prince dropped their weapons.

"Is this the power of the inner lands?" The king spoke internally as he witnessed the fairy's true power. A simple wave of her delicate hand is enough to reduce the strongest of their kingdom into mere icicle.

The first prince could only grit his teeth as he fell on his knees to the ground. "Why…. why…? Why did this woman come out of nowhere to save him? This is always about him!! It's not fair... I am the eldest. She should help me instead of him…. WHY!!!?!?!"

All of a sudden, the wind from her aura pushed the freezing statue from the gateway towards the stone path and...…

The sculpture of the Yan head's clan was instantly shattered just like his technique. In an instant, the power of the Yan family was instantly collapsed as they lost their strongest backing. The men from the family instantly dropped their weapons and knelled towards the fairy.

The lovely fairy felt a huge amount of sickness hearing these excuses from them. It was common where the weak would beg for their lives as they lost their ultimate backings. There's nothing she can gained from killing these ants. She decided to let the men from the king's side to bestow their judgement.

Now that everything is over, the king simply walked towards his kneeling brother and spoke "Give yourself up brother, there's nothing gained from this pointless fight." The king slowly approaches his elder brother before staring him as he knelled on the ground.

"Nothing to gain? If I am going to die. Then, I'll take you with me!!!" The first prince instantly pounced towards his brother but as he leaped in the air. The air around him suddenly froze before starting to freeze him on the spot. Before he even realized it, he was turned into an ice sculpture as well. It was instant and the king could only widen his eyes as his older brother was instantly froze before the weight carried him to the ground.

Just like the clan leader, he too was reduced to a mere ice rubble. The king regained his composure but started to sigh. His brother was killed before he could do something about it. It was justified that he was willing to kill him and the fairy just froze him before he could do anything. The king steeled his heart as he turned around before cupping his hands to the beautiful fairy. "This lowly king wishes to thank you on behalf of the royal family. If the fair lady didn't come, we might be perished in the hands of these traitors."

The fairy simply nodded as she spoke "I had my fun and I wish to leave. But, it is wise for you to uphold your end of the bargain."

"Ah…yes… The imperial adviser will bring the map of the Empire to me." With haste, he ordered his men to clean up the mess and bring the Imperial Protectors who fell just now into treatment. Now that the men of the Yan family lost their backing, they will be spared to compensate the lost men from the Royal family. The king sigh in defeat as he could not talk the fairy into his favor but points for trying. He nodded his head and shows her the map. "Yes…. based on this map, the direction of the city you are referring to is in this direction. If you go by a horse or carriage, it will take roughly a month to reach the city. I will prepare a special carriage for you."

"I require no such thing. Thank you for providing me the way." She cupped her delicate hands before she slowly ascended towards the sky. Using her profound energy, she instantly disappeared towards the mountain leaving behind a warm and cold aura. The king and his men were speechless as they witness the capabilities of the fairy. He once heard a legendary realm where humans could take flight and he was immediately shocked as her strength was much more powerful than he could imagine. Even if he couldn't distinguish it perfectly, that kind of power is enough to take down the whole kingdom if she wanted to.

The remaining men and the king watch her departing back before all of them knelled to the ground in grat.i.tude. They should be the one who thanked the fairy for saving their kingdom from destruction all for a single direction. Whoever she is meeting, he or she must be lucky for obtaining such attention from the fairy. He immediately had the best artisan to paint her beautiful figure as a remainder her deeds to the kingdom. No matter what, he could not forget her beautiful and alluring figure as she descended from the heavens to bring salvation to him. His only regret was he didn't even gaze her true face as he turned his head to the mountain every time he walked the courtyard.

She was none other than the fairy who was saved from the collapsing tomb of the Empire's first ruler, Chu Yueli.
