A bright light suddenly covers Yun Che and Jasmine closes her eyes. It was only a moment but when Jasmine opens her eyes, she saw him. He was wearing a black outfit and he was holding a large khyber shaped sword behind his head. He was wearing a red strap from his right shoulder until his waist.

She was shocked, totally shocked.

Jasmine couldn't even feel the energy that was coming out from him. She could see it clearly but she couldn't feel it at all. The energy carries high amount of power and suppression. He felt her shoulders were carrying a heavy weight.

"Is this convincing enough?" Yun Che said while laying down suppression on her.He didn't use much because he knew Jasmine was weak right now. Using too much, Jasmine might never trust him anymore.

She heard Yun Che's voice talking to her. She felt like she was standing in front of death itself. The suppression was strong enough to kill any low level pract.i.tioner. She didn't faint because of her strong pride and willpower.

"Is this the might of a G.o.d?" She asked herself.

"Whaaaa..t…are ..you?" Jasmine asked while looking at him.

Jasmine felt her body was light once more. She finally gets a good look at him. His outfit looked quite the same when he met her in the forest. Except this one wasn't covered by a brown cloak. Accompany by his black hair and face, he looked quite cool in her eyes.

Yun Che immediately removed the suppression and sheath Zangetsu on his back.

"We are known as s.h.i.+nigami. You can call us Death G.o.d or Soul Reapers. We reap the souls of the deceased and guide them to the afterlife. We are also responsible in purifying wicked souls that roams the earth." Yun Che said with confidence.

He didn't want to tell everything to Jasmine. He wanted her to know what s.h.i.+nigami really is.

"We?" Jasmine said slowly.

"I am not the only Soul Reaper in my world." Yun Che said while looking at her.

"I thought you couldn't cultivate?" Jasmine slowly regains herself and asked him.

"Sigh....In our world, we are known as Spirit Cultivators. We cultivate the spirit energy within us in order to gain strength to purify the souls. "When a human died, their souls are separated from the body and connected by a chain. This chain is the one binding the soul to the body. When they died, the chain will be separated from the body and soul reapers will send them on their way. However, if the body is destroyed, the soul can be attached to a new body by the soul reaper as long as the soul is still alive."

"In your case however, your soul survived after your body was destroyed. You might not see it but a s.h.i.+nigami like me able to see your soul chain as clear as day.
