They were currently in the New Moon Profound Palace's jungle hunting for profound beast to use for lunch. At the same time, they are hunting hollows wandering around the forest for level up. Which is futile because hollows aren't around to begin with. Probably hunted by disciples patrolling the area.

"You…. People would kill to have your cultivation method. Instead of training to be the best, you wanted to be a useless lazy b.u.m?" Jasmine sounded walking beside him and Retsu.

Jasmine breathe a breath of relief. For too long she has been stuck in Yun Che's inner world. She really wanted to come out but Little Fairy's presence had been bugging her ever since.

When she hide herself, she can't observe anything happening in the outside world and count on Retsu and him to tell her about the recent events. Which is nothing interesting happening around them.

"Well…." Yun Che begin to recaps the 'wonderful' things happening around him this morning.

The morning came by without any warning. But this time, the palace was on high alert. Last night was the most bizarre thing happened to the sect. Disciples from over the palace swarming to the palace's courtyard to see the source of the tremor last night. Even palace's supreme elders weren't spared into investigating the last night's event.

Without any warning, a deep giant crescent moon shaped trench was formed on the palace's square. Witness disciples state that a blue light suddenly came out of nowhere and hit the courtyard at night. No traces of profound energy were used on it. As if the cause was traceless and impossible to identified.

As for Yun Che, he was sleeping like a log unaware of the ruckus he had cause when he killed that orc. He thought his morning was going to be normal. As he thought it was….

"Zzzzzz…."

"Young master, its morning. Please wake up." He heard Retsu's sweet and alluring voice shakes him from his slumber.

"Zzzzzz…I don't wanna go to school, mom." He randomly blurted out in his sleep.

"Yun Che, it's time for training." Then, another voice enters his ears. This time it was an alluring voice but with the hint of strictness in the voice.

"Zzzzz…Five more minutes…." Yun Che ignores the voice and immediately went back to his slumber.

"That's it," Yun Che suddenly felt his right ear was being dragged by something harder. He fell from the bed he was sleeping onto the floor. Looks like the owner of that voice really dislike tolerance at all when it comes to him.

"Owowowow…All right..all right.. I am up…I am up.." Yun Che opened his eyes and he can see a giggling Retsu beside a very cold face Little Fairy staring at him.

"You spent your morning lazing around every day without any training at all. We're get to training this instant." Little Fairy started to drag Yun Che by the ear towards the door.

"But I haven't taken a shower yet." He tried making an excuse to skip training this time.

"Training comes first." She still drags him by the ear towards the main door. Retsu followed closely behind them while giggling. She didn't say anything if this is a good thing for Yun Che.

After a round of beating, Retsu helped restoring Yun Che back to his original state using her healing kido arts. They're sitting neat the courtyard's fountain after training all morning. Compared to him, Retsu was in a better shape.

"Owow…ow.. Little Fairy, care to holding back for once?" Even though his body was tough. Little Fairy was still stronger than him. So her strikes were still merciless when it comes to him. She was nicer and holding back when it comes to Retsu.

"Hmph, that's your punishment for causing a big ruckus last night." She recalls his stunt last night. It was a wise decision to eliminate his opponent but he didn't have to cause a lot of ruckus for it.

"Can't help it, he was treating my family. Anyone threatening the ones I cared about will perish." He defended himself. Well, he did eliminate that orc with the most bizarre way as possible.

"That includes me, young master?" Retsu asked him even though she already knew what he was going to say.

"That goes without saying, anyone threaten you, Yuanba and my family will have to face my blade. Count on it." Yun Che says with a grin before Retsu jumped and hugged him.

Little Fairy went silent. She never knew the feeling of protecting someone she cared about. From the day she started to cultivate, all she cared about is herself. She was born with no one to relied on except herself. That's why she was able to successfully cultivate the Frozen Cloud Arts. Now, when she heard Yun Che was defending someone he cared about, she felt the sense of envy. She knew she was strong to protect anyone but she never knew the feeling of being protected.

She suddenly stood up and coldly says "I am going in my room to cultivate. You two can do as you please." She hurriedly walks back to the manor.

"Young master, is sister YueChan all right?" She looked worriedly watching her retreating back.

"Who knows?" Yun Che unknowingly said.

Back in her room, she leaned herself against the door while looking at Yun Che and Retsu who are still in the courtyard. "Rascal, am I one of the person you cared about?"

Present time.

"So she had you beaten all morning?" Jasmine asked him while suppressing her urge to laugh at his misfortune.

"Yeah, at least today I broke through a level because of her." Yun Che ignores her grin and answers her questions.

"If you keep this up, she might mistake you for a pervert who loves getting hit." She said again.

"It's the only way, if I had any other method. I would try it."

Currently, Yun Che and Retsu were strolling around the forest outside the palace to begin their regular Hollow killing spree. Little Fairy didn't follow them because she was cultivating her profound art in the manor. Because of that, Jasmine was able to came out without anyone to bother with. Jasmine was bored staying in his inner world. Most of the time she spends with the twin little spirit as their big sister. Other than that, she tried more outfits provided by s.h.i.+rayuki for her. Right now, she was finally able to come out after one month of confinement in his inner world.

"So what are we going to do today?" Jasmine asked him once more. Looking forward to their little activity for the day.

"Originally, I was planning to do some level up as well as hunting for some beast meat. Retsu said she want to tried to cook a different set of meals this time." He explains while Retsu smiled at her.

"Young master wanted to teach me a new meal today. Sister Yue Chu wanted to taste my cooking again." Retsu explains to her again.

"Then, let me scout the area for a while. It's been a while for me in the outside world." Jasmine slowly jumped up the tree and begin her scouting. She was actually looking forward to her cooking rather than eating anything from his inventory. Her cultivation finally regained back to Spirit Profound Realm, she kind of wanted to let of some steam while at it.

Jasmine suddenly disappears from them to begin her sightseeing. All of a sudden….

"Junior brother! Junior sister!" a voice sounded from the distance slowly approaching them.

"Sister Cang… I mean Sister Xuorue, what are you doing here?" Retsu asked her friend.

"Me…Hehe… I was on my contribution mission. Are you two on mission as well?" She slowly said to them. She was alone this time without any company. Usually, Murong Ye would tailed her everywhere but since he was defeated yesterday, Cang Yue never felt so relieved to travel alone for once.

"Nah…we're hunting." Yun Che casually said.

"That's it? No mission to collect contribution points?" Asked a confused Cang Yue. Contribution mission are common among disciples and for them to be here of all place without any mission isn't that normal to begin with.

"Contribution points?" Retsu said being confused.

"Contribution points, you can collect them to exchange for weapons, items, healing pills or cultivation art. You two didn't want to exchange for anything" She briefly explains to her.

"Nope, those points didn't mean anything for us." Yun Che casually said while Retsu nods.

"….." Cang Yue was speechless. Looks like she wouldn't understand the perspective of this thing from their eyes.

"Ehem, By the way, have you heard about the giant trench this morning? Rumors said experts fighting and cause the trench to appear. Some said it was the birth of a treasure. Do you two know anything about it?" She asked them again.

"Well, who knows?" Yun Che said while looking sideways. He couldn't say he was the culprit just like that.

"Also, have you heard you two cause a ruckus this morning at the contribution hall as well?"

"What did we do, Sister Xuorue?" Retsu asked her. As far as they concern, they straight away went to the forest after training this morning.

"Apparently, the disciples are gathering to see what kind of missions you two are going to take. Some of them planning to form a group with you. Now, disciples are fighting which one of them you are going to choose but none of you two showed up this morning." She explains to them about the situation at the contribution hall.

"Leaches, always sticking to the strong." Retsu said flatly.

"We didn't want to gather points at all. All we wanted to do was hunting for food and training. Whatever they wanted to do is none of our concern." Yun Che replied.

"Then, Its not wrong for me to ask your help from time to time right?" Since they are not concern with those disciples. She'll be the only one that can ask for their help.

"Sure, we had time to spare." Yun Che casually said.

"Let me finish this mission first before getting back to you two. See you later, Junior brother and sister." She bowed to them before leaving for her mission with a happy face. Looks like she's going to earn big time after this.

All of sudden, Jasmine appeared out of nowhere after Cang Yue left them. "So anything happen while I was away?"

"Oh, just Cang Yue asked for our help in her contribution. So shall we begin our killing spree?" He asked her while preparing Zangetsu for action.

"Then, whoever kills the less has to cook for lunch." Jasmine said challenging them before disappearing into the woods once more.

"Sister Jasmine, Young master. I am not losing to you two again." Retsu suddenly disappears leaving Yun Che behind.

"Oh, you two are so on." Yun Che stores Zangetsu before flashed step into the woods as well.

For the next three weeks, Yun Che had been training every morning with Retsu and Little Fairy. She had them train their bodies until they finally broken through to Sky Profound Realm. She was able to let off some steam after Yun Che's constant teasing against her. Sometimes, she used her profound arts against him and her hand to hand combat skills.

Jasmine didn't stay outside for too long. She spends her time with Yun Che and Retsu in the afternoon as well as helping them in their hollow killing spree. Most of the hollows they found were just in the True Profound Realm boundary. Right now, the experience for them to breakthrough was quite vast and these smaller hollows is not going to cut it. To kill some time, Yun Che and Retsu tried attending some of the palace's lectures which was too boring to attend to.

The funny thing is the cla.s.s beauties often flock to Yun Che's side to get to know him better. Which females resist strong man who can defeat a True Profound Realm master just like that. However, most of them didn't managed to get to know him because Retsu scare them before they could get even close. The only one was close to them was Cang Yue who was under disguise. They are puzzled because she was the one who can be friends with them as if they know each other for a long time. As for Murong Ye, he was glaring at them the entire time. His last defeat causes him absolute humiliation, he tried to use his father's powers against him. But with the help of Qin Wuyou and Cang Yue, he went quiet.

As for Cang Yue, her relations.h.i.+p with Yun Che and Retsu went well. Aside from coming to their manor to hang out, she always asked for their help in earning contribution points. She gets more than she hoped when it comes to them. Retsu treated her just like sister than a friend. She noticed that Cang Yue often stares at Yun Che during his training session and a small smile can see from her face. This young master of hers really good in attracting women. However, the women he attracted must gain her approval before they could make a move. If not, she just chased them away like nymphs and harpies.

At some time, They met Supreme Elder Wu Nie who accused them killing his grandson but he has no absolute proof that he perished under their hands. There's nothing he could do as long as they're in the palace. If he waited for them to come out, Qin Wuyou always have someone watching their backs. The night of the banquet.....

Yun Che's room was sounded a loud knocking on the door.

"Brother-in-law, …. are you awake yet? The banquet is almost about to start, are we still going?" Xia Yuanba knocked on the door. His successful training allow him to breakthrough to the Eight level of Nascent Profound Realm. The same realm as his dazzling senior brother Murong Ye. His brother in law was right, he must have absolute determination to breakthrough successfully. Couple with the pills he gave him, three weeks was the best training weeks for Yuanba.

Xia Yuanba knew in his heart what may happen at this banquet, so he didn't really want Yun Che to attend it. This is because tonight is the night they are looking forward to. The night where everything is going to change and his brother in law might leave him once more.

Yun Che opened his eyes and quickly got up from the bed. "Of course I'm going! Give me a minute, we'll go at once!"

"Brother in law, are you sure about this? If you do this and there's no turning back." Yuanba look him with concerned and pleading eyes.

"Of course, Yuanba. The preparations are complete. All we need now is to execute the plans." Yun Che explains to him a while ago with their plan. To avoid being suspected, Yun Che instructed him to be as his usual self once the banquet ends. Looks like he needs to say his goodbyes earlier than expected.

"Young master, I am ready." Retsu appeared from behind him after packing her things. Since she can use the system's interface, she just stored everything inside her inventory. She can't use the full administrator just like Yun Che but she was able to store her items in her own inventory slot. She also can access to her skills and stats through it.

"Let's depart at once. Yuanba, Lead the way."

"Eh, Where's senior Yue Chu?" Yuanba asked him since he didn't see Little Fairy with them this time.

"She left early to observe from the top. Don't worry, she'll be fine."

Once they depart, Retsu holds Yun Che's hand and sadly whispered to him. "Young master, I am going to miss this manor."

"I know. It's been fun for the last three weeks. That manor holds a lot but short memories." Yun Che and Retsu turned around to look at the manor that will one day become the New Moon Profound Palace main attraction as the home of the two legendary beings of the palace. But, that's a story for another day.
