So I went downstairs to borrow a needle from my mom. Meanwhile Carolinia and Rain went to get some 'thread'. We met back upstairs in my room and got ready to operate.
"Let us know if it hurts, ok?"
"I will. Trust me, I will."
So I threaded the needle (which was very difficult) and began carefully st.i.tching the wing together again. I tried to st.i.tch evenly and I think it turned out pretty good.
"There." I said proudly. "All better."
"Thanks." Rain was happily checking it over in a hand mirror.
About that time, mom called us for dinner.
