BERTRIM ACADEMY 15 Chapter 15: Rivalry???

Two weeks, then another 6 weeks, overall it has been two months and no progress locating her. He can't even date a.n.a.lyze other than being her companion for now. Today he was trying to look for a person he would interview regarding the school foundation and to do a report.

"How hard could it be to look for a person to talk too?" Akira muttered to himself until he found Carl.

"Hey, Carl right? I've heard you could help me." Akira asked.

"Did Ana told you about me?" He asked back.

"She just suggested you, knowing you are a senior and one of the school 'smart guys'. No offense, a.n.a.lyze thinks that you are knowledgeable." Akira explained hoping he didn't offended him to leave.

"Whatever, you will find all you want to know in the library, while the rest would be explained when you're in soph.o.m.ore year. I'm sorry I can't help you these time. I have a lot of things to do." Carl explained and left.

"What the....?" Akira said to himself while sitting beside Arthur.

"What do you mean?" Arthur ask after hearing him.

"Its just a weird conversation with Carl. I was trying to get an interview with him. He did not even let me ask him the real question." Akira said getting annoyed.

"So... in short you did not get it done nor got what you need?"
Arthur ask him.

"YES! he just left and told me to look at the library. Really! I should have done that if they didn't specifically told us to interview." Akira answered trying not to raise his voice.

"Well why don't you try using the internet and look for someone who would be your reference or to verify with."
Arthur suggested without glancing at Akira.

"I thought of that as my last resort. Thank you anyway. So, can I borrow your laptop then?"
Akira answered and asked.

"Just curious, for someone who is rich, why do you not own one?"
Arthur inquired, curious of the reason.

"I had it before but my uncle took it as a punishment for me for not going to college or uni. I might ask him to buy me one."
Akira casually replied.

"Now I see why you never called your uncle and just your sister. Here, use it. I'll just look for books in the library that I'll be needing this afternoon." Arthur said and left.

"Thanks again." Akira replied and for about 30 minutes he was able to find what he needs and completed his homework. He was now going through some theories he found when a group of ladies approached his table.

"Hi! we were hoping if you could share a s.p.a.ce for us?"
one of them asked.

"I'm sorry but________ , its you" Akira stopped after he notice her.

"Yes, its me Clara, sorry for disturbing but can we join your table?"

"Actually, I'm with my friends. He just left and will be back, while I'm waiting for ____ and here she is." Akira said just as a.n.a.lyze was coming out.

"Ana!" He called our and signalling her to come. They look at who he was calling.

"Hey, do you know where my brother is? I'm trying to look for him." Ana asked while approaching then she notice her brother's laptop on the table.

"Yes actually, he went and borrow some books at the library, so I borrowed this." Akira replied and pointed to the laptop after. Ana just nod and took her sit. She gave a smile to the ladies that is with them.

"I'm sorry Ms. Bronte, but we can't accommodate you and your friends. Akira finally said to them and they left to look for another s.p.a.ce.

Sitting near by.

"You are right Clara, he is very, very handsome. I could definitely say that he is a player... But how do you plan to like you, no... first to notice you?" One of her friends asked.

"I won't worry about that, I have a plan. From all that I have heard from him, I would definitely win." Clara explained.

"Tell me did I just save you?" Ana inquired.

"Most definitely, you have. She talks to much of things I don't even know. Thank you for that." Akira replied.

"I think, as much that I'm gaining knowledge, I am also gaining enemies because of you." Ana mentioned flatly that Akira has to look at her and see what she means but saw nothing.

"What do you mean? Is this about them or are you planning to stop being my friend?"
Akira asked a bit confused.

"What I'm saying is that, there will always be people like her who would think of me as hindrance to get you. Also I didn't say you should stop to be my friend." Ana explained and smiled after looking at his face.

"For someone who had a lot of experience on relations.h.i.+p with opposite s.e.x, you are definitely slow." Ana added laughing.

"Well.... I don't actually try to think of that. I may had many experiences but not the same as what we have now." Akira explained. Ana didn't say anything, what would she even say to that. Good thing his brother is her life saver, he suddenly was there carrying 3 books. He sat down between them and gave one book to Akira.

"Here, I found this book. You can use it as a guide for your questions and its more complete than the others." Arthur said not noticing that he might have interrupted something but both never said anything.

"Thanks! what are the other books?"

"I was intigued with the t.i.tle so I borrowed it. Its about creatures and while this other book is for my lesson tomorrow."

"So, its a fictional book, brother."

"Maybe... it is about creatures anyway. I'll see what is all about and I'll tell you about it." Arthur answered her. They then continued what they were doing while taking their break.

The first semester was just the tip of an iceberg. The pressure of the exams given ever month adding the other requirements is how the whole semester went through. Akira didn't stop seeing Ana until she agreed to go out with him. Arthur never said anything about their relations.h.i.+p. As for Clara, she didn't stop interfering. She tried seducing, blackmailing Ana, creating traps and others but Ana was more cunning to see what is real and not. Then a two weeks break was given to all students, that was the only motivation they got to finish all their requirements, a long break.
