Lucky Unluckiest 10 Chapter Ten

We were peacefully eating together until Liam came back from the washroom. "I am back!" He waved at Sophia because he knew if he said that to me I wouldn't answer and it would be kind of awkward in front of Sophia.

I saw Liam then my eyes automatically s.h.i.+fted to Sophia, she smiled so brightly at Liam.

Watching her smile made my lips curved upwards.

She turned to me.

I quickly looked down and took a spoonful of rice in my mouth.

Oh my G.o.d this is so awkward.

I think she caught me smiling at her.

Oh no.

Never mind. I shook my head as I ate the last bite of my meal and looked to my right where Liam was sitting.

It felt a little weird that I was the first one to finish my food because Liam's and Sophia's tray were only half way empty.

I waited for them to finish but they were too slow that I decided to leave because it's better than sitting awkwardly while they were eating.

When I was about to leave Sophia muttered, "W...why don't we continue with our a.s.signment miss Melanie a.s.signed us?"

I turned around.

"That's a good idea." I replied nodding my head.

"But you haven't completed your food yet." I pointed at her tray.

"Oh, I am full." She looked at her meal and smiled at me.

She stood up and we were about to leave when Liam yelled, "I'll be walking home with you!"

"Okayy." I replied giving him a thumb up.

And we left.

It was so silent when we were walking through the hallway until she spoke up,"Why don't we call other members too?"

"Yes, sure, that'll be great!" I looked at her but she took out her phone and she was using it. I pouted to show I was frowned and then I looked away. After a while she said," I have texted them to gather in the library, let's go there."

Oh so she was texting them.

How dumb of me. tch.

"Okay." I replied and I felt she was looking at me so I turned my face to her.

She was looking at me.

She pa.s.sed me a thinned lips smile nodding her head.

I was looking at her eyes, they were so sparkling and so beautiful I didn't want to look away.

Forcing myself to stop thinking I smiled back.

Why am I smiling back at her!? Its not like me. It's like I have lost control over my face expressions. They changes anytime without my permission!

We headed to library and Noah was there, already waiting for us at the door.

"Hi" Sophia greeted Noah.

"Hey" He greeted back with his face gestures.

And we walked in.

When we walked to the library I saw Noah at the front door probably waiting for us.

We greeted each other and went inside the library.

We all gathered on the table where we last sat.

As soon as everyone got there I stood up and went to

the shelves searching for the books that were needed for the a.s.signments.

I called Emma for the help. She agreed and we went looking for the books needed for the a.s.signment, when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out and turned on the screen.

It was my mother.

'We'll be late honey but don't worry I've made dinner for you, make sure to finish it all.'

I sighed.

Not again.

It seriously ruined my mood. I was so happy since this morning and now, out of the blues I don't even feel like smiling. It was a usual thing at our place, although I love my parents, we don't spend much time together since they both are busy with their work, so busy that they gave me a very little time to love while growing up. I know it's not their fault nor I hate them for that, I just wished they realize how much I needed them when I was growing up.

Emma noticed and asked me, "Is everything okay?"

I changed my expressions "Yes. It's just a message from my mother."

She nodded her head.

We continued looking for some books. After a while I found two books which contained the information of the things we needed.

"Hey Emma I found them." I whispered to Emma remembering what happened last time in the library with Noah which made me giggle.

Holding the books we went back to where everyone was seated.

When we settled down I took out my gla.s.ses and wore them. When my eyes s.h.i.+fted to Logan he was already looking at me.

I quickly looked down.

Oh no. It wasn't intentional!

"You wear gla.s.ses?" Noah asked.

"Yes sometimes while studying." I replied.

"Let's start with chapter number 1." Logan spoke up.

"I gathered some information related to this topic from the Internet...." He begins.

And we continued with our a.s.signment.

After a while the bell rung and we noticed everyone leaving. I took off my gla.s.ses and put it in my bag and I made my way out of the library.

Walking to the cla.s.s Logan came to me.

Wait, did he come to me?

What a surprise!

I kept walking pretending I didn't see him.

"You looked cute with those gla.s.ses." He suddenly spoke which made me stop walking and I stared blankly at I don't know what because for a moment my heart was thumping so fast, making my cheeks burning red.

"Th...Thank you." I replied avoiding the eye-to-eye contact and continued walking.

I feel my legs wobbling.

I suddenly forgot how to walk.

Oh no. Gosh. Why? Why now?

He didn't say anything after that and I pretended to be okay but from inside I had trouble breathing, I wanted to take deep breaths so I made my way to the washroom.

I walked straight to the washroom.

When I reached the washroom I looked behind to see if Logan was still following me but luckily there was no sign of Logan.

I let out a big sigh.

And went inside the washroom.
