The Briggs family stayed at the Howard's mansion. Clark is so amazed seeing another mansion of his grandparents and he could not sit still and keeps on asking questions about the country, about the mansion and everything which caught his eyes.

Clark planned to spend his summer vacation at Vienna together with Tristan. He asked his daddy Clifford if Tristan's mom would allow it, Clifford said that he'll try to persuade Tristan's mom.

The newlywed couple stayed at Ingrid's bedroom while Clark has his own room, especially prepared for him. But at times, he would often go around with his grandparents while his dad and mom had all the time for themselves. This arrangement delighted the couple because they get the chance to spend time with each other and to have more fun, more pa.s.sionate and private moments to indulge in.

To Clark's happiness, the new family got the chance to explore the new resort. The child jumps and down the moment he knew that he'll be able to see the resort before it officially opens. Clark runs to his room and changed his clothes and brought with him his swimming attire.

When they arrived at the resort, they were all amazed of its structure.

It is a highland resort and its name is still covered and will only be revealed on the day of Clark's birthday. The highlight of this resort is the perfect view of the Danube river. Inside, a contemporary cool mixes with traditional touches such as pebble mosaics, clay roofs and wood shutters.

The suites have its infinity pools and bungalows dotted around pretty palm and olive tree-filled gardens. A dreamy spa with a sauna, abundant water sports and a kid's club to ensure that there's something for all ages, from toddlers to honeymooners.

"Who designed this?" Ingrid immediately asked.

"Lance designed the whole place. From small to great details he knew it all." John Howard answered and pride could be seen in his eyes as his gaze wandered around.

"This is so beautiful, dad, by the way, where's Lance? I haven't seen him since." Ingrid felt grateful towards Lance effort because to her, he's like a big brother and thanking him is just a small thing.

Clifford then cleared his throat to remind his wife that he's around, but Ingrid didn't care because she's just so engrossed looking at the structural design. She inspects every detail and so amazed how these modern designs blended beautiful with the traditional touch.

"He's at the office, he's managing some minor changes and instructing some of the newly hired staffs for the resort."

"Oh, can we go see him?" Ingrid nonchalantly asked without knowing that Clifford doesn't like her idea.

"Sure thing, daughter… we'll just walk this way and then turn right. And you can see a ma.s.sive b.u.t.terfly door there which links to the offices. I'll go ahead to announce your arrival." John Howard then walked ahead of them.

As they followed, Clifford decided to stop her.

"Love, can we look around first and just forget about work, please? We're here to enjoy not to work." His face looked serious, but Ingrid wouldn't budge in because she's curious about her family's new business.

Ingrid smiled. "Love, you know I can't set aside work, besides it's you who taught me that we can mix business with pleasure, right. And oh! Please do remember that I'll be managing my family's business in the future, have you forgotten our deal before?" she looked at her husband seriously.

Her statement stunned Clifford. He totally forgot about their deal before because he's so engrossed in making his wife happy. What she said gives him a hunched that Ingrid's been planning something behind his back.

Clifford stopped in his tracks. "Wait, what are you saying?" he appeared confused, his brows knitted, his eyes narrowed.

"Let's talk about it later, baby, okay? I really should come with, daddy." Ingrid evaded his scrutinizing gaze.

Clifford could only sigh heavily and took hold of her hand and never let it go. He has no choice but to follow her.

Ingrid grinned at her husband's helpless state. To pacify him, she intertwined her hand to his. She tiptoed and whispered into his ear.

"What do you want me to do later… in bed? I'm at your command." She then playfully bit her husband's ear that makes his ears flushed as well as her cheeks.

Clifford's annoyance subsided and different heat took over him. But he must restrain himself knowing that this feisty wife of his is just luring him to give in to her whims. So he pretended not to be affected but in truth, he wanted to s.n.a.t.c.h her away and make love to her again and again.

He couldn't stop doing it with her because she's like an addicting substance, the more he indulges himself with her the more he's captivated to have and taste her. He's addicted to her scent, her caresses, her soft moans in his ears…

"Don't use that trick to me, wife. It won't work." He snorted, stopping himself in grinning from ear to ear.

"A great pretender!" Ingrid laughs. "…okay then, since you're not interested…" her voice trailed when Clifford hid her in between a wall and then imprisoned her lips with his.

They're both panting when they parted their lips.

"That's my punishment. Did I tell you that I don't?" his face is stern and almost exploding with need.
