Suddenly, her phone rings. A private and unknown number registered on the screen.

At first, she ignored it and didn't bother picking it up because she was preoccupied on how to avenge herself. But the caller is unrelenting so she decided to answer it and thought that it might be an important call.

"h.e.l.lo, may I know who's calling, please?"

"The man you exactly need." She pulls away the phone and looked at the screen again and thought it's a prank.

"WHO ARE YOU? I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR SILLY GAMES." she angrily asked.

"It's not important of who I am, what's important is what I'm offering you." the voice suddenly becomes serious.

However, the voice of the man on the other line is strange. She noticed that he is using a voice changer devise which is very uncommon for someone to use, unless he's someone who's in illegal trade.

"I'm not interested. Psycho!" She sneered.

When she was about to hang up...

"Even if it includes Ingrid and Clifford?" she heard a roaring laugh on the other line, mocking her sudden s.h.i.+ft.

She's stunned. Vanessa didn't speak nor hang up the phone and just listened.

"I knew exactly what you want and we both could come into an agreement. Interesting right? I've investigated you and right now, I know you're smas.h.i.+ng everything in your condo. Don't ask why I knew," she heard him laugh again.

The offer is very tempting to her and it rings a bell in her ears. She's in dilemma.

"Why me?"

"Well, you have the resources, I have the plan."

Funny it may seem, but it excites her. It gives her hope to go and get Clifford back from Ingrid. And she'll get him, by hook or by crook.

The next morning, the couple Clifford and Ingrid went to John and Rose's bedroom. Last night, after everything was revealed, they've planned to inform the old man about the good news.

When the two of them came in, the old man is eating his breakfast at the balcony with his wife.

"Dad, mom, good morning." Ingrid kissed her daddy on the cheeks and fondly smiled at him and after that she greeted her mother with a kiss as well.

"Good morning, father and mother," greets Clifford with a warm smile plastered on his lips.

John's eyes become watery upon seeing his daughter together with her husband. After so many years of waiting, finally his daughter is back. Not just alone but with a companion.

"Good morning, to the two of you, come eat with us." John waved his hand to the servant. "…serve the breakfast for your young master and young miss." He ordered.

The early mist and the soft glow of the sun give a tranquil ambience of the surrounding.

"What a good morning…" Ingrid fills her lungs with fresh air.

She closes her eyes as she takes pleasure satisfying her lungs with the air she breathes while her father is so amused looking at her daughter.

Every time his daughter has some good news to say, she would often request that they have breakfast together at the balcony. She would often breathe in and out the air and bluff some sweet nothings to them before she spill the beans.

"Hmmm… you wake up so… alive and refreshed dear. Is there any good news?" John asked.

Though Ingrid didn't say anything, he knew his daughter so well.

"Daddy, let's wait for our breakfast to arrive first." She grinned. "By the way, how are you feeling these days?"

Since this is the first intimate breakfast, they, Rose and Clifford, just happily watch and listened to the father and daughter conversation. And when the breakfast arrived, before it reaches their table Ingrid wanted to puke the moment she smell it.

"Excuse me, I need to go to the–" she could not finish her words and run towards the toilet room and there she throw up.

Her husband also went with her to calm her, caressing her back. When they came back, their breakfast was gone. On the other hand, John was puzzled of his daughter's sudden reaction.

"What's happening with you, Ingrid? Isn't that your favorite breakfast? The eggs Benedict?" her father inquired.

"We have two good news, father." John's brow knitted all the more and then looked at his daughter.

"You mean you're carrying a twin?" the couple looked at each other and then nodded to John.

"That's… that's incredible!" John exclaimed and then he coughed.

"Easy dad," John just raised his hand and signalled that he's okay.

"I'm going to be a grandfather again. Is this for real? Am I not dreaming?"
