The next morning, Ingrid woke up a little bit late. The moment she opened her eyes she saw her son intently staring at her and was about to caress her face.

"Good morning, mom! How's the party? Did you have fun?" She smiled upon hearing his question as it reminds her how she always ask him about his day at school.

"Good morning, baby. The party's fine and I enjoyed it a little bit..."

"What is it like to be in a party, mom?"

"Uhh, there are lots of people, chatters, good foods, dancing, which you love; you'll also meet new people there." Then she remembered.

"Oh, by the way, there are two people who love to meet you." She caressed her son's hair.

"Who are they?" She smiled and wants to hang things to her son.

"Later, you'll eventually meet them."

Her phone suddenly rang. She looked at the caller. 'Liane? Why so early?'

"Hey sis! Good morning!" She pulled away the phone from her ear when she heard her bestfriend's scream.

"My goodness! It's so early, Liane, what happened? Why are you screaming?!"

"Eeeeeeeee, sis!!! You're on the news! You're trending in the internet, too.." Ingrid rolled her eyes. She stood up and went to the bathroom.

"That's it?? I thought something has happened to you? By the way, dad and mom are here in the city. They've found me..." she changed their topic because she thought that Liane's news was just an ordinary one.

"Huh?! You mean uncle John and Aunt Rose in the flesh?" her tone suddenly changed.

"Ahuh! And we'll meet later again and to introduce Clark to them as well.." Liane became silent. "..are you still there?"

"Ahh yeah.. does Clark know?"

"He knew he'll meet some people but has no idea who.."

"How are you feeling now?"

"I feel set free, the guilt slowly disappeared after I confessed to them and I asked for their forgiveness.." she smiled faintly when she remembered the scene last night, she feels surreal but she frowned upon remembering Clifford and their dance.

"When are they going back to Vierra? I want to see them again before they go home. I miss them, too."

"I'll ask them, or better yet, you go with us later if you're free.."

"I'd love that...just text me the time and place, okay? See ya!"

"Clark, let's eat our breakfast already.." the child's eyes filled with delight and motioned to be cradled.

After the breakfast, they prepared to meet her parents in the hotel, but she decided to go to the company first to file a leave of absence so that she could spend more time with her parents. She seldom brought her child along in the company. She doesnt want to expose her child just yet to the public fearing that the child will be a public talk among the employees. Most specially, that in any moment her ident.i.ty as an heiress will be revealed.

Ingrid wore a white knee length dress paired with blazer a black flats. Clark, on the other hand, wore a checkered roll up sleeves, white pants and white shoes that makes him look so gentle and a behave boy.

"Why are you so handsome, son?" She could not refrain squeezing his chubby cheeks.

"Ouch mom! My face will be ruined, I want to look good to those who want to meet me.." he said seriously.

She laughed incredulously on her son's reaction.

"Let's go!" she said excitedly.

They sat at the back seat of the car and she noticed that his child was unusually silent. So she just allowed him and ordered the driver to head to the office first because she has some errands to instruct her personal secretary.

When they arrived,

"Son, just stay here for awhile with driver Joe okay?" Mom's gonna instruct Daisy before we head to the hotel."

"I want to go with you, mommy. Please?" seeing how adorable his son is, she consented and took him by the hands and they entered the lobby of the company. The guard greeted her warmly and she nodded in response.

Everyone present in the lobby stared at them and stopped in their tracks, they were agape with the mother-son duo. Ingrid continued walking and didnt mind her surroundings as she was in a hurry to finish the work and to go to the hotel.

After she instructed Daisy about the works, she bid farewell. On the elevator, she called her Liane.

"Sis, lets meet at Guinevere hotel. Mom and Dad are waiting there. See ya!"

Not far away from them, a pair of eyes comes across their spot. Ingrid was holding the child by hand while her other hand was talking over the phone when she emerged from the elevator.

He looked at her wide-eyed as she appears fresh and vibrant but his feet flinched to continue walking when he saw the child she was holding hands with while walking.
