Clifford almost choked then he shook his head in disbelief which made the man laughed and tapped Clifford's back as if they were already friends.

The couple were both influential spokespersons for any product they endorse. Both of them were world cla.s.s product endorsers when they were younger, much more become renowned after they got married. And companies all over the world courted them to endorse their products but only a few succeeded. No one knew how they could be persuaded.

One hour have pa.s.sed since Ingrid started to present her business proposal. The couple just listened to her and casually looked at each other, silently communicating just with a look in their eyes.

"The target market is ranging from young professionals to the middle-aged couple. We decided to make you as the spokespersons for the middle-aged or shall we say for the 'young at hearts' populace." She smiled at the word she just created out of nowhere. "... This product is chemical free as we advocates the organic components for our products, which is we are famous of, not to brag."

Ingrid took a sample cream to the couple and tried it to the woman's hands.

"As you can see, this product is the best among others because of the authenticity of its ingredients that it instead of damaging the skin it reconstructs to its natural glow." The couple nodded in agreement and smelled the product.

"The smell is nice too." The man commented. She felt relieved.

"Thank you. Furthermore, this is a product of love and dedication of the employees and experts who, some of them, were with the company from the start up until now. That's why we specifically chose you because you both represent love and dedication to every product you represent, which you are both famous of. We also observed that you both have influence in suggesting products not because of its great ingredients but because of its genuineness."

They just keep on nodding and then looking at each other.

The woman spoke no word during her presentation, did not barge in nor ask some questions in the middle of her presentation, which she always encounter during her business proposals. And this makes her nervous even more.

After she presented the proposal, she could not stop herself to ask them. Also to ease some tension she felt inside.

"Mrs. Jeffries, forgive me for prying, but I observed that you and Mr, Jeffries kept on communicating by just looking with each other's eyes. Correct me I'm wrong, though." She blushed.

Both of them chuckled. "Oh... you noticed it huh? No wonder you're the EVP. You see, the more you spend with the one you love, the more it's easier for you to understand them and communicate with them just by one look." The man answered chuckling.

"We have seen that with you and Clifford, haven't you know that? Earlier when you glared at him over something, he automatically shut up." And then she looked at her husband. "... I often do that to Liam everytime he does naughty things." The woman further stated.

Ingrid could only swallow her spit. She's been itching to speak the truth but not yet, so she just smiled.

"What can you say about the proposal?" she asked and her nervousness grew every minute.

"We already have decided before we went here." Ingrid almost faint and could not speak.
