Mend My Broken Heart Chapter 145: Conspiracy 1

Gabrielle's smile vanished as she recalled her parents' reaction regarding her birthday celebration.

It's her 18th birthday! It is like not her other birthday celebration.

She only have one 18th birthday yet her parents forgot about it. How saddening.

Her breakfast tasted bland. She didn't even drink her milk and went straight to the door and called the chauffeur to drive for her.

She wanted to cry and felt stifled.

Her mood is down and wanted to forget about it but she had nowhere to vent out her emotions.

The driver noticed the mood of his employer.

"Miss Gabby, what's wrong?" the man asked worriedly.

Gabrielle shook her head. Unable to hold her emotions, her tears silently rolled down from her eyes. The driver felt terrified after seeing her tears.

'What's wrong with Missy?' he thought but he glimpses her from time to time from the rearview mirror.

After ten minutes or so of driving, she arrived at their rendevous point. She called Ysa as she walked towards the salon.

"I'm already here. I'll get my ma.s.sage first. Call me if you're about to arrive.

Ysa only replied a short okay then hung up.

She pushed the door to open and the manager unexpectedly had been waiting for her since early in the morning upon receiving further instruction from Lyndon.

"Good morning Miss Lincoln, I'm the manager here and as a token of appreciation for patronizing us, we will give you a free service for today." the manager said enthusiastically.

"Eva, show Miss Lincoln to her room... and attend her personally." the manager turned to the woman beside him.

"Yes sir." the woman answered politely.

"Then I'll excuse myself Miss Lincoln." after saying his piece, he turned around and walked away. He then dialed a number on his phone and reported his accomplished task.

Gabrielle just nodded and followed the attendant to her designated room. After some twists and turns, she finally arrived at a pink-colored door.

The woman called Eva, swiped her card to unlock the door and gestured Gabrielle to enter.

"Thank you," she said.

Eva just nodded. "The changing room is on your right."

Gabrielle like this place and she proceeded to change into the pink robe that's already prepared.

When she walked out, she saw Eva busying herself.

On the table, she saw different types of essential oils and relaxation balm as well as incense.

This sight made Gabrielle's mood lighten up. She didn't think about her parents and her dream celebration of her 18th birthday.

Eva made her lay down the ma.s.sage bed and she applied some essential oils on her hands as she gently slathered it across her bareback.

She gently kneaded her back and pressed her pressure points to help her relax. Gab slowly closed her eyes to savor the sensations she felt.

"You have excellent ma.s.saging skills..." she couldn't help but comment about it.

Eva didn't respond but continued the ma.s.sage.

After a long while, Gabrielle fell asleep and to be sure, Eva pressed one point to make her faint.

Eva pressed the bell at the bedside and not long after, two women carried Gabrielle out from the room.
