Xu Jia Li couldn't see any reaction from Jay Chou's eyes when her time was finished. Luo Daming walked towards her. He slightly nodded at her before he stood behind her.

Since the male and female lead fell in love while they were still studying in the university, they would need to take pictures together.

Lou Daming was very professional as he posed in front of the camera. The chemistry was infallible. They looked perfect with each other. The love could be seen clearly on their faces.

After their time was up, Luo Daming bowed before he returned to his seat. Xu Jia Li gazed once again at Jay Chou and failed to see any reaction from his face. She didn't know exactly if he liked what he saw. She bowed her head before she walked back to her dressing room to change.

Shen Linqin followed behind. Her face was full of worry. She even had sweat all over her forehead, "Li-jie, do you think Jay Chou like your pictures? Why didn't he say anything? Why is he so hard to please? Even your pictorial with Luo Daming, he didn't even say anything."

Seeing that Shen Linqin was on the verge of crying, she said, "We'll find out," she smiled as she continued on her way.

"Miss Xu, please, can you just go back inside. You're not helping at all. Can't you see that I'm trying to convince Mr. Chou?" the annoyance was evident in a.s.sistant Director Chua's face as he motioned Xu Jia Li to go back.

"Is this the kind of artist that you starred in your movie? I didn't know that you prefer shallow beauty than pure talent. If she couldn't even handle a simple photoshoot, what more could she do in the movie?" Jay Chou sneered as he mocked Xu Jia Li.

Her expression was still the same as she provocatively said, clearly challenging him, "Why don't you try first? If you don't like the result then I'll quit the entertainment industry."

After she said those words, she left them. She took a deep breath as she tried to keep herself together.

While walking to her dressing room, Shen Linqin spoke, "Li-jie, is it really important that we have a nice pictorial for the movie?"

"Yes, since we have to promote the movie, we must have a nice picture for it."

When they were inside, Xu Jia Li changed into a hospital gown, she also removed her make- up.

"Li-jie, why aren't the make-up artists doing your face?" Shen Linqin asked in panic.

"I'll do it."

She knew that everyone blamed her. She didn't want to make everything a big deal if they didn't want to do her make-up. Since she had to look sick, she put a light powder all over her face including her lips. She put a lot of powder on her naturally red lips to cover the color.

Once she finished, she turned the doork.n.o.b and was about to walk out when she noticed something stuck on the door. She stopped and left it slightly opened.

"What's that Li-jie? Why did you stop?"

Instead of answering, Xu Jia Li took a chair and looked at the cord connected to the doork.n.o.b outside. Since it was stuck on the door, she needed to force it to open. Her lips curled into a smile when she realized what was happening.

Someone really wanted to mess with her. She asked Shen Linqin to get the small mirror on the vanity table. After Shen Linqin handed her the mirror, she eased it outside and to her amazement, she was right.

There were two gallons of black paint on top, just right outside the door. How petty! Earlier, when she entered her dressing room, she didn't really pay much attention.

Someone sure knew that she was in a hurry to notice that. If she immediately went out, all the black paints would already be spluttered on her. Then, it would make it impossible for her to continue the photo shoot.

"Li-jie, what's happening?"

Xu Jia Li closed the door and looked around the dressing room. She needed to hurry or else, everything would fall down the drain.

Then, she saw a huge umbrella that she used in one of the scenes. Thank heavens! She carried it with her that time.

"Linqin, carry my other shoes."

She opened the door as she opened the umbrella. All of a sudden, the black paints came pouring down so fast.

Shen Linqin shrieked when she saw what happened. However, Xu Jia Li remained unperturbed as she put the umbrella on the floor and headed straight to the set.

Shen Linqin followed behind, still trembling. She gave a leather chair to Xu Jia Li which was next to Meng Lulu.

Xu Jia Li's sharp eyes scanned her surroundings. She really gave it to that someone for doing those things.

She looked at the set and saw that it was already Li Yun's turn. He seemed to be doing great since Jay Chou kept nodding his head.

"Senior Xu, you did great back there," Meng Lulu smiled at her as she raised her thumbs up.

She nodded her head as she smiled meekly before she answered, "Thank you, Lulu!"
