Si Weimin glared at Li Yun as if wanting to kill him with his stare. His heart felt like bursting when he saw him hugging Xu Jia Li.

His breathing was heavy. The scene in front of him made him want to hurt Li Yun. He gritted his teeth, his face was dark as he furrowed his brows.

He was in the company when w.a.n.g Guo called him about the news. He immediately called Xu Jia Li. He knew that she wanted to be alone but he forgot all that – breaking all the rules because he knew that Xu Jia Li was more important than anything.

No matter what, even if she got mad at him. All he wanted was to know how she was.

He wanted to see her. He was so worried when Xu Jia Li ended the call. In his heart, he knew that something's off. He was sure when he heard her sobbing.

All of a sudden, he rode his car and drove so fast that all he wanted was to be with her.

He directly went to Xu Jia Li's apartment. He almost tripped as he ran. He didn't even care if he's tired or if he looked like a fool running as he got out of the lift. What matters was that he saw her.

"You're holding the wrong girl, Mr. Li."

The two broke away from their embrace. Li Yun glared back at Si Weimin still holding Xu Jia Li's back.

Si Weimin was so mad he wanted to crush Li Yun right then and there.

"I see you're also here, Mr. Si."

"I wouldn't imagine being anywhere else than here, Mr. Li."

The two held their stance, like two wolves ready to defend their territory. Si Weimin glared at Li Yun, his dark eyes glinted. He held his gazed, not backing down.

"I came first. So,I guess you have to wait until I leave." Li Yun answered bitterly, returning the same ferocity of Si Weimin's gaze.

"Ah, you're mistaken, Mr. Yun. I'm quite territorial."

"Xiao Li is NOT your PROPERTY!"

"I don't think I have to explain myself to you."

"Mr. Si! You have no business here. I am not someone who easily back down."

"Let's see about that."

He walked towards the stunned Xu Jia Li who was still shocked about the whole ordeal. Si Weimin held her right hand and pulled her near him before he locked her in his embrace.

"I missed you, my love."

Li Yun was dumbfounded as the scene unfolded in front of him, his eyes were full of hatred as he grabbed Si Weimin's shoulder and threw a punch on his face.

"How dare you call her that!"

Caught off guard, the punch landed straight on Si Weimin's lips.

Xu Jia Li's voice could be heard as she shouted, "Stop it! Yun-ge stop! Don't do it!" Her attempt to hold Li Yun and stop him from attacking Si Weimin was put to naught.

Li Yun moved fast as he disregarded Xu Jia Li's plead. Instead, he aimed for another strike and threw another punch towards Si Weimin's way.

However, Si Weimin was already on his feet. As he was much faster than Li Yun, he dodged before he grabbed Li Yun's right hand and twisted it on his back. He pushed him before he hit him on the face.

One. 'This is for punching me!'

Two. 'For questioning my authority!'

Three. 'For holding my girl!'

He threw more punches as he released the fury he felt towards Li Yun. He didn't stop even if he saw him bleeding.

Xu Jia Li held Si Weimin as she pleaded, "Weimin-ge, please stop."

Si Weimin felt like cold water was splashed on his whole body when he saw Xu Jia Li crying. He suddenly couldn't move. He stopped on his track. His chest was heaving up and down as he gazed down on the slumping form of Li Yun on the floor.

He saw Shen Linqin running towards Li Yun. Both women were crying as they supported Li Yun to stand.

"What happened, Li-jie?" Shen Linqin whimpered. She touched Li Yun's face, "Yun-ge! Yun-ge! Oh my G.o.d, Li-jie! There are so much blood."

"Call Manager Ho, Linqin. Hurry!" Xu Jia Li led Li Yun inside and helped him sit on the sofa.

The concern she had for Li Yun made Si Weimin shattered inside. He remained outside, his gaze still following the two.

His heart bled. He felt so much pain than he felt in his lifetime. More than the pain he felt on his face, or the swelling of his hand. Suddenly, hot liquid formed in the corner of his eyes. He shrugged them away as he strode away from the scene. He felt defeated… and broken.

Xu Jia Li was taken aback when she saw how the two men brawled. She was glued on her place, shocked and numbed, it was when she saw Li Yun unconscious and bleeding that she finally asked Si Weimin to stop.

She couldn't believe what she saw. She was crying. She was just glad that no one was there to witness what happened. She would never forgive herself if Si Weimin would be put in another shameful situation because of her.

She approached Li Yun and calmed herself. She needed to make sure that Li Yun would be okay. Si Weimin should be spared another bas.h.i.+ng and hate.

After she put Li Yun on the sofa, she turned her head looking for Si Weimin. She was filled with worry when she saw that he was not there anymore.

"Linqin, I'll leave Yun-ge to you. Accompany him until Manager Ho arrived."

"B-but Li-jie, where are – "

Without waiting for Linqin to finish her question, she immediately ran outside. She was frustrated when she saw that the elevators were all occupied. If she waited for the lifts to go up, she might not be able to reach him in time.

Xu Jia Li decided to take the stairs and run so fast that her feet started to ache. She did not notice that her feet had blisters which were bleeding. Only thinking about Si Weimin, she did not mind what she felt.

'Weimin, why did you leave?'

Her mind was filled with his image – his swollen lips. She was gasping for air when she reached the parking lot. She scanned the place and looked for Si Weimin's car. She sighed in relief when she saw him standing in front of his car, his back facing her.

She tensed when she felt the cold air hit her face. She s.h.i.+vered. Suddenly, she was afraid to approach him. She was so worried about him that she ran all the way down just to see him but now that he was there, she didn't know what to do.

She hesitated – her mind was full of apprehensions. She slowly walked towards him and then stopped. Her mind was telling her to stop. But in the end, her heart told her to do what she wanted to do. So she followed her heart and ran towards him.

She hugged him from behind. So tight that she felt his body stiffened.

"Weimin-ge…" Xu Jia Li started sobbing. She held him even tighter. She filled her heart with his warmth, with his scent, with his very being.

Her tears started to flow freely, all feelings she had inside, she let them out in those tears.

She felt him trying to loosen her grip, so she wrapped her arms around him even tighter,

"Weimin-ge, how dare you just leave after that? How dare you made me so worried? No, I won't let you go,"

She buried her tear stricken face on his back as she continued,

"Why… Why did you leave when you know I'll be worried? How dare you make me worried sick about you?"
