"Li-jie, I can't believe that you've defeated Qi Xenjin like that!" Shen Linqin continued praising Xu Jia Li. Her eyes shone so bright. She felt like a heavy load was lifted on her shoulder.

They were inside a private room at Bluish Apple Pub. They waited as their orders were already taken.

"I knew that I have nothing to worry since Jia Li is very competent. Aww, I suddenly feel so incompetent. Please don't fire me as your manager." Lan Meixu laughed as she teased Xu Jia Li.

"I think changing manager is a good idea." Xu Jia Li answered seriously.

Seeing the stunned look on their faces, Xu Jia Li burst into laughter. "Ha Ha Ha! You could've seen the look on your faces! It's really epic!"

They were disappointed on how Xu Jia Li handled things with Qi Xenjin. They told her that it would be better if they settled things privately since they were both valuable artists at Sun and Star.

Since the news about Qi Xenjin broke out, Gao Zia and Du Meis.h.i.+ finally broke their silence and exposed Qi Xenjin. They took the opportunity to tell what they had been through because of her and how they were oppressed. They also exposed that because Qi Xenjin was famous; they didn't have the courage to go against her and decided to leave Sun and Star. With this, the two of them gained instant fame as they received the fans' sympathy.

This left more damage to the company since it seemed that they didn't take care of their artists and let one artist to bully another. It made the company incompetent and unable to protect its artists. This made the higher ups angrier.

However, it was Lan Meixu who told them everything and explained why Xu Jia Li resorted to such measure. She also told them that it was the right thing to do to be able to stop Qi Xenjin's schemes.

The higher ups didn't seem to be appeased but didn't say anything.

They focused on drafting the statement that they would release. The official statement announced that Sun and Star would no longer have anything to do with Qi Xenjin as they canceled her contract. They also reiterated that Qi Xenjin violated the morals of the company and it was enough ground to cut connection with her. They also emphasized that what Qi Xenjin did had nothing to do with the company since they were as clueless about it all.

After deciding on the statements that the PR department would release, the four of them decided to celebrate and unwind.

On their way, Zhen Nian told Xu Jia Li about the official statement released by Si International.

It clearly stated that Director Tang would no longer be part of Si International because what he did was against the moral standard of the company.

With regards to Qi Xenjin, they emphasized that they would never tolerate seeing an artist as vile as her. A call to boy cot Qi Xenjin was also included in the statement. They would also file a lawsuit against Qi Xenjin and Hong Tingguang for deliberately planning to destroy the image of Si Weimin.

Lastly, it was mentioned that they would be glad to wait for Xu Jia Li if she decided to continue with the audition since she rightfully pa.s.sed the initial selection.

Xu Jia Li only sighed as she felt her whole body relax. She had been through a lot of gossips and rumors because of Qi Xenjin. She was just glad that everything was settled now.
